  1. Maybe I need to find some holes in the backyard!
  2. Yep after the War of Northern Aggression a few prominent southern land owners moved down there formed a little enclave in the interior and to this day celebrate the 4th of July with Rebel flags, fried chicken, and watermelon! That just may be the ticket.
  3. This is news to me. I go into banks all the time with a loaded handgun on my side. Have yet to have an issue.

    Cheatham WMA?

I thinking noon on a Wednesday would be pretty slow?
  5. When a government agency has full access to seize/freeze/control any and every asset you have without court oversight, recourse, or constitutional authority - I don't see a difference.
  6. True, but you have to take all the numbers. When they want to make the insurance companies look bad they tend to play with the claims payout numbers. You have to remember that they also take in money with expectations of paying it out later. It's not like a car company that makes a vehicle and then sells it on demand or order. The only good way to do it it to track closed out yearly financials like a bank.
  7. Anyone shoot here? I NEED to shoot my new STG556 in the AM and this is the closest. Tell me what you think.
  8. I think it will boom for awhile, but the current HCB is designed to make a public option the only thing left standing. No policy limits, no priors disqualification, no pre-existing rates, ect. means there is no way they can stay in business. Right now insurance companies are operating with a 3% profit margin. It won't take long to break that. If this HCB stands the government will be the only healthcare provider.
  9. My BIL was asked to start shooting left handed at the Police academy and low and behold he is a crack shot left hand! He wasn't a newbie to shooting but was to lefty. He even went on to become their DM/sharpshooter.... left handed mind you. Maybe I should switch to lefty.
  10. Seemed to work extremely well up until the last 50 years. So what happened? Government started getting involved and now we are here. The problem is the solution is the problem is the solution. If you invest in insurance companies, just make sure you get out before they disappear. Just give it time.
  11. Weren't you a sniper? Did you guys not mess with/customize AR's? Not trying to be mean just curious.
  12. Why not bump up to .338 Lapua instead of the .300 Win Mag?
  13. $800! Sounds like a heck of a deal!
  14. I REALLY like the TFO sights. They are super bright in the day, where they will be used 99% of the time, and work great at night. I like the yellow and green combo. Much better than the all green ones.

    MSAR

I don't know. No more than is necessary. I'll have to ask the smith what is doable. I only want to cut back enough so i don't have to use the checknut or washers like it is now.

    MSAR

The E-4 models are standard 1/2x28 The rest of the MSAR's (like ours) are M13×1 left hand thread. I'm gonna get it cut back a bit and re-threaded 1/2x28.

Good looking BP. I got the 20" as well, but haven't got to shoot it yet. Hoping to Friday. I sued the Millet DMS-1scope on mine. Also just got a Levang Comp for when I get the barrel threaded.
  18. +1 well said. That being said I have been surprised before by the American people. I hope I am again.
  19. Just couldn't stomach watching those people spew their arrogant ignorance. I'm just curious what will be the final straw or will the every increasing erosion of freedom continue? Sad day.

    FedEx Vs. UPS

I personally use both depending on price. Sometimes Fedex has been better sometimes UPS. However, UPS has been far better in the gun department for me. As to how the companies are run and the politics of said practice, I really like Fedex model better. I think it has the longer viable lifespan. Now if government would get their sticky fingers out of it (ala unions) and let the money "trickle on down" we would all be better off.
  21. Lancer's are newer and don't have the marketing hype of Magpul behind them. Everything I've seen and heard is that they are better due to their metal reinforcement and design, but I have no real world idea how they work. I like them better, but that is just a "what I've read opinion." I don't think you can go wrong either way. I do like the transparent quality for inspection purposes. The MP window is kinda useless in combat I would think.
