    sw99

The main difference between the Walther P99's and the S&W is that the S&W is DAO. Fairly long and heavy pull like the Sigma as opposed to the M&P or Walther P99 (QA or AS)There are also come cosmetic differences, but nothing major.

    Bobcat!

I've seen a couple of the quail versions and they are pretty neat. My grandfather used to have one in his office. He also had two red foxes that I always thought were beautiful mounts.
  4. Why is it that only 2a is not incorporated while, everything else is? No body in the right mind would try this with 1a.
  5. In addition to what everyone else has suggested, Old Tuscon is pretty neat if you like old westerns. You will see a lot of familiar buildings and mountains. You are right about Tombstone. It is a little disappointing and hokey. The only thing I thought was pretty cool was the Birdcage Theater. Going in the basement that hadn't been touched for all those years was really interesting.
  6. That is one heck of a guard dog! I was expecting a pit or similar not a bulldog! Wonder if it was rabid or something?
  7. That's about the best Ruger P95 photo I've ever seen! Well done!

  11. The only major issue that could arise is if and when you go to sell the property the mortgage companies or insurance companies balk because of lack of permits.
  12. Play time is over!
  13. Uh, nothing here. I could've done without the explicatives but other than that he was pretty right about mindsets and football. The guy was hung out to dry by an ESPN cry baby and a school who didn't want to pay his salary. Could you imagine if Bear Bryant had to put up with some of the non-sense, entitled mentality, whiners that are out there today? Want to be treated like a man? You have to act like a man. The rest is the mole hill.
  14. In Davidson County, yes, you do have to have a permit ...... if they see you putting it up. don't know about Robertson. I give them a call just to be safe. some of those guys can be real jerks if they catch you and they are bored.
  15. How do you like that PEBR mount?
  16. I posted a break down on another thread, but a basic DIY conversion will cost $300 for the rifle and 118 for parts. So $418. That's about as low as you can get. If go for the front end you will more than likely need to pay someone about $320 for parts and labor. Look down at post #7 for more detail. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/long-guns/36523-things-we-need-know-about-saiga-conversions.html

    Bobcat!

tying them to a tree by their tail makes a GREAT preditor calls!
  18. haha, i'm mobile and i only have the post in view and not the side bar. My mistake!
  19. thanks for the response. That makes sense. I didn't mean to sound like i was attacking the mods.
  20. why? It wasn't an atagonistic question. It was simply for continuity of threads. Relax.
  21. your target is fine. As long as they are in the black, you are GTG. Biggest thing that helped me was learning trigger reset. With the Glock that is an easy thing to learn. In addition to everything everybody else said, make sure you aren't using too much finger. just use the middle of the first pad in front of the first knuckle. If that makes sense.
  22. Typically I agree, but I think the STG556 is an exception. Then again I never really fell for the AR.
  23. yeah, I considered the cost difference and had the MSAR not come WAY down in price, I would have gone the SBR AR route. Those FN's are pricey! I do like having the extra velocity and range out of the 20" barrel, especially on the already "weak" 5.56. I guess I was mostly intereted in the NFA laws.
  24. This has probably been discussed, but my search turned up nothing. Since I just got a bullpup STG556, it got me to wondering about the non sensicle NFA laws. Why exactly is a bullpup not considered a NFA iterm when it is shorter than say a 14" AR that has to be registered and a $200 tax paid? Secondly, why doesn't everyone go the bullpup route!
