    CZ PO7 Duty

Meprolight makes them now and I'm told some of the 75's will work. High Noon is also making holsters now for the P07 and you can find holsters for the XD that fit the P07. I'll also add that this is a utilitarian gun done right. It's no supped up 1911 nor is it a rough Kel-tec type. It is well made and everything works for a darn good price. Well below what it should run.

Well, I have one and love it.It is my everyday carry gun. You can search for the post I've made regarding it, but basically it is the perfect carry gun for me. Glock 19 size, great ergos, accurate, great trigger, hammer fired (re-strike capable), 16+1, can either carry C&L or use the decocker (i got it to carry C&L SA). Only negatives are holster availability and the sights are cheap. .
  3. It's balance. You can't legalize something dangerous unless people/society will police themselves and I don't believe we have a society that can police themselves at this point. America worked best when the people controlled and monitored themselves. There is no utopia either way, but until we return to a place where personal responsibility is preeminent, liberty can not be loosed. Of course personal responsibility will struggle to return the more we don't force people to be responsible. Simple theory. Hard in practice. Kind of a chicken and egg thing. Bottom line is that we shouldn't have to tell people not to be stupid, but unfortunately we do. On the other side I truly believe that if we controlled immigration these would be non issues or at least minor issues like they were previously. Of course as pointed out there is too much political capital involved to do that.
  4. Haha! Me too. Started at 1600 and get off at 0700 then get to come back at 1500! Fun stuff. I was responding to the comment that 00 buck was irresponsibly dangerous while at the same time we use 9mm, .45, ect. with out much thought. My point was that 00 has less collateral potential than handgun rounds and that even birdshot will penetrate multiple walls. To get something that wouldn't penetrate walls wouldn't penetrate clothing or even tissue. Think BB gun.
  5. Agree. Legalize one thing they will find another. Don't forget it was foreign enemies of the US that used drugs as a way to break down America from within. Take that away and they will find something new. Legalizing will just add another wrinkle and ironically give the government one more control over society. It's always interesting to me Libertarians want to legalize drugs and minimize government. Don't they realize they would be putting a huge money maker that has people highly addicted to substances only the government controls. How does that make sense. Anyway immigration control is the biggest way to stop these gangs. Almost all of the major gangs are immigrant groups trafficking between the US and their mother countries. Take that element out and the local gangs will be manageable like they were back in the day.If you recall the war on drugs and the immigration go hand in hand.

    New Shotty!

They're running $219 with a $10 off store discount. I had a $100 gift card so it wasn't bad at all.
  7. Me thinks you missed the context.
  8. That would be a "nice" change from what has seemed to be the norm lately. Still really sad to be so young.

    SNIPER?

They're about to show the 1.5 mile shot. To bad the sniper was Canadian! However, the Rufus .50 round that took out 3 insurgents behind a cinder block wall at 1 mile is darn impressive! Nice shot Reichert!

    SNIPER?

There about to show Mewinehy'e 16 shot 16 kills! That's some nerve right there.
  11. That's about a complete and clear as it gets!
  12. WOW, Holy Avitar Batman! That has to be the funniest thing I've seen in a while! Back on topic, is it still an HCP?
  13. This is what I hate about news. The headline is totally misleading. Makes you think some kids are having a snowball fight and some Fife type pulls his gun on them. Turns out global warming protesters are having a snowball fight and the cop is responding to a "armed man" call who turns out to be an undercover detective. Why couldn't they have centered on the irony of Global warming protesters involved in a snowball fight?
  14. Well, sort of. If you have a HCP you can carry a loaded, but not chambered long gun in your vehicle without restriction.
  15. So when I moved to Nashville and was inquiring about HCP I naively made the mistake of asking can I carry long guns/shotties with a HCP? To which I usually got the smart Alec response, "It's called a HANDGUN permit for a reason!" So to all those helpful folks out there, now that we can carry long guns/shotties is our permit now referred to as a Weapons Carry Permit or what? Just saying.

    Just Thankful.

What would Patton think? We complain so much because we have so much. Ironic isn't it. The more we are blessed the more we think we should be. Makes me think of the question I was asked by a 16 yr. old kid in Kenya. He first was astonished to find out we had prisons and crime and then asked, "Why would there be thieves when everyone has so much?"
  17. Might want to watch the video that was posted.
  18. I've been watching them for a while and CDNN has the version without the scope for under 1k now! I would like a 6.8 version. Steyr is supposed to be making the original AUG available sometime soon as well. Could help drive prices down a bit.
  19. Sad to say a lot of this stuff seems to be drug related. I remember seeing her a couple years back and she looked awful thin. Like druggy thin. Really sad. You would think we would have learned from the 60's, 70's, 80's...... Really sad.
  20. Get one of the Ghost 3.5 triggers and don't worry about it. 3.5 Ultimate Trigger Kit
  21. No kidding, right? Seriously, I don't see 00 being as "dangerous" for wall penetration as 9mm or a .45. Think about it. If it can't at least go through a wall how in the world is it going to go through denim, a coat, or a heavy shirt and stop an intruder?
  22. Might want to edit the title. I was confused to say the least.
  23. As one who has wondered in the desert, just remember that God only gets us from captivity to the promised land by taking us through the desert. It strips us down so that He can be build us up in preparation for the blessings ahead. It is good to hear your heart. The length of our time in the desert is often related to the length of time it takes to strip us down. Stay focused James. Praying for you brother. Amongst others here who have been in those shoes, remember you're in good company in your ordeal. Think of Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, Moses, David, Elijah, Jonah, Gideon, Paul, Peter, .................
  24. Not a problem. I was just hoping you were ok. Hang in there. We all been there at one time or another..... some of us more than once!
  25. Well, guys I work with are gun nuts and for Christmas gave me a gift card! Needing a new shotty, I picked up a H&R Pardner Pump from Dicks today. From what I've read, H&R has the same parent company as Remington and the Pardner is a nearly identical copy of the 870. All parts are interchangeable, except barrels, but you can pick those up from H&R for around $50 after shipping. I've had a couple 870's and I can't tell much difference. The receiver is unpolished but internally no machining marks or anything I didn't have with the 870's. Pretty good bargain that didn't cost me much. I'm happy. Will probably add a Knoxx Spec Opps stock, a side saddle, a mag extension, and some sights as time and money permit. When it's all said and done I don't plan on having more than $300 in a fully decked out shotty! Not bad IMO. Anyone know of any ghost ring sights that will work with a top rail? It is drilled and tapped already. (Sorry for cell phone pics.)
