7.62x39 is essentially a 30-30. Taken more game in north America than any other round. The .300 BO only advantage is subsonic. 5.56 is great on small deer and down, but looses on the bigger game. Open range caliber? Not the greatest. Anything under 200 yrds and any brush/cover? x39 As to the 7.62x39 accuracy, Handload a x39 the same as the .300 BO and the ballistics are clear. . The accuracy nonsense is comparing steel cased mil surplus out of an AK/SKS to handloaded match AR 300BO platforms. Also, shoot it out of a .310-.311 barrel instead of a .308. Better range, power, stability, consistency, and reliability. Much of it has to do with the neck of the x39 and the case to handle the appropriate charge that the 300BO /5.56 case can not handle. ad closed Top End Haibike Xduro E-mountain bike
Smith replied to Smith's topic in Non Firearm Classifieds
Just to clarify, this does not pedal for you. It's a pedal assist. Imagine going up a steep climb but you pedal like you going down a gentle decline. It's a cool sensation. You see the climb and you get ready to power up ... Nope you just relax and pedal up like a super blood doped Lance Armstrong. If you want a normal bike experience, turn it off with the handlebar control. Want to go farther, but you ran out of energy? Turn it on and keep going. Easy on the fly left thumb control switches through the assist control. -
Will do.

Glad you didn't. He loves it! I got to say it's a fun bike to ride. Compared to my 800 lb Strat, it's nimble on the switchbacks and keeps up just fine on the highway! Now, I gotta find my younger son a bike. They both took the MSF course this past weekend and he's getting his DL in a few weeks.

Like it says, I have 2414 rnds of loose 7.62x39 ammo for sale. It is mostly steel cased Wolf 123g. There may be some Wolf 154g SP mixed in. Comes in a 20mm ammo can and a 50 cal plastic ammo can. The two plastic bags are bonus. 1 bag/box of Norinco/Chinese (very good stuff!) and the other is a bag of blanks. $800 Nashville Area.

My oldest boy (17) and I rode from Hermitage around Center Hill Lake and back using back roads this past Monday. Great ride! He's loving his Suzuki S40 and I love my Strat. Love riding with my son.

I'd have to go with the Walther PDQ compact. Of course, I always have my ever present PJK-9HP/Hi-Power. That one may not be my current #1, but it will never leave.

I'm a big fan of VZ grips. https://vzgrips.com/shop-all/semi-auto-pistol-grips/browning-hi-power-grips/ That being said I have some Harriet Cocobolo grips I'm not using if you're interested.
