  1. $20 + TICS but he only charged me once for the transfer and the Siaga. The way it should be done, but I know of others that charge it for each gun. Either way it is the cheapest in or around Nashville. Phil is a good guy to deal with.
  2. 1/3 AK, 1/3 FN, 1/3 AR! Nice guns! I personally I think AK's are the best "assault rifle" clone going! I've tried 4 AR's and just couldn't get into them like I wanted. I've had 3 Saiga x39's and a Saiga 12 all converted. My first one was a full on AK-103 clone done by Red Jacket. The last two i did my self. The Saiga 12 I converted then sold to a shady car dealer in Knoxville who took it over the top! Just brought home my fourth Wednesday and it will begin its transformation shortly. This one I'll keep! Here's my first before I got rid of the Tapco Galil HG. Here's the second one I did. the last one I did and some cool AK pics.
  3. I'll put the pics up in the AM as they didn't transfer as planned. Anyway, got my STG556 & Saiga 16" x39 on Wednesday. Phil at Bellshire helped me out and got me a great price on the Saiga, not to mention the only place in town that still transfers for $20. The MSAR I had to get from CDNN. They were the only place with a 20" barrel and Ratworx is OUT! The Saiga is going to be converted. This will be my 4th. I just really like building these. I have some plans for this one I've never done before so we'll see how it turns out. going to put a Tantal wire folder on it (if I can find it), and a TWS dogleg rail w/ peep sight. The MSAR is fantastic!!!! Most comfortable handling rifle I've ever held. Definitely needs to be broken in, as it is pretty tight. Trigger is still a bit heavy and gritty, but I'm told that smooths out. I couldn't believe how simple this gun is and how well made it seems. I'll never go back to an AR! Only drawback is the lack of iron sights. Not really anywhere to put them and the sight radius would be so short they wouldn't be much good anyway. I've got a Millet DMS-1 scope mounted on it. It's just as good as the stock optic at x1 (if not better) and magnifies up to x4. Will definitely pony up for better optics down the road, but this will do for now. Can't wait to get her out and play at the range!
  4. Not exactly true. Christianity is the only one to claim exclusivity of salvation through one person that being Jesus Christ outside of works. All others are works based: Islam (claims same God as Christianity, Judaism, ect.), Buddhism, Taoism, Confuscism, Judaism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witness most atheist ............. The works of good/holy/right are all consistent in their measurement across the board. As a Christian if I am wrong, I would be allowed eternity in every other religion based on their own principles of works (Yes, even Islam. Read the Koran). However, if every other religion is wrong only the one who believes in Christ goes to heaven. The Atheist is 50/50. If he's right he's dead, if he's wrong he's in hell Even a ignorant person could see those odds. Something to think about. Back on topic. Their can be vitriol on both sides. Doesn't make it right or justified. You have to call them as they come.
  5. definitely had some holes or unresolved points. The thing he was making, "Chester", how someone of his "skill" set gets caught off guard at the beginning like he did. Nothing that ruined the movie though.
  6. Put one of these on my MSAR and it works pretty well. I've really liked the Barska stuff I have had. It works and doesn't cost a fortune. Works better than the stock MSAR sight that cost $300 plus it has a 1.5-4 magnification. I also like the Millet DMS-1 Tactical Riflescopes BARSKA Sport Optics
  7. I guess Darwinism isn't reserved to just the West!
  8. Now that's some good moderation right there!
  9. Looking through the Magnum Research 2010 catalog and in the back is a gun they are calling the Baby Eagle Fast Action. Appears to be a better clone of the Walther P99 than the S&W version. Priced at $619 at Davidson's. What's up with that. Here is the Davidson's link GalleryofGuns.com - Gun Genie
  10. Cost and to differentiate it from the AR line. My guess is they are trying to broaden their AR market to the hunters that have some issues with so-called "military" type arms. This makes some of the fence riders feel a little better.
  11. +1 The "drawback" to prosperity is that many people who would otherwise not be here make it. Our preditor used to be survival.
  12. These things are alway tough calls. Personally, I think they need to keep the lids tight till they get all they need out of the info available. The other side is that the sheep seem to only understand reality when these things become known. I wouldn't not be surprised if there are more of these "incidents" we have yet to hear of. Our military is good at what they do.
  13. Your question is fine if you're looking to buy. The problem comes when folks ask these question looking to sell. BTW - Gunbroker will give you a pretty good idea of the market on these.
  14. Yeah, not too fond of the roll mark.
  15. I LOATHE that commercial. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way.
  16. People will continue to stand by just like they have already. Is your 401k any different than your income? Isn't it the same thing?
  17. I've had the Mossy your looking at as well a A Pardner Pump (870 clone) and I would go with an 870 or a Pardner Pump. The Pardner Pump is cheaper but on par with the quality of the Remy 870 (same parent company and both are made at the same factory). Really good deal and it won't break you college bank. Got mine at Dicks for $215.

Group outings that include other women/wives is best. For some reason wife tends to not like just going and shooting like i do!
  19. This has been in the works for a while. They are just trying to find the right angle where people won't understand what is really happening till after the fact.
  20. You don't get it. There wasn't a label to tell her to cut it up into smaller pieces, so there is no way she knew could have known the danger.
