  1. yes. Call your ffl BEFORE you order. You may be surprised by their price, willingess to handle it, ect. Some dealers don't ike doing transfers at all so it is always safer to check first. You won't like paying shipping twice if it gets returned.
  2. Eh, the debate gets heated but there are trade offs to both. It's kinda like holsters, the same one doesn't fit or work for everyone.

    FNP-45

While not the .45 I can't wait till they release the FNX line, which is a 9mm and .40 version of the FNP 45 USG. These are fantastic pistols!
  4. Aptly named if you ask me.
  5. Cold steel makes a spear that is a replica of the Masaai spear as well as a Samburu (for throwing). They still us it when hunting lions. Pretty cool thing to see. Spears : Cold Steel (Hunting and Sport) I'm sure your guide is a good one but if you are going with natives DO NOT get pricked or cut with their blades/spears/arrows. They use a toxic poison (never-mind Aids and all the other African goodies!) made from tree bark that will immobilize an elephant in 30 min. and kill you. At least that's what the doctors kept telling us and we didn't test them..
  6. You're in like Flint!

    Any FBI members?

Yup. The vast majority of what the FBI does is in regard to banks and interstate commerce. In other words money. A good example is the war on drugs. It is fought mainly through accounting. Money is followed and traced through business fronts who hide revenue in the numbers. Isn't all that sexy of a job is it? BTW - that is the main way we are fighting terrorism - financials.
  8. Funny how quickly he went from "I'm all that" to "call amboolance" "I can press charges"!

    Any FBI members?

Get into accounting, law, or language preferably middle eastern or go the military route. My brother in law is heading to the FBI and he went the middle eastern route with military experience. He studied at the University of Jerusalem after college for a year and then went to Marine officers school. He just got deployed to Japan doing something in the communications field. The FBI is more communications and accounting than front line "crime fighting" that you see on TV.
  10. There's been a few instances where threads were "cleaned" up and the threads lost continuity and reference. Can "cleaning up" just be reserved for double post, inappropriate content, ect. ? At least leave the post with a message like "content deleted for (insert reason)". Two examples would be: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/newsworthy-reports/36677-police-act-swiftly-after-gun-purchases.html and the Kwik topics threads. Close them fine but why just disappear? Feels like someones trying the ole Jedi mind trick, "You were not here. These are not the post you seek.":D
  11. The outage issues have to do with the installation. If the dishes are positioned correctly anything short of a tornado is not going to knock off the signal completely. 99% percent of the signal complaints I got where fixed by correctly adjusting the dish. Heck, Comcast gets their feed off the same satellites and how often do they go out?
  12. haha! Thanks but I think it is more a combonation of lots of computer time at my jobs, liking to read, and a bit of an obsession to know stuff.
  13. I've sod for both Dish and Direct and i like dish better. I think their menu and features are a little better. Do play the game. If you are switching from cable (or Direct for that matter) just tell Dish you are THINKING about switching and see how much you can get. It's worse than used cars! If you really want to get the bes rates switch every few years between Dish, Direcrt, and cable.
  14. yeah' if you reuse the tg it ca be a lot harder. The bolt on trigger guards are well worth the $18 they cost. I use the old trigger guard as leverage for breaking off the plate. Carolinashooterssupply.com has a few different options. A must buy for coversions!
  15. The side rail came with it. UTG is making rails specifically for the STG that are more cost effective than the MSAR/Ratworx rails. From what I've read they are pretty good.
  16. Good stuff. The same stuff as Wolf black box. Although the prices have gone up and now it is nearly a dollar more a box than from the online dealers.
  17. those are medium and there's not much room left, so i'm guessing the low would be too low.
  18. The MSAR came from CDNN the Saiga I got from Phil at Bellshire. Centerfiresystems.com has the Saiga for $299 delivered ATM.
  19. Bump for pics.
  20. Added the pics.
  21. Thats about the most ingenious idea I've seen in awhile.
  22. Yes
  23. I've found the easiest way is to Dremel the 3 rivet heads off then use a flat blade screwdriver to pry the plate up. Seem to come off pretty easy that way. Of course I don't try to reuse the trigger guard either. After that comes off i use a 1/8th drill bit and dril down the rivet post and finish them off with a punch.
  24. Yes, I have used them all.
