  1. I wonder if these can make their way across the border! Modern Firearms - FX-05 Xiuhcoatl assault rifle
  2. Anybody ever used the 12g mini shells? Seems to be the best compromise of all considerations ......... if they work. Example : Ammunition To Go : 20rds - 12 gauge Aguila Mini-Shell Buckshot [28970] - $12.95
  3. Like to know too. I plan on adding a Knoxx Spec-Ops stock so the misses can handle it better.
  4. Yes you said the Depression which is what I addressed. That article is also indictive of the stats that show there are not direct, consistent parallels between crime and economics as a whole. Rather they are some what interpretive and misleading correlating factors given certain time periods. People attribute these to predetermined life views. As was my second point While that is true it is rather simplistic. For instance, low income household crime in cities is directly disproportionate to low income rural and suburban areas. Not only that but in rural/suburban areas the curve between economics and crime (ala Great Depression) tends to not be correlated. Jobs don't stop crime. Compare the 80's with the late 90's. We agree more than it sounds. I just am rejecting the preimse (not necessarily by you) that if everyone had a job there would be no crime. Sure economics affect some fringge elements one way or the other, but ultimately I believe the bulk of those that are criminals would be so regardless and that the net gain on either side is negligible to the overall stats. I also agree stats are just about worthless. They can be made to make any point. They also can not account for cultural forces behind the numbers. Which are usually key, but even more subjective.
  5. No, typical crime actually went the other way and Mutt's article proves both points icluding my second point, which i think you agree. I do, however reject the notion that poor economics "make" more criminals. Crime itself may rise marginally, but character is something you either have or you don't. It is not cause and effexct. If it were not so the curves would directly correspond in both scope and size. They do not. .

    New rifles

Had a 111 in .270 and really liked it. This is before the Accutrigger so I am curious as to how those work.
  7. That's the good part of it. Got to work the valet gig till 11 then got to go to my regular job till 7 am! At least the money is finally good!
  8. Man, after 24 it gets harder to get back in shape. After 30 it get a lot harder. I don't want to find out what happens after 40!
  9. Here is a pretty good article about "M4" feed ramps. M4 Feedramps - M4Carbine.net Forums & http://www.ar15barrels.com/gfx/feedramps.jpg
  10. About the only problem I've had was with Remington green/white box ammo. Some of it appears to not be hot enough.
  11. Not true. Just look at stats during the great depression and other economic downturns. It is however an excuse for some who find validation in the media to promote their leftist agenda on how the government is the only one who can stop the down economy.
  12. Yes the "M4" will work. The feed ramps only make a difference in full automatic/3 rnd but is nice to have for what little difference they make.

  17. Just curious what everyones resolution are going to be? Mine is to: 1. Finish the addition I started before the baby gets here and the wife kills me. 2. Loose the 30 lbs I gained after my wreck. Man I got huge! 3. Not be so hypercritical of myself and others.
  18. Well, since I have 3 kids under 7, another one on the way, and had salary cutbacks - Christmas for me this year was very much about giving and NOT receiving. That being said, what's on your wish list for next year (or probably in 3 yrs.) when we are all back on our feet spending like true Americans? Here's mine: - Uzi - Saiga 12 (converted) - MSAR 6.8 - Krink - FNP USG 9mm - Kel-Tec RFB? - Lots of ammo - lots of free time to used above list!
  19. I do but like everything on the internet I take it with a grain, or bag, or salt.
  20. It shows they have a pretty strong bias on certain issues. When you claim to be only about factual info yet spin certain info towards a particular POV it undermines your credibility on every topic. The point was not about the topics but the reliability of the info.
