  1. Had the same question and this helped me.

    MSAR

I don't know. No more than is necessary. I'll have to ask the smith what is doable. I only want to cut back enough so i don't have to use the checknut or washers like it is now.

    MSAR

The E-4 models are standard 1/2x28 The rest of the MSAR's (like ours) are M13×1 left hand thread. I'm gonna get it cut back a bit and re-threaded 1/2x28.

    MSAR

Good looking BP. I got the 20" as well, but haven't got to shoot it yet. Hoping to Friday. I sued the Millet DMS-1scope on mine. Also just got a Levang Comp for when I get the barrel threaded.
  5. +1 well said. That being said I have been surprised before by the American people. I hope I am again.
  6. Just couldn't stomach watching those people spew their arrogant ignorance. I'm just curious what will be the final straw or will the every increasing erosion of freedom continue? Sad day.

    FedEx Vs. UPS

I personally use both depending on price. Sometimes Fedex has been better sometimes UPS. However, UPS has been far better in the gun department for me. As to how the companies are run and the politics of said practice, I really like Fedex model better. I think it has the longer viable lifespan. Now if government would get their sticky fingers out of it (ala unions) and let the money "trickle on down" we would all be better off.
  8. Lancer's are newer and don't have the marketing hype of Magpul behind them. Everything I've seen and heard is that they are better due to their metal reinforcement and design, but I have no real world idea how they work. I like them better, but that is just a "what I've read opinion." I don't think you can go wrong either way. I do like the transparent quality for inspection purposes. The MP window is kinda useless in combat I would think.
  9. I love the look, just don't know about on a slide. It's kinda like the wood grain a AR, beautiful stuff just looks a little mismatched in that particular platform.

    A-team

I actually think Rampage may be the only person that could pull BA off. Good choice. We'll see about the movie. Dukes of Hazard (the movie) was AWFUL! I've watched every episode of the A-Team and it is humorously cheesy. Love it. They never kill anyone, but they can make cars blow blowup and do flips by throwing rocks at them.
  11. Oh it works! Well, at least for the first round! I guess they'll have to come up with another name than the Hush Puppy.
  12. Holy 2+ year thread revive Batman! It threw me off just reading through the last few post and I kept seeing Mars posting. Thought I was seeing a ghost for a minute!
  13. Not exactly how that went. With that, Bill did dig holes that lead to him falling through. Good story regardless of what you think of him.

    Assault Rifle

MSAR STG-E4. Takes AR mags and the conversions will be for this model. They will have the 6.8, 7.62x39, and 5.45x39 out soon. I have the STG556 and love it. Right now you can get an STG556 for under 1k or the E4 for $1200-$1300. Don't know about the FN except they cost A WHOLE lot more.

    Bobcat!

It looks like the cat has possed you! Nice cat BTW.
  16. "To whom much is given, much is required." Just the way it has always been and will always be.
  17. Haha, water, juice, etc. With 3 kids and the 4th due in April, it sure beats a diaper bag with butterflies and flowers! At least that's my justification. Makes me feel better about my murse!
  18. Here's mine. Got my flashlight in the side pocket of my bag. The bag I carry in the car and keep at work. Makes it convenient to switch where I keep my gun. The bag also has a built in holster and double mag carrier The little P07 is my BUG!
  19. Don't know the technicalities, but I'm gonna say this would not be the best event to carry to. Just the amount of "airborne" substances you're likely to pick up could get you in a LOT of trouble.
  20. Guys. The code does not apply to HCP holders or gun ownership. It is no different than the state law, minus the open hand thing. That is why they are removing that part. Mountain out of a molehill.
  21. I don't get why conservative/libertarians whatever have an all or nothing mentality. It is the exact opposite that has allowed the liberal left to make so many advances despite being a small minority. Heller as a small step, Mcdonald will be the next. We have miles to go to get back to where we need to be and this is the start. The reason some of us see these as HUGE advancements is not because something will drastically change overnight, but rather it is the spark that can get the fire going. You got to see the big picture Dave.
  22. Am I missing something? All it is doing is changing the exception for the open handed Army/Navy pistol thing. The whole Kwik thing could have been avoided if he had just carried on his now suspended permit.
  23. Partially true. You really think there is no difference between the '94 congress and the current one? At least with the Republicans we can maneuver back to where we need to be. The Dems have completely lost it. They have self avowed communist and socialist openly in leadership. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama pulled a Putin and dissolved congress if this doesn't go through.
