  1. to claim middle ground you sure see things in the extreme. BTW everything you said is what Rush Limbaugh says. If you think Limbaugh is ultra right your not as conservative as you think. This is exactly why conservatives loose ground. We are TOO independent. So much so that we have a hard time finding the middle ground with other conservatives. Not that we should equivocate or compromise but their has to be some smarts involved.
  2. I thought Hero Gear had some? Might try there.
  3. I just got my upper and a new free float HG. The bad part is I just moved and all my tools are somewhere in a box and I won't have a bench vise for sometime. Is there anyone close to Nashville that could help me get these things on? Thanks:D
  4. I'd say somewhere between $100-$300.
  5. It is a well known fact that the .357 SIG will make young girls faint and grown women cry in face of your manliness! Seriously though, your 9mm +p load is probably running very close to the .357 SIG - with the exception of the hotter specialty .357 loads.
  6. Cause a ninjas gotta accessories!
  7. Already been done. The military has everything from "live fire" towns with explosives built in to CQB shooting house. Here is a link I found interesting. Also the Military Channel will run episodes on these from time to time and they are really cool. AIS - Shooting Ranges and Military Training Facilities - Army Technology
  8. Actually our forefathers did. That is why voting was limited mainly to land owners. If you can't prioritize your life around investment, you shouldn't be able to manage the investments of the country.
  9. 25 to 30 mag difference, but you don't need as many extra shots to take down your target. I had Cardinal/Ko-tonics upper a couple years ago and sold it (shouldn't have). Just picked up a new Stag upper. The 6.8 is far superior to the 5.56 in every way except at extreme range, but at distance the 5.56 doesn't do anything anyway. Here are some of the links i use for info. http://68forums.com/forums.php 6.8SPC FAQ
  10. Yeah, but clothing is about the only barrier it's gonna penetrate.
  11. .357 SIG? If so get another M&Pc .40, XDc .40, or Glock 23 and you can get a conversion barrel and have both! Personally, I like the .357 SIG but +P or +p+ 9mm gets me all the same benefits with more carrying capacity. That being said if you are going up in size (case size) I'd go with a .40.
  12. Gold Dots do poorly in every test I have seen ( in comparison to newer offerings) and tend to "clog" pretty significantly. BTW - I should add this is in 9mm. Other calibers may fair better.
  13. Just proof the politicians care more about the bottom line than performance. GD are very outdated.
  14. I'll be downtown Nashville.

    My murse!

Two guys meeting for drinks and one of them is carrying a man purse? I didn't peg you that way!
  16. Everyone I have ever heard about that has one loves them, but I'll never have one... due to price. In my mind I could buy at least one if not more guns for the cost of one ACOG. Now if I was going to war, absolutely!

Uh, no, not this one. It is a shoulder bag. The Colossus is though.
  18. That would be criminal vandalism. If it were my property you might have a shotgun in your face. I doubt your buddies would want to block for you then.

Naw I don't. However, it's not as big as I thought it would be which I think is good. IMO it is ideal for traveling. I wish I had had one the couple time I was overseas. It is secure, comfortable, and holds everything I could want to carry for any extended period of time. I liked this one over the Fatboy because it is bigger and has the Nalgene water bottle pocket, must have for overseas where you have to carry your own water. Here's some pics from Maxpeditions website.
  20. IN addition to the what I have: Browning Hi-Power .40 with 9mm conversion Glock 19 Mossy 500 6.8 AR I would add: MSAR 6.8 and 5.56 UZI SMG True Russian AK (fully) Walther P99 QA (9mm) FN FNP-9 SAO

    My murse!

I've always had issues with carrying in my vehicle and was looking for something that would work better than what I'm doing now. If my G19 is holstered the seatbelt interferes and drawing is really difficult. If I sit it in the seat next to me it is exposed and slides all over. If I wedge it in between the seat it is close but tends to fall in the floorboard. Well, I finally picked up a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack to accommodate my vehicle needs. I gotta say it works great. I can keep my handgun close, easily accessible, and concealed by sitting the Versipack in the passenger seat. It is also a great alternative to the diaper bag my wife wants me to carry! I gotta say it is also great for keeping all my stuff together and has pockets for all the stuff that used to take up my pockets and ...... well, anyway here is my man purse!
  22. What was the deal last night. Neither sites would come up at all from about 0000 to 0800?
  23. I gotta say, in my limited time in the Academy and riding around with some LE you guys do some great work. I can also understand the cynical nature that could arise very quickly and yet most stay professional. Thanks for a job well done. BTW - I hate "love fest" stuff, but I absolutely can't stand the LE bashing that some folks can't seem to get past.
  24. While I think it is cheesy, this thing is awesome as far as workmanship.
