  1. What I find telling is the so called "victim" siad she only acted the way she did because everyone was laughing. When she got home she was "distraught" and "crying". The only problem is she repeatedly went back time and time again causing the issue and then back into him at the end when he "hit" her. They should have all been lined up and spanked IMO ...... by their parents. Had I been seen on that video the last concern my parents would have had was the teachers actions in that video.
  2. hmm, Interesting. If you go with the PF you loose the accessible holster option, but gain space. The Sitka seems more versatile. I guess it depends on what you are going to use it for. Camping or extended outside activities I would go with the PF. For everyday versatility and convenience I'd go with the Sitka. Also remember the more space you have the more you will carry. Not always a good thing
  3. You know I hear that a lot. My question is: How brilliant are you if you can teach quantum physics but can't change your spark plugs? Point being, the truly smart and gifted are those that can take the complex understood by few and make it understandable to many. There is a lot of truth behind the old adage about school teachers: Those that can - do. Those that can't - teach.
  4. Here is Uker's thread http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/long-guns/16601-alexander-arms-6-5-grendel.html
  5. I shouldn't find it surprising that the entire article is written with quotes and statements from gun control advocates and organizations with only select referrals to the NRA and opencarry.org. It states the facts and then dismisses them as unclear becasue their POV can't understand how they could possibly be connected. Pure idiocy and lack of critical thinking.
  6. You need to do a little more research. Saiga's/AK's are the pinnacle of reliability. I've never heard of any problems with Saiga mags on any caliber. BTW RAA is the importer for the Saiga, which is an importable Russian AK.
  7. It's up to $50 now, at the place that shall remain nameless.
  8. +1 Bellshire. There is no other for transfers. Phil is a good guy to deal with.
  9. Just saw this on K-Var's site. This would be perfect for Nashville! Pretty cool!K-VAR Corporation :: Accessories :: Carrying Cases, Pouches, Slings :: LWU070112C01 I still dream of a guitar arsenal case like in Desperado!
  10. They must be offering a lot of money for that job. I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to be on top of that mess.
  11. I don't know if I'm supposed to laugh at the joke or cry over the ignorance.
  12. Not yet. I just got the new E-4 stock in today! I moved the SPARC back and used the lower mount. I think it will work better that way. I'm also going to try a Phantom 5C2 and see how that goes. I really like the Phantom. I hope to get to the range soon, but with the baby due this week it will probably be awhile.
  13. I'm pretty sure that's one of the primary questions on E-Harmony. So not important. If something like that's a deal breaker for you, you've got a long and lonely road ahead.:D
  14. I've had several PF9's and played with both the taurus 380 and 9mm. The 709 is smaller feeling than the PF9. As hard as it seems to be to find 380 ammo and the fact it can be finicky, I would stick to the more reliable, verisatle, and available 9mm. My pick would be the 709. However you might want to also consider CS, which is a huge nod to KT.
  15. Wouldn't the fact that the gun was confiscated and verified by the Sheriffs department proof that the gun was stolen? What else are they expecting you to prove? Who are you dealing with? Gun store or individual?
  16. Seldom are lies pure fabrication. They all start with slivers of truth and then are cunningly twisted for desired results. These liars sometimes sucker those of us in who seek truth, because we generally don't dismiss the whole due to the parts that are true. why do you think Bil Clinton made such a big hullabaloo about the word "is"? That <1% changed truth to fiction. This is why there is any kind of debate right now about where this country is headed. The truthful man must learn to reject half truths as whole lies or sooner or later we will will slide off into their pit with the rest of the former Democrat/Republican parties.
  17. Looks good. Why not just get an Uzi?
  18. Wish I could find the help target, but IIRC that usually is a a sign of too tight of a grip. The harder you squeeze it will pull it back into the outside of your arm.
  19. I had the same problem when I first started..... and for a while after that. My problem was too much finger on the trigger. I was putting the trigger in a comfortable spot very close to the first joint. When i would pull the trigger I didn't have enough slack left in my finger to pull straight back and i ended up pulling the entire gun left and down as I squeezed. I was also anticipating recoil. Once I realized what I was doing and adjusted for those errors, my accuracy improved dramatically. Another thing that helped me was learning reset. In other words holding the trigger back until back on target then letting out just enough for it to reset then quickly pulling again. Took a lot of the "thinking" out of the beginning of the trigger pull and put it at the end where it doesn't affect accuracy.
  20. There are a lot of variables. My family is in business so it's not just opinion. We have dealt with many of these issues.
  21. Don't know about their ability of legal action, however, I can tell you in TN if they do pursue something they will just be fired. There is nothing they can do about that. Unless they have signed contracts with those stipulations they are out of luck. Besides what do they want? Bankrupt the company so that nobody gets anything? Times are hard for companies and employees.
  22. That's pretty cool. I wish they had some digicam or other military camo.
  23. This thing has gone from a reasonable question to WAY over thinking. Maybe you can start a How To for: "Tactical Parking Lot Encounters."You guys need to find a different thread.
