  1. Park police say minimum of 1.2 million. Again 2+2 Ralfalpha. How many were in DC to protest big gov't? (OneNewsNow.com) Man, liberals make it soooo easy!
  2. Partially true. They did start an evaluation for possibly going back to a .45 platform and many of these companies developed guns to that purpose. They recently decided against changing which is what has brought all these new .45's to the market. The Taurus, FNP-45, and the possible XDm45 are all out of these trials. Currently however, they decided to stay with the M9 and 9mm.
  3. What I've heard said is that if it leaves the holster you better be sure your ready to fire. Not that it guarantees you will. To that end, I think it is a sound idea.

    Brighton Arms

Looks like a bad robbery waiting to happen.
  5. 2+2 still equals 4 Ralph. Your association and conclusion skills are very lacking. His statement does not need clarification.
  6. This is about the smartest ignorant discussion here yet. Religion = assisting orphans and widows. Protestants founded and formed this country and the evidence of what a "religious" Christian motive gives us is clear. The countries that are based on Islam - of any form/sect - stands as evidence to its own nature. I find it interesting that so called Libertartians and constitutionalist "love" the constitution.... only until the principles they don't like get in the way. Sound kinda like liberals, doesn't it? You can't accept the foundation of this country in principle without accepting all it's founding principles. Please guys don't let your personal fear, hurts, and wrongs done by who ever when ever taint your perception of truth and reality. I have often said that "Christians" are themselves their biggest obstacles. Not because they follow what they say the believe, but becasue they do exactly the opposite. Doesn't change the truth jut makes them bad examples for it.
  7. I've had two. They are all right. I found they were pretty thick for carry and the clip isn't the stiffest. It works in a pinch and as said above, work well as a car holster.
  8. Say what you will about CD, but I think they are up and coming.
  9. they get rave reviews from every forum I've read. Even the AR15.com guys give them good reviews and they usually thumb their noses at anything less than $400 (whether it's worth it or not).

    HERA Arms?

ah, that would make sense. Missed that.
  11. on a side note, anyone notice the Oleg Volk picture they used?

    HERA Arms?

What exactly would a non SBR version consist of?
  13. Smith

    HERA Arms?

Short Barreled Rifle. Any gun with a barrel under 16" and a overall length under 26" (?) has to have a $200 NFA tax stamp to be legal. to add a stock or fore grip to any handgun makes it legally a SBR an subject to the tax or serious jail time.

    HERA Arms?

I've read a lot about them and they look cool. Seems like Joe may have some experience with them. I've never known anyone who actually had one though. I think that's because basically you have to SBR a Glock. There are just better things to SBR than a Glock with an expensive accessories. That being said for the man who has everything, it is definitley a cool idea.
  15. No particular order: - 870 or 590 - CZ SP-01 Tactical - Henry Survival Rifle - VZ58 - Krink or Micro Galil
  16. Why couldn't they make a remote switch that activates like the Crimson Trace grips for the Eotech or the Aimpoint for that matter?
  17. I'd watch just to see the guy in a foot chase! Seriously, who runs like that?
  18. I really like the T-1's that I have seen, except for the price tag! For the life of me I don't know why they aren't more reasonably priced by Aimpoint. I'm going to be using the Konus Sight Pro Atomic, which is a very good clone of the T-1 for a whole lot less. I know the differences, but I'm no tac operator nor do I plan on fighting any battles anytime soon to justify a $600 red dot on an AK.
  19. I believe it is "Jason F." that works for Sabre.

    That's just funny!
  21. Haha! That's rather simplistic, but basically ....yes.
  22. BTW liberal and conservative are not parties, they are ideologies. Of those Ideologies liberalism is the only ideology that is running in Washington and that goes for both parties. Ironically, there is only a small portion of the Republicans that adhere to conservatism (even though they all platform on it) and of those they are fairly silent. The Democrats and Republicans of the modern era are two shades of liberalism. I believe we will see a viable third party in the future that will represent the American public, which over 80% of us identify as conservative. This is becasue parties used to be good indicators of ideology. This is no longer the case. As the divide between those in power and the people they represent widen, the gap is opening to allow room for a true "conservative" party. Parties still give an indicator of ideology and can be helpful, but you are correct that it can't make the choice for us. We must vote for the man not the party.
  23. I like chrome. Less maintenance and the supposed lack of accuracy is negligible - if any. Free float handguards take a few tools and more work, but handguards that use the delta ring just take elbow grease. 1:9 is the best all round in your situation.
  24. I'd go with the extra barrel IMO.
  25. I'll start: "Indian. It's not just for white men anymore!" "Like most Americans, Joe Crow High-Bird never saw it coming." "Equality means having someone else to kick around"
