  1. Seldom are lies pure fabrication. They all start with slivers of truth and then are cunningly twisted for desired results. These liars sometimes sucker those of us in who seek truth, because we generally don't dismiss the whole due to the parts that are true. why do you think Bil Clinton made such a big hullabaloo about the word "is"? That <1% changed truth to fiction. This is why there is any kind of debate right now about where this country is headed. The truthful man must learn to reject half truths as whole lies or sooner or later we will will slide off into their pit with the rest of the former Democrat/Republican parties.
  2. Looks good. Why not just get an Uzi?
  3. Here is is.
  4. Wish I could find the help target, but IIRC that usually is a a sign of too tight of a grip. The harder you squeeze it will pull it back into the outside of your arm.
  5. I had the same problem when I first started..... and for a while after that. My problem was too much finger on the trigger. I was putting the trigger in a comfortable spot very close to the first joint. When i would pull the trigger I didn't have enough slack left in my finger to pull straight back and i ended up pulling the entire gun left and down as I squeezed. I was also anticipating recoil. Once I realized what I was doing and adjusted for those errors, my accuracy improved dramatically. Another thing that helped me was learning reset. In other words holding the trigger back until back on target then letting out just enough for it to reset then quickly pulling again. Took a lot of the "thinking" out of the beginning of the trigger pull and put it at the end where it doesn't affect accuracy.
  6. What's with all the red?
  7. There are a lot of variables. My family is in business so it's not just opinion. We have dealt with many of these issues.
  8. Don't know about their ability of legal action, however, I can tell you in TN if they do pursue something they will just be fired. There is nothing they can do about that. Unless they have signed contracts with those stipulations they are out of luck. Besides what do they want? Bankrupt the company so that nobody gets anything? Times are hard for companies and employees.
  9. That's pretty cool. I wish they had some digicam or other military camo.
  10. This thing has gone from a reasonable question to WAY over thinking. Maybe you can start a How To for: "Tactical Parking Lot Encounters."You guys need to find a different thread.

    4th Gen Glock 19

If your hands are too small for a G19 you need to move to a packet sized 380.
  12. Any used sale FTF is "as is" unless specifically noted at exchange. The buying party has no recourse without an expressed or implied warranty from the seller. Including anything not necessary opens more doors than it closes. The caveat is a known issue not disclosed. Again something the buyer must prove.
  13. I could only dream of having this problem with my lovely wife!
  14. Look here for good cheap ones http://primaryarms.com/
  15. You could always do it like the did in the Chicago meat houses. Sledge hammer! Just kidding. I've seen and had to put down plenty of cattle, one horse, and numerous small critters and for me it's never easy. Shooting them is nearly always the best way. I've seen people try to be more "caring" and it always ends up being far worse. While obviously they do feel pain, it is more survival instinct than fear or the souls mortality like in humans. That makes a big difference.
  16. I'm amazed at what is considered affordable these days. 30k! Not begrudging anyone for paying it (unless they borrowed it ), just amazed at what these things cost. I am glad Kia is out there with good options, it just makes me sick to see the window stickers of any new vehicle.
  17. They are not all the same ( not that I'm a big fan of Republicans). I get so tired of hearing that. It's an emotional statement not based in reality. BTW - not going after you personally Raul! I hope we never leave Germany. Gives us a base of op right in the middle of Europe.
  18. They wouldn't do that! looks like ACORN is running the numbers. It would be funny if it weren't so ugly.
  19. I know of at least two cases (one in Memphis and one in Nashville) where people were shot PB with a .22 in the forehead and it ricocheted leaving only minor contusions. The one in Memphis was a gas station attendant and he said when the guy shot him and it ricocheted the perp crapped his pants and ran away. Back on topic, I won't discharge my firearm in city limits without authorization. Just not worth the hassle.
  20. I'm pretty sure you can't carry your weapon. There may be a way to get approval to transport, but from what I've read it is pretty involved to get permission.
  21. While entertaining it is a bad argument. Naturally doctors are going to have vastly more deaths because their interaction is generally with sick, dying, or medically needy people. At first glance it seems a good argument, but it is apples and oranges. It really skews the facts. Just a thought.
  22. I can't say what I want to about this. How in the world can people argue against the DP! Police: Man tortured 4-year-old to death for wetting his pants - CNN.com
  23. True, but being undefined I read as a No. If you don't have a defense you don't have a anything.
  24. No drinking and carrying in TN. The "legally drunk" limit only applies to driving. As far as HCP a .01 is illegal. IIRC
  25. the guys SUV? Now that would have been stupid.
