  1. The difference between an AK and an AR is like the difference between a 1979 CJ-7 and a 1997 Wrangler. In a SHTF thingy, I want the CJ! That being said, I really miss my AK, but the selling price was just too good! After I get the 6.8 upper done, I'll be getting another AK..... If i still can. If not it won't matter too much. I probably couldn't get ammo for it anyway.
  2. ASP in Joelton let's you shoot your shotty in their indoor range. No slugs though.

    9mm 1911's???

While I'd like a 1911 in 9mm due to the trigger, the Hi Power is Mr Browning's perfection of the 1911 and it's designed around the 9mm. Other than that, I've heard great things about the EMP.
  4. If you have a valid permit it doesn't matter.
  5. Nice observation. I do think it is a good idea, however. am I reading it right? There are 12 million + votes?
  6. While I have absolutely no first hand experience with any of your questions (ownership wise), I'll throw my opinion out there anyway! If you are going to carry, I'd say the Glock: capacity, durability, cost, and size. However a nice 1911 is, well..... a 1911!. As far as Frontier, do a search. I've seen mainly negative comments on them. Good luck on your search!
  7. Wow I bet that's a nice one! If only I could see it what your showing.
  8. You don't have to say anything or answer any questions of any sort. Everything you say will be in the report. Give them your license and let them do their thing. after watching some of the lawyer videos and being at the academy, I'm not saying anything. Not gonna be difficult, but if I'm under arrest I'm not saying a word. BTW a traffic stop is an arrest.
  9. Hope she wasn't six yrs old! I saw that a while back and it moves me everytime I hear it. I also like the phone salesman that looks really out of place till he sings and then it's.....WOW!
  10. Get an ACE skeleton folding stock with the internal receiver block. http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67&products_id=417 This pistol grip or the CAA G27 grip. http://www.cdnninvestments.com/akpigrnewism.html and these for handguards. http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67&products_id=580 and this for a scope mount. http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=75&products_id=732 and I like these flash hiders/brakes http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=76&products_id=339 It will look something like this.

    My new Glock

Nice. Glad you feel like you got a good price. IT's a rarity there.
  12. +1! Even if it is true it is still a false market increase. Kinda like a faux inflation.
  13. Don't know if they are must haves but on the two 19's I've had/have I added grip plugs, Ghost Ultimate 3.5 trigger kit, and smooth face trigger. Must have are more mags.
  14. Nice steelharp. I could never get into this new stuff they call country, but i sure like the old (real) country music. Very nice. If you are worried about your weight, you might want to avoid shirts with arrows pointing to your gut!
  15. I bet they will justify it with the new cost of the so called "stimulus" bill.

    AK Pistol

Yeah, you basically weld a back plate to the receiver. If you rear trunnion has the top tang, you will have to cut/mill it off. The good thing is even with the rear tang cut you could still take the back plate off and still use an Ace internal block and rear stock. Of course you would have to ignore BATF laws to convert it back though!
  17. ....... but, as we all know technicalities don't always make you "right" if you get the wrong officer interpreting the law. Just sayin.
  18. Well I finally found a PF9 to add to the mix, sooo, it will now be added to the Glock 19.
  19. How have I missed this? I've been looking for a way to justify a trip. THis can be it.
  20. Looking good! I think you will find the balance will be a lot better when you get that trigger and pistol grip moved where it's supposed to be. Can't wait to see the Chaos rail.
  21. as long as it's the back door, he's probably OK with that!
  22. I gotta agree with Mike on this one. Not because zeitgeist post itself is that bad, but every since he has been here he has a seemingly overt racist tendency. Obama's, race or lack thereof, is not an issue. However the content of his character is.
  23. I suggest you use it! Nothing like baling and loading some square bales in the middle of the summer to make you feel alive! Seriously sale that baby.
