    Good Obama Speech

I watched that on HULU last night. Pretty accurate.
  2. I'm more inclined to the light saber myself. Any sword that can also deflect blaster shots and cut a guy in half is all right in my book.:leaving:
  3. Nothing really. LE guns are usually carried a lot and will show wear, but have been shot VERY little so mechanically they are like new. With glock 19's the price difference between a used one and a new one is so small I always got a new one. One advantage of a used one is they usually have some sort of after-market upgrades that might make the deal a little better.
  4. Yeah, centerfire has some hard to beat deals. If I'm not mistaken they are the only ones with Saiga 5.45 ATM. At least they got the first shipment.
  5. You can try Summit. They don't have any ATM, but he gets them in regularly. Firearms, Guns, Rifles. Grain Valley, Missouri.
  6. Not really. The verdict has been out since about 1947. It was titled the AK. AR guys, like glockers, just have a hard time admitting shortcomings.
  7. Funny how surprised they are at Obama failing. Let's see....... Healthcare - fail, deficit - BIG fail, Afganastan - fail, bipartisanship - fail, bills on-line for review - fail, no lobbyist in WH -fail, cap and tax - fail, stimulus - fail............................ Is it only me that sees the socialist trend continue here?
  8. Yeah, that be a bear.

    saiga 12

Excellent guns. Factory mags are all that's available in the normal configuration. You can get drums but stay away from Alliance Armament. Plus's are that it is an AK (it will run no matter what conditions are), isn't ammo finicky (other than Walmart "Universal"), and you can't break it. Negatives? don't know any yet.
  10. my first Handgun was a PJK-9HP. Didn't know what I had at the time. It was an excellent pistol. Word had gotten out on them and they are relatively rare these days.

    My next gun!

    That is sure nice.

    My next gun!

didn't know they had an OD green framed FN. congrats
  13. I wouldn't put an Eotech on a FNAR. If you are looking for something shorter range why not something like the Millet DMS-1? Works very well and you can judge distance pretty well with the dot in doughnut reticle.
  14. Yes. Standard threading on 6.8 is 5/8x24, which is also .308 threading. With that you can use the normal 6.8/.308 suppressors and FH/brakes.
  15. You could get a thread adapter and make it simpler. This is one of the negatives to the Stag. 5/8x24 to 1/2x36 Adapter - Other Accessories - PWS
  16. Having no personal extended time on either, I like the Aimpoint better. If I had the funds I personally have a AP T-2 micro. Those things are awesome! I had a Millet DMS-1 on mine that I really liked. You could use both eyes open on 1x but eye relief was more like a traditional scope. I did like the dot in doughnut reticle especially well.
  17. Ah! How could I have left off a Krink!
  18. - Saiga 12 (Had ) - Saiga AK (converted of course!) (Have) - CZ P07 (Have) - FNP-9 USG two tone (Need) - micro-Uzi or AUG
  19. Wow! Evil Knievel would be proud of that jump.
  20. Links or info?
  21. Not necessarily true. There are some buisness that post non-enforcible signs to appease the sheep. They also post as a CYA in case some non permit holder is caring and he tries to cry ignorance (not that it would matter much). If it's non-enforcible carry away until it is made clear otherwise. We are expected to know and obey the law, so why not a buisness? I can't carry a handwritten HCP and say, "well you know what I mean officer".

    My next gun!

Yeah, the first one I had the decokcker did seem rather flimsy. I'm told over on the FN forum that it is being corrected to make them more streamlined. Along the lines of the .45 USG. My only other complaint was the rather large base pad on the mags.

    My next gun!

I will. I can say that I had one of the regular DA/SA and it was a great gun. It had by far the best DA trigger I had used and an excellent SA. That being said I just have never warmed to any DA. Cocked and locked is the only way to go.

    My next gun!

While I couldn't be more happy with the new CZ P07, I've always said if the FNP had a manual safety it would be an ideal carry gun (for me). Well, low and behold I discover somehow that I have missed the release of the FNP-9 USG! IMHO, the two tone is one of the most attractive guns around!
