  1. I'm no government employee and the overnight job I have is just a step up from minimum wage and it was made clear to us that weather was not an excuse for not coming to work. I drove 20+ miles Friday night at 10 PM to get to work. Just saying.
  2. Yeah, it can be pretty humerous sometimes. What is really humerous is that most of the time the authors don't get it, so it's hard to correct. I remeber my dad preaching about Balam once and concluded with the statement, "If God can speak through Balam's ass, he can speak through you!"
  3. It doesn't flex like you think. It is mostly an optical illusion of the recoil and the cleanig rod bouncing. The cleaning rod is the main source of the effect. Nope. It wouldn't. 5.56 makes a little hole, while x39 breaks cinder block apart.
  4. Now that's pretty funny. It's about on par with the Bart Simpson shirts of the 80's/90's!
  5. Here's the ones I use for different things. BlackJack Buffers LLC Red Star Arms Inc. K-VAR Corporation Tantal - Good authentic stuff! Avtomats in Action! 6. Yeah, that was a little surprising to me. I try not to think about it. Maybe it was just a senior moment for Andy!
  7. No kidding. I love the Andy Griffith Show! I own all the released episodes and watch on TVLand every chance I get. I also like Matlock. I'm an old guy in spirit I guess.
  8. I almost forgot he was a black guy sitting in front of a bunch of old white guys...... NO Not racial at ALL!

    Microtech STG?

That's why I'm gonna settle for the 5.56 till the get the 6.8 out..... if they ever do! They do have the 7.62x39, but I can't see it being used in anything but an AK!

    Microtech STG?

Yeah i will definitely be getting a 6.8 barrel and bolt when they are available. Much prefer it over 5.56 any day. You don't gain much with a barrel over "16 in 6.8 anyway so it is fine with me.
  11. Not a revolver guy, so what exactly makes that worth $750?
  12. "Fluff and buff" refers to polishing some of the key internal pieces. "Melting is when people round off outer slide edges to make it look smoother. I wouldn't recommend doing either if you aren't sure what you are doing or can afford another one. BTW GoldenLoki does melting and F&B for decent prices.
  13. Bottom line is the ruling is a Constitutional victory and nothing has changed since the inception of this country to the overall understanding of business, persons, and their position within their Constitutional framework.
  14. No your super-progressive. If they aren't "human" than they can be taxed without regard and regulated without care. Are you for that? Only "people" can be taxed. That's why dogs aren't taxed..... yet.
  15. How bout the media (1A) or militias (2A) or religion? Are they a person? The thing is, these "entities" are made up of a collective of people that share values. The only way to limit them is to limit the people who make up the collective. Our country is based on people getting together to have a sphere of influence. Business is just one of those. The non person argument is nonsense and goes against the very foundation of the Constitution. It's not in the Constitution because it didn't need to be said....... well.... evidently it did for you.
  16. If emoticons/smilies can bring us down, we have bigger problems.
  17. You really need to get a grasp on reality. The government did not "create" corporations. They are businesses. Now the government did create tax laws to manipulate business, ala corporate tax code. That is why career politicians are so dangerous. Over time they eventually figure out how to manipulate private business for their own business. I'm always amused at people calling business/corporations evil and inhuman, all the while claiming we need more business/corporations to employ people and make our "human" economy run. How exactly does that work? :rolleyes:Corporations are people tied to other people through specific business and interest. The only difference between them and the NRA, a Church, or a local Vet group is they produce tangible marketable products. I still believe those invested in the country should be the ones with a voice and buisness is one of those voices. Think about what would happen if buisness were completley nullified politically and all that was left was the "workers". How many government programs would we have then...... Wait that has already been tried, it's called Russia, Cuba, Venezuala, China,......COMMUNISM! You can't reduce one area and not reduce the other. Limiting buisness influence without limiting welfare influence would be catastrophic.... ala Obama (Just a glimpse).
  18. Yeah, but I though it was pretty cool.

    Do You Buy Into This?

I've sold several with low round counts where I know precisely how many went down the pipe. This is simply because I would find a good deal or find something I liked, but after shooting a few boxes of ammo discovered something I didn't like or it didn't fit as well as I thought or many other issues. I would sell it to get something else. I've never had big losses, but I also buy when prices are right or a good deal comes along. I did a cost analysis once and found that I pretty much broke even. It's a hobby to me and I enjoy trying different things. I generally believe most folks.
  20. I like the Uzitalk.com ones the best.
  21. It is was in correlation to a sexual harassment case (Paula Jones) that correlated in all the other issues coming out. It was during that case that the perjury, witness tampering, and obstruction issues came about. They did a good job making it seem like that's all it was about, but it was not.
  22. This is one of the funniest and most disturbing post I've read in a while.
  23. Didn't know that. Guess I never searched that far back!
