Ralph he also left out the requirements of assistance that Paul laid out for widows and the needy in the church letters as well as Jesus teachings of working and the results of not doing so.Not to mention the levitical mandates on the issue. Not to sound hard but Christians and liberals love to tout mercy and judicial blindness and leave responsibility and consequences unmentioned. Probably for self presevation. To be wholly one or the other is as immoral as doing neither. You can not have one without the other. To do so would be to deny the very person of God himself. That being said this has nothing to do with health care. It is not immoral to expect people to be wise and prudent. Is food a right? I use it more and need it more than I ever will health care. Do I buy food insurance or expect someone else to provide it when I don't have what I think I should? Is it immoral when I have to buy Walmarts Value brand instead of the Hagen Das like the "rich" people do? The answer is no and it sounds absurd to think this way...... yet here we are. Health care is a service like no other, but a service none the less. It is not a right, it is not my job to provide it for you, and I reject the notion that the government has ANY role in it.

Yes, it is their fault on both accounts. To say i lost my job their was nothing I could do, is assinine. Do people not plan ahead in case the unfortunate happens? No most of these folks spend like their current income will last. Statistically American spend on average 114% of our income. Who's fault is it they did not plan ahead? Mine? Why should I have to pay for somebodies lack of planning? I live in a small house, work 2-3 jobs, and self insure. I plan ahead for my family not yours. Now there are cases where no amount of planning could cover the loss. Ideally in those cases you would hope there would be famileis to help out, church's to assist and MANY do, I handle it daily. Short story with a good example. I was recoding a depositions the other day and during the break teh two lawyers and former healthcare CEO (deposed) were discussing how different young lawyers are today. They said in the old days it was cuthroat with everyone trying to make partner because that was the only true job security they had. Nowdays they want to be mid level employees and feel entitled to cushy intern jobs right out of law school. I found it immensly interesting to hear them discuss the difference in employee attitude of the current genereation. This is the problem with helathcare, housing, economy, etc. Unmotivated, sel righteous, entitled, softies, who think life shouldn't hurt and they deserve more than what their parents had

I use CLP and really like it. I tried using some of the Jig-A-Loo dry spray lube and seemed to work really well until my last range visit. It had been a month or so since I had last used the spray and at the range I noticed what seemed to be tiny white particles everywhere. When i would shoot I would get a blast of smoke/gas, as usually, and then a dusting of this white stuff. It appears as if it particulated and just made a mess. I would stick with CLP, Militec-1, or Rem Oil.

Looks good except for the buttstock. Something about it doesn't seem to fit in my mind. Very nice idea though. The one on the left is very nice.

Being in the industry (2nd job) there are a lot of folks you gotta watch out for. On the other hand a lot of the older guys are retired LEO, correctional, or military guys who do know what they are doing and sometimes come across as LE because that's their default training. The biggest problem is the industry is rapidly growing and demand is higher than ever. A lot of these companies will hire just about anyone and starting a salary at 9 hr isn't going to get the best of employees. Think of it like Walmart employees working in security! (inside joke)

I bet Sabre would. Of course I think every part has to be made in Tennesse?

I think we've jumped the shark on this one. -
No offense but your friend is an idiot (no offense). The stats show only a marginal difference between 9 and .45, for what the stats are worth. As far as the trade the XD is a far better gun than the Ruger. Not that there is anything wrong with the Ruger just different classes. The SW40 would be a step back IMO, from both the Ruger and XD mainly due to the aweful trigger. Especially for range use. PS - don't State Troopers use .357 SIG? A 9mm bullet with +p+ velocity.

HaHa, good try but they aren't backwards. the "points" are supposed to be primers without showing the rim. The problem with the graphic is that the cases are too long and there aren't any bullets. Now back to the thread.

It was an x-ray that the guy added shell casings to to add color and dimension.... and Eagles really have wings colored like Old Glory! hypocrite!

I'll play devils advocate.... a little. I can understand the change being a little annoying to some of the more casual members. However, on the other hand this is probably not the way to air this kind of grievance and I think the responses prove that.

Curious. I though it was a lot more compact than i though it would be. It is a tad heavier than some others. Are you comparing it to sub-compacts or compact/duty guns? It looks a lot more proportional in person. I think it is the angle of the pictures. Part of it is the gun itself is rather compact and the trigger guard is more regular sized and that may be what makes it look larger than it is.
-
Anyone handled one or have one? I got to handle one today at GOA and it was Ohhhhh so nice! It is definitely on my next buy list. First impressions were that the trigger was really good in both DA and SA. I really like that you switch the decocker out for a traditional safety and use it as a SA (cocked and locked) and still have restrike capability. I was also surprised how compact it was for a "duty" gun. Seemed on par with a G19 size wise, which I think is perfect for CC. Now I gotta start saving again!

I've heard that bear is extremely oily/greazy and not everyone can handle it. Everything I've ever read about bear hunting has used bait, so I am curious as well.

I'm kind of curious to see the revenue number for today. Could be interesting if they are significantly higher than on average, the same, or lower.

No guns allowed in parks in Williamson County nor Brentwood
Smith replied to threeshot's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The children and old folks:rolleyes: when will they get a new playbook. "Guns and alcohol...." and now "guns and children don't mix." -
Your up a creek. They probably have records showing they tried calling and has been stated they can just say they were letting you go. You trying to prove they have records of your end is going to be difficult at best. No explanation is necessary. Save yourself the stress and aggravation and move on. Even if you were to force them to let you back on, I can almost guarantee you you wouldn't like it there and your first little mistake would probably be your last.

and it's irrelevant. It is allowed!

How bout you post the upper and I'll post the lower.

These things get old. Some employees are stupid, we get it. The reason we buy from Walmart are prices not expert assistance by some random employee.

I don't understand why someone would post just to knock someone else's gun?
