  1. "They favor more toward students that got a 4.0. They help them more out with the job placement," she said. Evidently that 2.7 GPA was not helped by her English classes either. Maybe she should sue the English department as well.

Just picked up the CZ P07 and it is fantastic. My personal opinion of the perfect carry gun. G19 size, 16+1 capacity, cane be DA/SA OR SA (ala 1911, Hi-Power), Is easily carried and at $418 you can get a nice holster and ammo all easily under your budget. If you are ever in Nashville, your more than welcome to try it out. Downsides ATM: holster choice is limited. Just a thought.
  3. What in the world! This is the most jumbled nonsensical thread I have ever read!? I'd debate, but I'm not sure of the topic. Health care, racism, Southern angst, Obama, Canada, US, Jesus, Hitler.............................? I guess I'd call this a driveby trolling!
  4. I've never heard of that. Maybe you got reported to "Flag" at the White House from someone on the board. Just kidding with you David. Glad everything got worked out.
  5. I'm embarrassed to say. I'm with Hatmaker. I got a bad habit of wanting something different. Although I think I will stay with the CZ P07 this time.
  6. That is hilarious.... for someone else to pull
  7. In my HCP class, they told us if we had to forcefully arrest then use the gun only until they couldn't see it then only make them think you still have it on them. Technically you can not hold at gunpoint, but you can forcefully detain in a citizen arrest if it's a felony.
  8. I personally think the lone wolf barrels are a step sideways if not up. they are full supported and have traditional rifling, so lead is not an issue.
  9. They are there to investigate the call. They have no way of knowing who's who and what exactly is going on. To assume is a good way for them to wind up dead or someone else after they leave. It's sad to say but as litigious as our society has become they are as paranoid about CYA as everybody else, if not more so.
  10. Brentwood and Belle Meade have the highest crime rates in the city.
  11. I'm told MS13 is getting prevalent around here, but most of the cops I know (some who work the gang unit) say most of the gangs in Nashville are "wannabe" gangs. They pretty much agree it's not a serious problem like some other cities (Memphis included), but it is gettting more and more problematic.

    Wilson Combat KZ45

Israeli company. BUL LTD. - BUL M-5 Line I was under the impression that Kimber imported the bul with a few "Kimber" changes and sold it under their name.

They were made and are still made by Bul. You can get them sans the Kimber name and price via Charles Daly. Daly customer service is excellent.
  14. I know what you are saying but it's apples and oranges. It's like saying spying on citizens is wrong so no citizen can be spied on ...... even if they are actively financing and working for Al Queda. It is a blurry line for sure.
  15. Self appointed moderator of his own thread, nice! Banhammer!
  16. Well, if you work over there your military experience will come in handy. Stay sharp my friend.
  17. Those articles are always using one or two guys as their sole source of restaurateur opinion. Same two guys I might add. Where are the other so called 78%? That brings up the second issue I have with all these articles. 78% of 14%, (?) can't remember the total number of questionnaires sent out - something like 700 total and 100 responses (?), is not 78% of restaurants! These are Yogi Berra stats!
  18. Man that's hard to decide. It's a tough choice between the History Ch. and TVLand. I'd go with TVLand except they've been running Roseanne marathons () lately......... so History Channel it is!
  19. I'm still trying to make one of these. Sundays are no good for me. Please make it Saturday and I can do it!
  20. From that first picture it looks like the yote took it in the rear and liked it! At least he died with a smile! Hahahah! I like the guys in the garage laughing. I bet they weren't when they had to start cleaning that thing out! Great picks and very funny!
  21. From my limited experience the Omega trigger is much lighter and smoother factory than even a broken in P01 or other 75/85 series CZ.
  22. Different. The Glock is striker fired and the P07 is a true SA hammer fired. For a SA it is very good. Definitely longer than the Glock but not bad in any sense. Just different.
  23. Jeff at G&L is a great guy to work with. Of course he's got a lot of work going on right now so it may take a while.
  24. I assume you are referring to Yeager? I don't know too many doing AK specific training. I think they are somewhat unique in their approach.
  25. The comments were enlightening as well.
