  1. hmm, a hunger strike to protest their hunger and then guy eats his finger to prove it? Wow, Tea Parties got nothing on these guys.
  2. Put one of the Ace skeleton stock on it! I think they look really good and don't look too ARish.
  3. get one of the Tromix DIY trigger guards. Makes everything a whole lot easier. Tromix Do-It-Yourself Saiga 12 Trigger Guard - $45.00 : Mississippi Auto Arms, Inc ::, Your Source for Saiga, AK47, AR15, Tromix, Glock, and SKS firearms and accessories
  4. I for one am glad I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Only thinking I know about hacking is that Angelina Jolie was in it!
  5. How in the world did this guy ever get any political clout at all? Doesn't he know all those weapons he has shoot bullets that will penetrate the protective clothing of police officers and kill them and the people they protect? Noooo, everybody knows hunting guns are designed to only kill the animals they hunt! BTW Jimmy there is a threat to 2A! Just ask the Brits and Aussies how they lost their rights and 2A has nothing to do with hunting!
  6. Some go better than others. My 7.62x39 was easy and the 12g was a miserably hard booger to get done. It also depends on how far you go. If you do a full blown conversion with welds and such it can be a little more work than someone wants or can do.
  7. You are correct.
  8. nothing to use at all. Just give it or sell it. That is assuming he is in TN. If not then yes you will have to take it to a dealer in his state and he will do the transfer for you.
  9. CDNN is great but you gotta factor in the $15 shipping . Cope's has the KCI's for $12 and the factory mags for $24. I was finding Glocks to be (with shipping and/or tax)) $28-$32. So yes, nearly 2-4-1.
  10. I asked these same questions and got the same answers. Then I researched them for myself and found that there are several that are about equally good man stoppers. HSTs and Ranger-T's are particularly good. That being said I also got a deal from Ammotogo on the Fed Tac LE +p+ and will use them as well, but mainly 124g +p HST or the same in Ranger-Ts.
  11. I've got 6 of them and they all work great. They are stiff at first but load them and let them sit for a while and they will be fine. The only thing I don't care for is the little metal tab at the top front of the mag body. That little booger is sharp and is irritating when they are new.
  12. I liked how the lady made it a moral issue of them running out of chicken. "It just isn't right!"

    uh, don't ask don't tell!
  14. I better go stock up so I can sell it for $10.99!
  15. Well as of 1950 the ad no longer exist.
  16. Oleg does great work! I love his pictures. BTW the SEBR isn't bad either!
  17. I just don't get it. These guys buying up multiple cases and hoarding? do they really think they are going to make money off the stuff? Seriously, if there is a ban or tax i guarantee you it will apply to them and hurt them even more since they bought at retail to begin with. I hope they get burned and then come on the forums and whine about how they are having financial issues. I get so aggravated going into a store and can't even get a box or two, which is my usual habit. That being said I got one of the four boxes of WWB .40 value packs and the guy behind me got the rest. That was the Rivergate Walmart. Clerk said they don't limit cause it doesn't last more than an hour. I said that's why you need to limit it.
  18. Have you tried the classified section? There is a XDm available there. You may also want to post this there instead of here.
  19. as I'm reading through the article this link pops out in red. What in the world! Mr. Cool?! I guess the tingly feelings are still going.
  20. I've had two DT's are they are very good. I currently have a 6.8 Stag I haven't fired yet but I like it a lot already. The M4 ramps are really irrelevant on the 5.56 semi and won't make much difference. From what I've read the M4 ramps are really only a necessity in auto/burst and in some of the other caliber variants. Both companies are backed up. DT i think is 13 wks and Stag is 6 mo. so that's a a plus for DT. You can get more customization with the DT for less.

Here's another link for the P64. BTW I've had a Bulgy mak and the P-64 (not a mak clone BTW) and I like the P-64 better as a gun. The Mak has a lot more available parts though. The Unofficial P-64 Resource
  22. Finally finished my 6.8 build. Stag upper, Sabre lower, Magpul CTR (mil-spec), Millet DMS-1, YHM Customizable FF (specter length), YHM lo-pro gas block. Not pictured: YHM flip-up rear BUIS, Smith Vortex FH, Harris bi-pod. A big thanks to a local gunsmith for his help. I just moved and didn't have my vise or a bench to put it on and not only did he remove the barrel nut (all I asked BTW) he went ahead and assembled everything for me while I waited. Cost me a whole $20 and 20 minutes of talking to Kahrman! In contrast, I had gone up north (Springfield) and the guy wanted $85 and a 3 week wait. In all honesty I think he had plenty to keep him going and didn't need my little job, but I would have appreciated him just saying so.
  23. I'm gonna say any place that has it! I stopped by Academy this AM and they had a bunch behind the counter. It was the Monarch brand which always worked for me.
  24. Mine before it got run over! Not fancy but it was a great first bike and was a blast to commute on!
  25. Just now getting yours, huh?!
