Based on what? The 50+ years of restraint in the face of out right hostilities? Oh, that every country were so measured.

Do remember we only see what is not edited. Sometimes when i see those "missing" clips from shows (not just this one) it changes the feel quite a bit. Just saying.

1. Saddam's WMD<br>have been found 2. August 29, 2005 on boortz.com 3.Iraq and weapons of mass destruction - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yeah I know that, but is it plasti-dip or what?

Man, I've been ignoring this thread. You are correct they have said no weapons, the fatwa, etc. but then in the same topic of nuclear power (undefined) that Israel must be wiped off the face of the earth etc. Their is only one way to do that nuclear. They have developed the carrier missles and targeting systems thanks to Russia, France, and Germany (same as Iraq). To take them at their word and not their actions is like Leroy said, not wise. as far as no WMD you again may want to check you facts on that one. We did indeed find several stockpiles of chemical and biological agents, production facilities, etc. Was Iraq maybe faking a little to project more power to the other Arab nations? Possibly, but everyone - even those who didn't agree with us - though it was true. We also know that 60k dead Kurdish as well as many dead Iranians would testify that he not only had them but used them to great effect. If a guy is holding me up at gunpoint I'm gonna asume the gun is loaded. If after I find out it was empty.... well, that's not my concern or problem. There were mistakes made no doubt, but again that is what happens in war. If the media had been around in WWII, Patton, Montgomery, and every other great general wouldn't have lasted a month. War is an ugly imperfect science based on deception, misinformation, propaganda, fear, power, death, ect. It is far from clean and surgical as some arm chair generals like to think.

So I've had about every gun that has tennifer/melonite and I have noticed a difference between the rest and Glock. The Glock has almost a plastic texture resilience to the slide that other tenniferd guns don't. My question is what gives it that Glock plasti-dip type feel. I really like it. I have a new Walther P99 that has Tennifer and it feels more like an XD, M&P, or the others with the same treatment. So other than PERFECTION! what makes the Glock different?

Personally I hate the show. I think it has become exploitive, granted by their permission, and I just don't like those shows anyway. That being said it is always sad when families struggle. It is even sadder when they can't handle their own business without a press conference and a special episode, regardless of who's to blame. They need to get off TV for their own survival. Really is sad all around.

You just keep opening your mouth to remove the doubt..... Iran has stated numerous times they desire a bomb. There is nothing Israel can do after the fact.

The problem with N Korea is China is using them as a buffer against us. It is a way to undermine and open another front and allow them deniability. NK does not exist without China. It also allows them to keep pressure on Japan and Tawain so that China can dominate the region. To take care of NK you have to go to war against China and no one wants that. It is a chess game for the ages miltarily and diplomacy speaking. Iran is different. They are backed by Russia (mainly) and can be dealt with since Russia and other Europeans countries supporting her behind the curtains can not afford a direct or indirect conflict (they are currently engaged in that in Iraq) and will probably bow out if all out war happened. The Israleis dealt with Saddams threat by simply sending one bomber to take out their facilities. Game over. We can do that easily with Iran but we (US) would have to deal with even more Arab ire. The best way is to let loose the Israelis and let them take care of their own buisness and let us hold the secondaries at bay.

I'd rather give it to Croatia than Ted Kennedy! J/K......... sort of.

I think I saw those on RENO 911!

If you sight in for 200 yrds the drop on the 6.8 110g is roughly 100-1.4", 200-0", & 300-8.1". Very simliar to the .308 which is one of it's advantages. Your are right on the x39, but the 6.8 is effective out to under 400 yrds although most will say 300 yrds for confidence sake. On the 6.8 forums guys have taken elk out to 250 which is pretty good IMO and well over what is advertised. Also an advantage of the 6.8 is that is is designed for short barrels. You only gain a few ft per sec. with a 20" as opposed to a 16" barrel.

Evidently Iver Johnson started making them under the name Cadet and when Colt took over, Iver Johnson wouldn't release the cadet name. From what I could find it was simply called Colt 22, but most referred to it as the Cadet as to not be so ambiguous.

Yeah, that last quote was very interesting logic.

Regular people don't see any of that money! It stays in Nairobi, or worse Mombasa (which is more Arab than African). Me and my family have spent quite a bit of time there and the political mess is truly a sight to see. Like kids running the playground except less efficient and more ruthless. When I went in 2000 they had just had an election and the incumbent president printed up a couple million Kenyan dollars to pay for votes. Needless to say he won but the exchange rate went from 1:9 to 1:110! Great for us bad for them. BTW - gotta see "Ghost in the Darkness". It's about the lions of Tsavo during the British colonial period in Kenya.

That's how Noth Korea got their nuclear weapons. Bill Clinton sold them the centrifuges and a few other things under the guise they wouldn't make weapons. How long did it take them? Just as long as they could get them operational. The problem with Iran is they are in range of all of Europe and Israel which they have stated numerous times it target one.

I know what you are saying but I have a harder time with the guys like S&W & Ruger etc. selling us out on gun control issues then trying to play patriotic. It didn't really help their bottom line either.

Not many hogs here in TN. Wish there were though. My brother used to go in Mississippi and they used dogs and knives!

The ones that mean the most to me: Marlin Golden trigger lever action .22 and a Savage 30-30 bolt action that was originally my great grandfathers. The .22 was the first gun my dad every took us hunting with and it was mostly for fun and plinking although a lot of squirrels got shot at with it! The 30-30 has been kinda of the family hunting rifle for along long time. I'm guessing my great grandfather got one of the first made when they came out. It has taken a lot of deer and still looks and shoots great. I even have some of the original ammo from the 60's for it.

BTW they don't even qualify for rights under the Geneva convention.

We need a chart with where we can and where we can't carry and when they become effective. My mind hurts just trying to get caught up.

I prefer the QA design myself. Something about that initial trigger set on the AS was odd to me. Wish I could say. Haven't had a chance to get it out yet. If it shoot haalf as good as my previous one, I think I'll like it.

It is justyou. BTW you may want them to check the reactor. It may be leaking close to your water supply.
