    Can I ship in state?

Schedule a pickup and let them do the work. Again with long guns it is like shipping anything else. The difficulties come when you are shipping handguns.
  2. ...or you could get an aftermarket barrel and not worry about it. Most reports seem to be issues with the .40 as everyone has said. As long gas it is fully supported, ala XD, you shouldn't have a problem.
  3. My first XD9 (before the DIY kits) I had Springer do his thing and it was very nice. My second I used the Powder River kit with the over travel stop and it was nearly as nice. very easy to install and does exactly what it promised. There was some difference but not so much to justify the cost of shipping the gun off for the full trigger job.
  4. Sorry I assumed people would know. Put it on anything that has been sprayed, clothing, wood, etc. The solution attaches to the skunks chemical spray and neutralizes it as it oxidizes. You could put it in a spray bottle if you make it thin enough.

    Can I ship in state?

Long guns are easy. You can even use the USPS for long guns. Buy one of their triangle tube boxes and some bubble wrap ($5) take it out to the car. Stuff the gun in there, take it back in tape it up and send it for about $10. BTW Fedex is much better than UPS...ask me how I know.
  6. Mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and the chemical reaction neutralizes the smell. Only thing I know of for sure that works.
  7. I will be going for the P22 when I get a chance. From what I've read seem to be pretty good.
  8. Congrats on the HCP and the traditional trip to Walmart!
  9. Nah, like everything, Walmart stocks based on sales. A lot of stores were not making enough on their firearm division to keep them open so they selectively closed low performing divisions. There isn't a very good margin on firearms. Just ask some of the local dealers.
  10. Yeah, that was pretty cool. Neat perspective.
  11. I've always liked those. Glad you are happy.

    NEW ENGLAND FIREARMS

NEF & H&R are the same. These are 870 clones.
  13. Again facts please. Outside of Mormons and Catholics most denominations are cash poor when you look at bottom lines. Not to mention the largest and quickest response teams to natural disasters in the US are the Southern Baptist followed closely by some of the others smaller denominations. While they don't throw as much money, they offer more tangible support (people and necessities) than Red Cross and FEMA. While there is a very small and usually crooked off base group of people you see on TV, they are not representative of 99% of the church's nationwide. In fact the largest protestant denomination in the world is the Southern Baptist and the average congregation size is around 75 people. Also the average salary of full time pastors within the Southern Baptist is $32,000 per year. The average of other minister staff is around $21,000. Keep in mind that is with double the tax rate that normal employees are required to pay. While I'm sure some have been hurt by certain people within a church or church's themselves, myself more than most of you, the church is not a place for perfect people. It is the perfect place for imperfect people to work on those deficiencies. Anyway back on topic....
  14. and that's one of those old models without any child safety devices or locks! Please don't let a child in there!
  15. I don't but I too would like to know.
  16. Yeah, the forums did a different feel that day!
  17. This is widely reported to be the origin of the term "mall-ninja". While it has been posted many times and been around for a quite while, it is a terribly interesting piece of interweb history that will last forever.
  18. None so blind is he who refuses to see. Good piece.
  19. BS. The Leather part is forced against the gun by your body which pushes it into the formed Kydex part of the holster. The only way it could get loose is if you were to low ride you pants, but then you would have more than a gun flopping around to worry about! BTW mine was very uncomfortable as well. I Dremeled the top edges down to where it fit the gun profile better and it was much more comfortable. That was with a fullsize XD.
  20. While I only worked there, I can say Tunica is NO Vegas. BTW if you stay at the Grand Casino Hotel, I did the plumbing work on the outdoor pool. The hottest most miserable job I ever had!
  21. Personally I like clips a whole lot more. Easier on off, stronger/longevity (IMO), less print, etc. I also like a holster to ride as high as possible OWB and sit fairly low IWB. I also carry full size guns and like a "FBI" or forward cant. It just hides better the way I carry. I've also discovered that different body types can conceal better carrying different ways. It is truly a trial and error decision, so get a dedicated gun drwaer ready!
  22. Galco X-Project. I've never tried it but looks like it would be a good idea. It also seems to be the least bulky and fairly versatile. http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum6437.php
  23. Granted I've only dry fired a few, but the trigger was fairly nice for a DA. It was a little long but was very smooth and easy. Don't know if it is a better option than some other guns out there, but it is a nice gun IMO.
  24. I do have to admit they look better in person. I saw two this week but can't remember which shops here in town had them.
