  1. What is it about facts that these people not get? 80% support the "public option", last I heard it was 100% that's why it is being so successful. Kinda like the Dubai port deal and Harriet Myers.
  2. Just for fun!
  3. I like the camera idea. Next time try some tracers! That would be too cool!
  4. Get a .270. Best all round game gun you can get. Plus you can load it from varmint stuff all the way to elk. Can't beat that. Other than that I would say a 30-06. It's what the .308 wants to be.
  5. While I think she would be great, I think she is too smart to step into the political nightmare of POTUS.
  6. They just released the Saiga in 5.45, so I have a hard time seeing them going away. Also, Arsenal is using Saiga's as the base for their AK's now. With Arsenal pushing the line I think the civi market will last....... I hope.
  7. for 150-200 yrds you really don't need a lot of magnification. I had a Millet DMS-1 on the AR (I never shot) and I really liked it. They run around $200 and you can get top of the line Larue mount for under $200. http://swfa.com/Millett-1-4x24-DMS-Tactical-30mm-Riflescope-P9251.aspx
  8. Yeah, the new Saiga 5.45 is now on the shores. I'm told Centerfiresystems has them and is about to list them. Arsenal is selling Saiga/'74's that are very nice.
  9. That was just icing on a great cake!
  10. Run up to Guns and Leather. They have anything and everything you could want and I'm sure one will fit your budget. I've had nothing but good dealings with Centerfire and the Double Star is a quality piece. On a side note, as an AK guy myself, why not get a '74 variety. Ammo is cheap and plentiful and will do everything the 5.56 will do in a superior platform!
  11. I bet they even turned their cars off to save the engine!
  12. Prince John was a also usurper of the throne. It was his illegal and illegitimate abuse of the government against the people that Robin Hood fought. The only thing Obama has in common with Robin Hood is that he Robbed the Hood already.
  13. I've used my great grandfathers Savage 30-30 bolt, a Marlin 336, AK, and a Savage 110 in .270. I like all of them.
  14. uh, no. It was used by many pagan cultures in for various religious and design purposes but never by Christians as a Christian symbol.
  15. There's a slash? He could be buddies with this guy!
  16. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those. I'd prefer the CZ or M&P.
  17. Clearly!

    Where'd you find that?
  20. It's a sloth, isn't it?
  21. Folks tend to swear by what they know. As you said most issued and trained on Glocks tend to favor .......... You new guys need to go back and read the late Mars views on the gun at hand and learn something. He was way more experienced and qualified than almost anyone here, combined. Glocks are the darlings of PD's for cost reasons, period. Everything after that is debatable. The Glock is a fine weapon but no more so than many others. They weren't the first and they won't be the last.
  22. The kool-aid is thick and strong in here. I wish Mars was still here for this one.
  23. Just messing with ya. Anytime I can work in a "Dumb and Dumber" or a "Dumb and Dumberer" reference, my day is made!
