  1. The only pistol I had in .357 SIG was a FN Hi-power. 40 converted to .357 SIG. Shot like a dream! A highly unusual combo that proved to be awesome. Ammo cost was my only reason for sticking with 9mm. I also found I can get similar results of the .357 SIG in 9mm +p and +p+. Call me a poor man .357 SIG lover!
  2. Good call. I used the Ace stock on my Saiga AK conversion and a NATO length K-Var stock on my Saiga 12. If I had the money I would have gone for the Ace Skeleton internal block combo on the 12 as well.
  3. Springfield did that with the XD too. Both of those would would be perfect in a compact size (mid size), especially the M&P.
  4. I really liked my M&P9. Only reason I went to the G19 was the slightly smaller size just works better as an EDC. I'm still hoping they make a mid size M&P. If they do I will be going back to the M&P shortly.
  5. If it is like Montana and some other states pushing for it, it mainly only pertains to silencers, SBR, and stuff like that. full auto's are still prohibited under the state governance.
  6. She does do great work. I had the same grips except on Ivory wood on the hi-power that magic now has. I really liked those grips.
  7. and that's the problem. Their policy says they will as long as it conforms with the Fed regs, but most reps will disagree at the counter. I gone even so far to talk to their legal department and they acknowledge their policy but hold up the counters choice in what they will ship and what they won't.
  8. Technically? Yes per BATF. However some have used cleaver alternative names for firearms to try and play the fringe. Don't know how legal or illegal that would be, but thats how it is. Now if it does not contain the serialized part then technically it is not a firearm, so that would not have to be declared. Some have even tried shipping a firearm "inoperable" by removing the firing pin etc. Again not saying what to do just letting you know what others have interepreted the laws to be. Do a search and you will find many threads on this subject and how others have managed shipping.
  9. Yes, but getting the carriers to do it is the trick. None will without a little cleaver maneuvering and an employee who actually knows their own policies. Transfers only have to happen when crossing state lines.
  10. I'm no cigar buff, but my brother's restaurant has a private cigar club if anyone is interested. It's the Standard at the Smith House downtown and it has the good stuff! You can PM me if you want to try it out.
  11. Congratulations! Don't worry, the "I feel like a criminal" and "everybody is staring at me" wears off.
  12. If they are in my backyard it will not be pleasant. Makes me wish I still had my Great Pyrenees!
  13. Mike Malloy is an idiot. Not much else you can say. As usual for liberal/socialist, he is his accusations.
  14. Walmart has a nifty little range bag that I use for the range. It was fairly cheap was well.
  15. That makes sense. I guess it function over form. I could live with that.
  16. Of course here he would sue and us taxpayers would be paying out millions to the sucker. Good for the Spanish.
  17. a picture or link would be nice;)
  18. I really like those. If and when they get the 6.8 out I'd be even more interested!
  19. Well not really, but it would sure be cool. Joe let us know how it works when you get one! Airtronic USA China Lake Pump-Action 40mm Grenade Launcher System for Special Operations
  20. Don't let it ruffle your feathers. Now you get to be called a Yankee, liberal, redneck, hick who marries his cousins and keeps his wife barefoot and pregnant. Best of both worlds.

    UAE Caracal pistols

Already done. GLR17 / 440 Tactical Stock for Glock: Mako Security, Inc.
  22. No ugly screws or difficult rivets to work with. Has the stop built in. The big one is if you receiver was not already cut for the PG you don't have to cut the hole. Which is a little tedious to say the least. It looks professional and not all hacked up like some I've seen.
  23. HeHe!
