Actually no. Receiver flex, receivers within spec but slightly off all make a difference. I've never had heights issues, but several country varieties I've had windage issues. I'd have to set optics all the way right or left to get on target. AK receivers are so loose that you can have a solid functioning AK with a crooked receiver and never notice till you put a side mount on and look down the receiver. You can also run into the issue of canted front trunions that actually throw you left or right (consistently) depending on the barrel push. This will also create a similar issue.

They are not your average American made AK. I've had them since they first came out years ago and they are good to go. I'd take a PSA long before a Century or any other American AK, especially an I.O. which I'd never buy. However, I'd still take an import first and the new Romanians are better and cheaper..

David pretty much got it. Although the CZ P10c is putting its name in the pot, but it needs more time on the market.

YouTube stunt with gun leaves boyfriend dead in Halstad, Minnesota

Nope, he instructed as an authority figure and for cause. Legal code for that was correct. IMO, and the laws, if you have to go hunt for a law to apply to a case that has no direct law, or invent a correlation to existing law though unprecedented legal interpretation and application ... you are legislating from the bench. Again my quote from legal theory, "hard cases make bad laws" . Think about applying the same principle you're trying to use here to the 2nd amendment ... or any other. I actually know what the consensus here is in that regard. -

Philosophy is not law. Legal phrase for you "hard cases make bad laws" or a nother way of saying, "empathy is bad politics." -

Disagree, the suicide verdict was ridiculous. They are going to start charging "bullies" with manslaughter next. Except in the case of "inciting a riot" or "inciting violence", those are the only legal forms I know of that can apply "legally". He killed himself, she did not have any part of the action. She could have been charged with "inciting violence", but I doubt her actions fall under that scrutiny. He should be held liable for his decision. There is no "legal" application for that girl with manslaughter except what the judge made up. In this case she made a decision and HER direct actions led to death. Manslaughter is absolutely the right charge and almost the definition in this case. -

Beautiful pup. We got a new friend a few weeks ago as well. Josey is now 11 weeks. Border collie mix. First week, she'd need to go outside at about 3 am, but after that she could go all night. Pups are a lot of work but great fun. -
A couple Christmas presents. 95 American Standard Strat. New pickups, picguard, and control's on the way. Gonna black it out. Already added Fender locking tuners. Line6 V60 & FBV Mk III Express. Way too many toys in this amp! Lots of fun though. I still want a Vox AC30!

I've used the Burris Fastfire III on a Glock 19 MOS, and really like it. If I were super serious and had enough money to waste, I'd go with a RMR and leave it on.

You know what I think! But if you decide to part wit the Saiga, let me know!

Just picked this up today. Always wanted a PRS and I got a great deal on this one. It's not American made, but it wasn't $4k either![emoji6] Wish I had the Epiphone Sheraton II and the '86 Les Paul I had when I thought I was a musician. Sold them 18 years ago to fund my wife's wedding ring. Don't regret it one bit, but I sure liked those guitars. Now I play in church on Sunday's and that's about it.

No. It has to be in his state.

Well, I figuered if Hillary won I could make a small fortune and if Trump won, everyone in my family would be well armed. Everyone is now well armed. I do need more AK's. Maybe Trump can get that door opened back up. A $700 WASR is just crazy. I miss converting Saiga's for dirt cheap.
-
So, now that Trump will be president, what am I going to do with all these extra AR's and receivers? How low well they go? [emoji6]

Well I'm a life long cubs fan, and I gave up hope after game four. I won't get excited again till after they win a game six. Then it'll be back to near heart attack status.

Click on the link to the pictures and it shows what that site is selling them for. Seems to vary depending on gen and a few other details.

Maybe it's the picture or the angle, but it looks like the lines of the frame, slide, and barrel don't line up properly. The bore axis looks like it is half in the slide, half in the frame.

I personally don't know why anyone would pick a 17 over a 19. The 19 is just about the perfect size gun for carry or concealability. The trade off of two more rounds and less than 1/2 in. in sight radius isn't enough to cover the larger size. That slightly larger size is just enough to make the 17 exponentially harder to conceal carry.

Just received a vintage Savage 340 30-30! Here's what makes it special. This is my grandfather's rifle he used to put food on his family and neighbors families tables in the rural Ozark mountains of northern Arkansas. My grandfather died at the age of 28 from what is believed to be an aneurysm, not too long after returning from Korea. My dad was only 5 years old and this rifle was one of the few possessions my grandfather had that my father was able to keep through the years, house fires, and normal life issues. My grandfather purchased the rifle through the only general store in the little town they lived in, probably from a Belknap catalog. I do have the catalog as well! Probably purchased sometime in late 1950 or early 1951. Which is pretty cool as well since the 340 came out in 1950. Also have the original box of ammo that my grandfather had at the time of his death with 4 shells left in the box! Gun isn't a high value gun but it's priceless to me. To hold in my hands the tool the man I never got to meet, used to feed his family. The gun my father used to kill his prized mounted 10 pointer the day I was born ... It doesn't get any better than that.

Many reasons why I really like the Garrett Industries Silent Thunder holsters. Kydex shell with a leather lining. [emoji6]

The AKT with a JTE Power trigger spring from Carolina Shooters Supply is about as good as it gets.

Not a problem. They also wash in daylight. Green will work, but still washes pretty bad.

Yep, and it's circular. However, disagreeing on "principal" and then arguing in that same "principal" is what Gary Larson built The Far Side on. Carry on repressing free speech, in defense of free speech, using free speech. [emoji6]
