  1. Why not slip some kids the questions. That would be priceless to see them try to answer.
  2. That's good to hear. He was just the only one i knew of meeting with the TBI and legislators. good to see folks working together!
  3. I think your Freudian slip has answered you own question!
  4. K&D Thunderbird, Comp-Tac MTAC, and I'm sure you will get many more suggestions. Enjoy discovering the right one!
  5. Hello from a guy who grew up there until he found that life isn't all that bad once you leave!
  6. According to reports, that is why TBI and the legislators backing the bill are for it. I'm sure there will be some ignorant liberal that will say its trying to make it easier for bad guys to get guns though.
  7. HB 0254 - Rabbi (not an endorsement of any kind:rolleyes:) has been spear heading an effort to get the stupid fingerprint cards done away with. These are the ones TN currently requires everyone who buys a new gun to have done at the time of sale. What do you think? BTW this is a TN thing not a federal requirement. http://www.capitol.tn.gov/Bills/106/Bill/HB0254.pdf HOUSE BILL 254 By Casada AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13, relative to the purchase and sale of firearms. Can I ship in state?

don't ask. You will find that they don't know their own policies. I have gone round and round with UPS and Fedex until finally giving up and just shipping per regulations and kept my mouth shut. Haven't had a problem yet and that is with several handguns and a few long guns. Don't want to sound like i suggesting skirting laws, you're not, just their own ignorance and paranoia. If you are smart you can follow all ATF rules and still comply with the LAW and cicumvent the hassle. PM if you need any help.
  9. Think about it this way. Government projects were going to happen one way or the other, government jobs are not the ones being cut or lost. How many teachers, judges, etc. have lost jobs? A few sure, but the biggest losses are in private business mainly small and now large business. Big corporations can afford to downsize to survive and then bounce back when times get better. Small businesses go away when they downsize. I can guarantee you no small businesses are going to get government contracts or any "stimulus". They don't contribute enough politically. One of the biggest problems with socialism is not that it "spreads the wealth" it is that it spreads the pain. As long as we continue on this path we are headed for a painful 4 years.
  10. Yeah I remember seeing his "first" return performance at some awards show a couple years back and he looked like an albino Ozzy with corn rows. He also looked like he was about 70!

Question how narcissistic do you have to be to purposefully destroy and expensive tool just for the sake of proving you own the greatest gun ever known to man?
  12. I don't see why not. With that much area it will probably take a good amount. It may be the best option because if it is that tight, power washing may be out of the question anyways.
  13. Just read the synopsis on IMDB and man! It sure seems dark and depressing.
  14. I think the point of carrying is to discourage some of the "regular visitors" from visiting the parks!
  15. HaHa, I missed the "0" as well. Yeah, get the Sig!
  16. There are people who perpetuate the theory that Walmart makes Winchester & Remington produce special, cheap, inferior loads just for them so they can undercut competitors pricing. The theory says the powder, casings, and bullets are 2nds and blemishes.
  17. Backstreet Boys!? What about the resurgence of the NKOTB! Anyway, from the reports of the last Crue show by some "I think I'm still 18 and it's 1981" folks, you'd be better off sticking you kid in front of some porn and putting their music on in the background. At least they wouldn't have to see the "ageless wonders" flashing their wonders for the band! Funny how things look different when you become "old and responsible".

    Xtreme Glock Torture

Well with all this talk about burying guns and hiding this and that, there may be some that try it! Just sayin.
  19. and thus an appeal. I really don't fully understand how all the reciprocity works, but do know states care about their interstate agreements. They are viewed similar to treaties form what I understand. I guess we will see. Carrying Wyoming isn't really a big problem though. There are still a lot of trucks with gun racks in their windows there. Ah, the good ol days of riding with your women in the middle of the bench sea, a rifle in the window, and a spotlight mounted in your drivers window.
  20. Because it makes us look like we have less serious standards an permit issuance. It wouldn't be the first time it has happened. West Virginia I think?
  21. Hmm, that's interesting. I wonder if this won't be reversed on appeal by TN?

    Xtreme Glock Torture

Yeah, there are two Glock "test" and an XD "test" that keep getting recycled. Bottom line is that they are tough and reliable like many other out there and unlike many others out there.
