    ar-15 trigger

I've heard good things about the Rock River triggers. Del-Ton, Inc. AR-15 Rock River Arms AR-15 2 Stage Trigger
  2. and 2 to 3 time the price for equal work.
  3. Is there a way to universally turn off linkback notifications or are they tied in to thread subscriptions?
  4. I sure hope he's not leaving the business. If it weren't for the waits, he's the only one I buy from...leather wise.
  5. One of those links in TNMitch's weird thread, I think the Calguns one, Kevin said he was closing the business. When I went to his site it it was pretty much closed down.
  6. Those look good. It would also be funny if everyone was wearing a tag with TGO David on it!
  7. Man! Looks like one of my favorite custom holster guys, K&D, is closing. I know he's had some health issues, but I sure hope he will sell the business or patents. Very sad. I was looking forward to ordering some more holster in the future.
  8. Man Hex, you get the good Positive Poster Award! I think TGODavid nailed it in your sig.
  9. There would be for places like CA, IL, and NY
  10. It's hard to see a cloud of dust a mile away and hear a shot 2 seconds after the bullet hits your buddy. Good question though.
  11. That's the America I know and love. Not to be negative but it is truly sad every soldier returning home was not afforded the same honor. The vets a long the way definitely choked me up.
  12. macville raised some interesting points. I guess theoretically, folks in NY or CA could get permits in Utah and bypass their stupid laws all together. That would be a huge win. Just not sure it balances the negatives for us already in free states.
  13. Given the political landscape in Nashville, I'd say that's a huge step in the right direction. Better than none at all for sure. I also hope it's an indicator the good pressure is on!
  14. What I don't understand is that there are next to zero instances of any shootings at Wendy's or Burger King so what makes places like any different. Also, it is not in the restaurant that I want my gun with me, it is on the way in and on the way out.
  15. Says the HiPoint fan! J/k Did you read the whole thread?
  16. Just read in the newest Rifleman mag that the Detroit PD is picking it up (M&P40) along with the S&W AR line. According to their report over 500 agencies are now using the M&P and 211 are using the S&W AR line. If Detroit is indeed using them we will know for sure how well they work. Talk about a real life torture test!
  17. Cold Steel owns ATC. The difference in the CS and the ATC is the ATC has better steel and a synthetic handle with finger indexes. The CS is a LaGana vietnam era copy while the ATC is the updated version. BTW- check out the "how to" video on the ATC site. Pretty cool.
  18. What's your guys thoughts on say, a LaGana type Tomahawk for general purpose emergency/SHTF/outdoors use? Seem like it would be a better combat tool in CQB, sans gun, and a lot more useful tool for everything else outdoor/survival related than a knife or shovel. Plus you can throw the thing! I'd probably go with the ATC one over the other two. The SOG seems like a cheapie to me. Vietnam Tomahawk : Cold Steel AMERICAN TOMAHAWK COMPANY : LaGana Tactical (VTAC) SOG Fusion Tactical Tomahawk Of course I guess I could always just get proficient with a shovel like the Spatsnaz!
  19. Anyone seen this yet? Looks good. Only possible negative is if it is a National law then theoretically permits could be administrated by the Feds. Putting my tinfoil on, theoretically, they could also pull RTC nationawide a whole lot easier than if it is stte run. What do you think? NRA-ILA :: URGENT - U.S. Senate To Consider Right-To-Carry Reciprocity Amendment Early This Week
  20. Glad your story had a happy ending. Enjoy the M&P
  21. If you have single shot I would definitely have a 10mm, 50 GI, or 44 mag, but since I carry daily here is my reasoning. Again, it is all about compromises. BTW - I'm not sure where some of you studied math and science but you may want to crack the books again.
  22. That's my point. Did you read them in their context or yours?
  23. In truth the Hi-Power, CZ-75, and down the line the, 1911, are considered the best fitting guns ever. Most other makers have been trying to improve and use these as templates ever sense. The exception is the Glock folks, but there's something wrong with them J/K
