BTW building something nobody wants is worse than sitting on inventory nobody wants.

and the merger would mean a momentary resuming of production until it all falls apart....... indefinitely? Maybe the auto industry need to get its eyes checked. hmmm?
  3. Morally justifiable? Morally required. Freedom is allowed so that the betterment of mankind can be decided by men. the consequences of a person/buisness actions is huge. You make good decisions you're rewarded. You make bad decisions, you are punished. It is much more effective to punish/reward in society by society as opposed to an unjust political system that is easily bent towards corruption. Is it any different for a person not to eat at a restaurant that serves awful food? According to your thinking, it is wrong to "protest" a restaurant solely on their decision/freedom to cook how they want.
  4. 2005 Ford Explorer. Got a great deal on it.
  5. This thread has drifted to all kinds of wrong!
  6. Personally i don't care. Our place isn't the type of place that is going to see any difference. I don't think OC is the best thing for a myriad of reason's that have been debated before, just saying that making restaurants the battle ground probably doesn't give us the most leverage for future battles. I see restaurants as a battle (an important one no doubt) within the larger war for personal freedom and constitutionality.
  7. As a member of a family in the fine dinning business, I gotta agree with the OP. It is similar to someone drawing attention to themselves politically or any other way. we want folks to be able to come and enjoy their experience the way they envision it. Not the way others would want to subject them to. We have a lot of the capitol hill folks (Yes, even those I can't stand and we rail on here) and I have small talked with them and enjoyed their company for the most part. They don't carry their poltics OC and everything is fine. I'm not advocating compramise, just saying their are places to fight and places to just be people. Restraunts aren't the best place to fight for constitutional rights....... Especially since we are presently winning!
  8. I know there are some here who know exactly what that could be (BTW IDWK!) but I can't even imagine a scenario in which all those details could be enjoyable. I can't even see a murder situation that could be constructed that way.
  9. It's been awhile, but I think all it takes is a semi auto trigger group, and semi safety lever. The problem is that the FA will have the third hole already drilled which is a huge problem with the ATF. Once that hole is there it drop in TG and play. I assume you could weld the hole and be alright. I know some of the Saiga's come with the pattern X already pressed but not drilled and a lot of guys covet those.
  10. Thanks. It was INXS lead singer. Mental lapse there.
  11. It reminds me of Cheap Tricks lead singer. He died by "accidentally" hanging himself during some off kilter "fun". Sad really.
  12. I think this has officially become the lets boost our post count thread! I think some of you guys went from 100 to 1000 in 2 days! J/K It is good to see so much enthusiasm over a political issue. If only we could channel this in a unified direction during elections!
  13. Not posted. carried there just fine back in March.
  14. I wonder if they will have a peer review of the study.... if anyone even knows what that is!
  15. That's not true! One of them got on the internet and googled it during the debate before he spoke.
  16. Done with the regular calender.... so are we about to find out something?
  17. Here are a few more of mine. The 3 in the middle are custom made. The middle two by my dad and the bottom by Vic Wilson. My dad did all the engraving and decorative work. Pardon the dirt, they've been neglected in the move.
  18. Mags are an issue. The newer more curved ones seem to have fixed the problem. My main issue is that ammo cost is such that the caliber and platform no longer have anything to offer when combined. It's like dropping a Cummings diesel in a Ferrari. It just doesn't make sense. Even 5.45 is getting to be null as well. If you want a cheaper alternative get a .22 conversion. If you want something with better power than 5.56 go with 6.8 or 6.5. If you just like x39 (I do) get an AK while you can.
  19. Haslam is a good honest guy, but not exactly in line with my train of thought on things politically. I wouldn't support him and he is a family friend. Thompson.. absolutely. Ramsey and Wamp.... pretty sure I could go for either of them.
  20. He won't go to Israel but will promise Jerusalem to the Arabs, Hillary attends the swearing in of Funes in El Salvador (communist rebel anti-American guerrilla leader) and talk about how much he and Obama have in common, support Iran, bow to Saudi Kings, apologize to every muslim he can find, and still there are those who will argue the sky is green.
  21. I got a little bit of everything in a Millet DMS-1. They have received great reviews on the interweb. It can be used as a red dot/holo type scope or power up anywhere to x4 for any distance stuff you may need. They also are available for right at $200. That leaves room for a really nice ADM Recon or Larue mount of your choice.
  22. That looks vaguely familiar:D You did a great job on it. The more I see those Ace stocks the more I like them. Especially on the 12. It just fits.
  23. Now that would get ugly........unfortunately.
