  1. I've had two DT's are they are very good. I currently have a 6.8 Stag I haven't fired yet but I like it a lot already. The M4 ramps are really irrelevant on the 5.56 semi and won't make much difference. From what I've read the M4 ramps are really only a necessity in auto/burst and in some of the other caliber variants. Both companies are backed up. DT i think is 13 wks and Stag is 6 mo. so that's a a plus for DT. You can get more customization with the DT for less.

Here's another link for the P64. BTW I've had a Bulgy mak and the P-64 (not a mak clone BTW) and I like the P-64 better as a gun. The Mak has a lot more available parts though. The Unofficial P-64 Resource
  3. Finally finished my 6.8 build. Stag upper, Sabre lower, Magpul CTR (mil-spec), Millet DMS-1, YHM Customizable FF (specter length), YHM lo-pro gas block. Not pictured: YHM flip-up rear BUIS, Smith Vortex FH, Harris bi-pod. A big thanks to a local gunsmith for his help. I just moved and didn't have my vise or a bench to put it on and not only did he remove the barrel nut (all I asked BTW) he went ahead and assembled everything for me while I waited. Cost me a whole $20 and 20 minutes of talking to Kahrman! In contrast, I had gone up north (Springfield) and the guy wanted $85 and a 3 week wait. In all honesty I think he had plenty to keep him going and didn't need my little job, but I would have appreciated him just saying so.
  4. I'm gonna say any place that has it! I stopped by Academy this AM and they had a bunch behind the counter. It was the Monarch brand which always worked for me.
  5. Mine before it got run over! Not fancy but it was a great first bike and was a blast to commute on!
  6. Just now getting yours, huh?!
  7. I would love to see Ann speak. While her style is pretty in your face, she is dead on when it comes to understanding and articulating conservatism.

I've only had the P64 but have handled the PA63. I much prefer the P64 - once you change the springs and lower the DA trigger pull from 20lbs! That first shot can be a beast.
  9. It's a repost and I think it was proved to be made up. Sad part is I can see it happening.
  10. So is she for it or against it!?
  11. I just don't know what to say about that and I'm white with a black sister and a hispanic sister-in-law.
  12. Renasant Bank. I am a big supporter of local banks that know who you are when you come in. They also don't charge ME any fees for THEM using my money. Novel concept.
  13. What's the story on the Charter Arms 2000? I'm looking at the 442/642 equivalents from other manufactures, mainly for cost considerations. Basically I've seen Taurus, S&W, Ruger, and Charter Arms. Any others?
  14. What is the difference in the 442 and 642? The S&W numbering is incredibly confusing to me.
  15. My dad has decided he wants to get his HCP and is going to be getting a carry gun pretty soon. He has used guns since he was a kid and has a Rossi .357 Mag ATM, but I think he will want a small pocket type gun. He's not going to clean it a lot or go through a massive holster search whether IWB or OWB. I'm thinking a good pocket revolver, which I have no experience with. It also needs to be fairly simple and economical. What say you?
  16. While no where near the same length as your license issue, when I move I use the add on my license so I don't have an issue. Technically they have to match (license and form)
  17. Here's the UN in Africa - applies equally to NK
  18. My only complaint is they didn't get the last guy! I just hope he doesn't turn into some political show.
  19. I'd say America is better than Croatia, Russia, Mexico, all of South America, Africa, .... well, pretty much anywhere else. I think they agree cause they all want to come here. You call it arrogant. I call it reality. Better is factual. Better economics, civil liberty, freedom, opportunity, safety, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and almost everything else. even with our negatives America is a superior system (at least ATM:() BTW it is better exactly because of what you stated. We believe that all are created equal and have a right to the pursuit of happiness.
  20. Nice deal!
  21. Looks good. Another cheap upgrade is a better grip. I hate the standard grip. Here is the one I have used on my AR's and AK's. I also noticed Barrett is using them on their new .338 Lapua the 98Bravo AR-15 Grip Pistol New Israeli MFG
  22. Yeah our early history is really full of corruption and mediocrity compared to now. I prefer what took us up as opposed to what is taking us down. No wonder America didn't become great till FDR. Seriously IWB, OWB, and Maxpedition off body.
  23. as a charitable act, I will gladly take the ACOG for testing on my AR until yours arrives. However, I can't promise it won't get "stolen" in the mean time.
  24. That's what I'm saying! Now what was this thread about?
  25. You are following it exactly. Those are the questions that have to be answered. The original, simple statement was our forefathers thought being a landowning, taxpaying individual meant a vote because they had an incentive for the good our the country as a whole. I think the principal is solid. Those who have no input (investment- ie taxes, business, ownership, ect.) have little incentive to make sure government is checked, balanced and answerable to the people for the good of the nation. Those who only take, will only vote to take more.
