I've been approached by quite a few family members about the whole process. Some are ready to go and others are a little hesitant. Not out of fear but just a little apathy I think. I've also noticed how much the conversations on the topic have picked up in general. A lot of folks at church are asking questions and many are in the process or have just gotten their permits. It's great talking to new HCP holders about holster recommendations and guns before Sunday School! A modern day parable of Ephesians 6:10-18!

I watched the entire vote and all except 3 (I think) were by Hardaway. He had to make little speeches before every little amendment and then withdrew the majority of them. It was really annoying.

I remember my late grandfather telling me about when he was teaching a seminar on agriculture and economics to government heads and educators of former soviet block countries at the University of Kiev in the Ukraine. He said the thing that amazed him the most was when he started talking about profitability in agriculture. He said that when they started talking about profits, hands went up all over. He spent the next hour explaining what a profit was and how you need to take in more money than you spend. He spent extensive time in the Ukraine and Argentina trying to get their cattle herds up and he would tell us all the time that they just don't get it. the socialist indoctrination is so deep it is hard to get rid of.

I think one of the most telling stats is the divorce rate among LE. My brief stint in I could tell it would be psychological, ethically, and spiritually draining for all the reason above. First off, socialism was a relatively benign term used for centuries to refer to many different things. It was Marx who made a popular and relevant term when speaking of politics and societal order. You are correct that socialism is not Communism. However, Socialism inevitably leads to governmental oppression in one or more of several forms of Government organization - Fascism, Communism, China's current hybrid, but all end with dicatators because someone has to be the ultimate arbotor. Wester judeo Christian sociatal organization is based on the fundamental principals of absolute truths/freedoms and mans free will. We are slowly changing those fundamentals and so the decay you see is as follows. What non- judeo christian societies use as a foundation tend to secular humanism and so man has to be the one who determines absolutes. So far no one has done that very well. Of course all this is mute becasue facts have already been discussed and ideas shared and yet you pose yet another sci-fi book explanation for why Crotia and socialism is so much better. BTW the Croats/Serbs/Gauls/Western Mongols have a very poor track record for governance and staying out of conflicts. In fact I do believe it is out of that region that every major conflict in modern history has originated, even going back as far as Alexander the Great.;) "None so blind as he who refuses to see." and that is why socialist contries can't get it together.

Again you miss the point. folks here were not happy about the original TARP or bailout as was most Americans. Polls (take them with a grain of salt) show that and were not even close. The "regulations" are what caused all this mess in the first place. Trying to interject even infantile socialism is what has led to these failures. Same as what happened in the 20's/30's. The Auto industry + government forced union contracts, cafe standards, etc = massive failure. Banks/lending + government forced loans, and loan guideline = MASSIVE failure. Only thing I like is the Classified Rating. It is much easier to use than posting +1 stuff in another forum, but I much prefer the old listing way.

They look a little wider in the trigger guard and around the top. I do like the grip tang that puts you hand a little lower. BTW i saw these over on AR15.com but couldn't find anything else about them.

On the home page in the "Online" status box some peoples names have "+" after them. What does that mean? I also see it in my user profile in the box that tells me who has visited my profile.

I went to Specialty Arms once about a month or two ago and my experience was pleasant. Prices were decent and they had a fairly large assortment of stuff. Gun City is a "never will I go again" store. Can't stand them or the dungeon. Prices are awful, selection is non existent, and the dungeon is just dangerous.
