  1. Two steps forward one step back. Had a "clean bill" been passed it would have been challenged as well. Then what? It leaves no answer to an argument. Sometimes you have to work through their stupidity with them. This is how difficult things get passed. Relax.
  2. They can put injunctions on laws till the matter is resolved in the legislature or higher court I do believe.

    Glocks

I would say that the most popular one is the 19 followed by the 26/27, but I would be interested to know the numbers myself.

    Funny Commercial

These are the same guys who made the Red House "Racial Harmony" commercials. and how bout this one.
  5. I like the second Glock idea. Holsters and mags will be interchangeable.

    First Shotgun

I've seen barrels from $150 - $185 and you may be able to find someone who has one laying around that will give you a deal.
  7. That's what some of the Tacticool guys will tell you, but the truth is AR's are picky eaters that tend to need a lot of attention. This is just one of those things. A stronger extractor spring will take care of it. Then you can shoot the cheap stuff.
  8. With the steel case stuff you have to use the stronger extractor springs. Wolf and the steel case stuff will stick with the regular extractor springs. After you switch the springs out they should work just fine.
  9. Yep! Watching them both. Just finished watching the one on Battle of Monte Cassino. My problem with The Prisoner is that they are running two episodes a night over 3 nights and they happen to be nights where I'm working through parts of the show. I hope they run them all again or put them on Hulu so I can watch them in continuity.
  10. Usually the case with unarmed positions.
  11. What is required by my location is to stay updated on CPR/First Aid and then we do scenario training in Bomb Threats, Evac, Terrorism, Robbery, etc. Most of it is watching a video or something similar and then taking a test. I get the idea they want something on file saying we've been trained. Personally, if this was a career thing I would get baton & chemical certified and take weapons training for sure. While technically I'm unarmed, the guys I work with and under are all ex LEO and or Corrections officers with a lot of experience. We all carry something. You'd have to be a fool to work downtown, overnight, alone with only a flashflight and a Nextel.
  12. and that comment will definitely make things better for you with the wife! BTW - I'm calling dibs on administering your estate.
  13. What makes you say that? The 6.8 is being used in the military and and every maker makes an upper for it. The only downside is available ammo, but that is coming on as well. The 6.5 is still very limited by makers, mags, etc. and the only advantage is Wolf making ammo for it. If it weren't for Wolf Alexander Arms would be about the only place to get ammo for it. Just curious as to why you think it will catch up and overtake the 6.8.
  14. The good thing about the 6.5 is that Wolf produces some fairly cheap plinking stuff and the round has great downrange/long range performance. The 6.8 is probably going to be more mainstream in the future and just about every maker is making 6.8. It is great for what it is designed for which is an upgrade to the 5.56. The 6.8 is a 300 yrd and in round and does very well with that. Trajectory is near the same as the .308 at similar distances (under 350 yrds), so ballistics are easier to figure. the way I see them the 6.5 is a boutique round that does what it was designed for and the 6.8 is a fighting round that does what it was designed for. I really like the 6.8 for everything other than long range stuff. The 6.8 is gets about all it's going to get out of a 16" so barrel is kinda irrelevant. The 6.5 is more traditional in that barrel length will change velocities. As far as the 5.56 .......just not for me.
  15. Hey Hatmaker, did you trade in your FNP9 on this? If so,they pulled it out of the back for me tonight so I could fondle it. I will definitely be picking up one of the USG versions in the near future! Sorry for the hijack.
  16. That's why you'd be the first dead leaving us "cowards" to fight the long fight. As the proverb says, "be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove". While I like the attitude, sometimes being out front isn't the best place to lead a movement.
  17. Shh! Hatmaker will be along shortly with a recently divorced thread!
  18. IT's sad we have come to a point were this is less hypothetical and more practical. Personally I would probably B until I could find some organization to C.
  19. Hey guys. I may be moving to back to Arkansas and am looking for some good to the point info on AR carry/gun laws. I do have my TN HCP and know that it's honored, but just curious as to what laws may be different. So far I know this: - no church carry - no government buildings (State or Federal) - no sporting events - no schools etc. BTW - AR is for Arkansas not Armalite Rifle!
  20. PLEASE get Shark Tac! I need a holster for my P07! It would seem a perfect opportunity for them.
  21. Saw that the other day. I've seen playing hard, but DANG!
  22. No. the screw "build kit" is for a true from scratch build. Mainly for attaching the trunions. The DIY trigger guard has the needed hardware. On the internal stock adapter, that is for attaching Tromix or ACE stocks. Most other stocks just slide in and use the existing tang for attachment.
