New Speaker of the House: Rep. Kent Williams

The elections ARE the polls and it was very clear that TN wanted a conservative ideological shift. You are right it is not about Republican vs. Democrat but it is about conservative vs. liberal. What you seem to fail to see is that only R talk about/try bipartisanship and that is at the behest of the Dems when they are out of power. The Dems for the last 49 years did not operate or try to operate bipartisanly. Actually it was quite the opposite. In fact since 1991 Naife has blatantly lead viciously partisian, not even allowing bills with more than enough votes to even come to the floor or committees for that matter. It makes you feel good to sit there sippin on your java thinking the world is in balance, but this is actually the first time in a long time it has started to come back to balance. People have been walking on such a crooked slope for so long that when the ground flattens out they swear the ground is crooked. BTW - what Williams did was extremely partisian. He did the will of the Dems despite the will of the people. Voters don't elect Rep to act like a Dem. To say he wants to lead bi-partisian is laughable and ignorant in the extreme. -

So backstabbing the will of the people, your own party, and Tennessee in general hasn't earned anything? Wow, the koolaid must be good. As far as looking to commonality, when ideological bases are opposites, compromise will only get you killed. True an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, that's why you better take both of the enemies first. This whole kum-ba-ya mentality is how partisan ship gets rampant. It is just another tactic to get an upper hand by the minority who can't win on the strength of their own beliefs. If people would be more honest about what they believe and why they believe it, we could actually get a whole lot further along. The naivety of commonality is to deny the nature of mankind and the unversal laws of truth. There is right and there is wrong. When you compramise truth you just make chaos. Look at our country and the TN legislature. It is in chaos. Why, compramise. The feel good medicine. Problem is it is like coccaine, it shure feels good all the way up till you die. Rant off. -
Didn't know if anyone has seen this yet. http://politics.nashvillepost.com/2009/01/13/there-are-two-is-in-kent-williams-but-no-rs/

didn't Naifeh say very similar things. -
I hope you don't join AARP. They are extremely liberal and anti 2A, but if you need someone to rock and shoot I'm up for that!

Finally! Thanks, saved me a lot of googling.

Very nice rifle. I too prefer the '06 to the .308. Of course I prefer a .270 to the .308 too! Really? Every thing I've read says they are one of the most accurate rifle out of the box you can buy. Even compared to some customs out there. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

They seem to be running $430-$470 ATM.

Of your two choices I'd say Taurus, but...... like Musicman said, I'd get the M&P if I could. I just got one and really like it a lot and I've tried about all of them - SIG, Walther, XD, G19, as well as a few others. You could also hunt down a used Glock 19 or 17 for about the same as a new Sigma and have the real deal with much a better trigger etc.

- Mossy 500 - Academy sports and dicks usually have some. GFA has the desert camo "cruiser" for $360 - Rem 870 - Walmart has some for $350 - NEF/H&R Pardner Pump (870 clone made in China. Usually around $250-$350 locally) GFA and ASP in Joelton had some - $350ish - Charles Daly Field/Tactical (just got one for $200 and it is perfect for your purposes. check Gunbroker.com or Bellshire) http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/SearchResults.asp - Centerfire has a pretty good deal on Armscor 12g right now. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/rockislandm5tactical12gashotgunpartac-sgn-m5.aspx of course these are in and around Nashville and I'm sure where Reagan is. I'm sure Hero Gear has plenty of everything. there are also more expensive shottys like FN's etc, but for HD i can't see much reason for spending 1k on a 12g pump.

Aren't we forgetting the man who started it all... Tony Robbins! What a giant head!

You need to clear the cache. One of the ways it goes faster without incurring large download cost is to store img and pages for later viewing. set it to clear every so often and it will work much better.

...because that is Perfection! Now where is the dang trademark symbol?

Yeah I really like Tebow. Thought he should have won the Heisman again, but we knew that wasn't going to happen. I'm just wondering when Kirk Herbstreet will finally shut up about USC and Ohio State? Everytime these schools meet up with the SEC they get hammered. The guy obviously doesn't like the SEC, but come on. He's like footballs Chris Matthews. BTW - I have one brother and 2 sisters that Graduated from UT and one brother from Vanderbilt. My mom, dad, grandfather, and two uncles are all graduates of the University of Arkansas. I, being the black sheep, went to Arkansas State University! Gooooo SunBelt!

+1 Thank you for posting this and encourage those who don't understand this POV to use the search function. It has been discussed ad nausea in other threads. Obey the law and don't try and be the legal beagle who stayed at Holiday Inn giving legal advice to stores or any one else for that matter.

The playing is just amazing. I'm just blown away when i hear guys like that play. the sounds the get out of those things is incredible. As a guitar player I'm watching their fingers and wondering how they are making their guitars do what they are doing. I'm also reminded why most of us picked up a guitar in the first place. They make even the ugliest, nerdiest, loser of a guy look way cool! -
If you load your own bullets you may get the ideal mix of AR/AK. The accuracy issues (which aren't that big of a deal BTW) with the x39 is mostly due to bullet design. There just aren't a lot of match x39 bullets out there. It is certainly a capable concept, but I would just prefer going with the 6.8 in an AR and x39 with an AK. I think it has more upside. Either way you got a great setup and a weapon that will do what you want. enjoy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has done that! did it on my first build. didn't forget to put the stopper in just didn't get the buffer tube on it enough. I actually did it twice in a row!

Restaurants do have to post the sign along with warning pregnant women not to drink, cancer warnings, etc. Most of them are outdated, but it is what the Health Dept. looks for. They don't care if they are right or not as long as the super ego Health Inspector doesn't knock their score for it. BTW most health scores have very little to do with health and more to do with making the state money.

It was working just fine when it was mine! Maybe you should give it back and I will test it for you.... might take me a few years or until you forget about it! +1 on the Saiga IMO.
