  1. Haha, no need for that. Only that one part was addressed specifically to you.
  2. No they aren't and it is simple. It doesn't fit their agenda. They 100% pushed Obama's election and now can only loose what little credibility they have left with his demise. We are no longer in an age of domestic politics where we battle for ideas within the same realm of general understanding. We have entered full fledged into the world of ideology. It is the same struggle as in WWI, WWII, and the Cold War. The only difference is that now it is purely domestic. I am reminded how we continue to get the leaders we have when there are those that voluntarily choose to close their eyes to the reality around them, simply to not be bothered with making difficult and hard decisions. Remember as Rome crumbled the mobs cheered in delirious oblivion at the Coliseums. I find it interesting that you continually mitigate the Obama agenda while calling out conservative issues as over the top. Maybe next you can take up defending Carter's administration There is no such thing as a liberal conservative. Sooner or later they realize it's like calling themselves an atheist Christian.
  3. Do they not think these things through or just think it won't matter? I can't tell if they are inept or to arrogant to car.
  4. Not sure how different it is than any other finish using molybdenum type finishes or Teflon finishes. Although, I wouldn't say they don't need ANY lube but a lot less and a lot less often.
  5. Even if it did happen in the future, it would still have to be ratified by Congress.
  6. Thanks . 200 yrds, 100 with a 16 yrd old in tow is a heck of a swim for a guy in full clothes! Nice job. Not really sure what "snakes" had to do with the story, but OK.
  7. I can't say ATM ... They're watching.
  8. If you are trying to get a match accuracy type rifle, it seems decent. If you are just wanting a good AR, there are better deals out there. IMO if I were getting a match type rifle, I wouldn't be getting a wylde chamber or a fixed carry handle upper. Kind of defeats the purpose of all the other tweaks. Bottom line for me .... PASS.
  9. I find it humorous that the only argument they can come up with against these kind of measures is racism. It can't be legality, constitutionality, or democracy in play. It has to be racism!
  10. I've had a couple Walther P99QA's, several Glock's, XD's, and currently carry my second M&P9. The QA trigger is rather heavy and long compared to the M&P. The reset is also noticeably different longer. The QA is more a true DA feel where the M&P/Glock is more single action feeling. This is probably the reason it was much easier to shoot the Glock's. There are some spring changes you can do to the 99QA, but you usually end up having light primer strike issues. There is also no way to fix the reset. While I really like the Walther P99 series, it is a European gun made with a Euro trigger. I will say that the Walther versions are MUCH smoother than the S&W 99's. I know they are supposed to be the same, but they are not. Also, getting a few hundred round through the gun will greatly improve the trigger. They need a lot of shooting to smooth out to their best potential. As far as gunsmith work on the 99, good luck. The linkage is fairly complex and I don't know of any who will work on it or can work on it.
  11. I like flashlights, but WOW you guys got a LOT of money in those things! I've gotten into building my own with dealextreme stuff. Same guts as those higher ends, but I can make what i want and not spend a fortune. I've had good luck with them. I've got several of these. Not flashy, but they work as well as any Surefire I've ever seen.
  12. wouldn't be a very even split. . Besides, it would give us a chance to fix Kali, NY, and Illinois all at once.
  13. I have notice that when I resize my browser that pictures tend to stay a certain size and overflow out of the window.
  14. It is clearer than ever why our forefathers thought only land owning head of households should vote. How different a country we'd be.

    Futurama

I really like that show. However it got a little weird when the episodes turned into mini-series type things.
  16. I think the poll over simplifies the scenario, but keeping that in mind ... I'm going #1 That is the assumption BG+gun is clear and the situation is clear, which would in that case automatically include #2 .... other wise maybe #3.
  17. I like it. It takes a minute to adjust to, but it is very easy to read.
  18. I would be willing to bet that he won't sign because he knows Mexico will defend him against the death penalty. We already know they won't extradite unless the death penalty is off the boards.

Interesting. Care to say where you worked? Not trying to be nosy, just interested. Other than the price the only thing that really raised my eyebrows was the neoprene bedding. Can that handle barrel heat buildup and wouldn't that be a little too flexible?

Maybe, if you don't factor in the cost of the machine, labor, bulk raw material, facilities, distribution and shipping, ect.
  21. so when is the absent mom going to be on the news crying about how her baby girl (AKA - aggravated assault, grand theft auto, assaulting a PO, resisting arrest,....) was abused by the evil racist police? Just sayin.
  22. Looks like the HOURS I spent at that location and on the phone with their their legal department made a difference. Glad it worked for you. I found the clerks were generally helpful, but my first couple visits I think "gun scare" affected them. The last few times they were more business as usual. Thankfully DHL is dead for domestic purposes. DO NOT USE!
  23. That should probably answer the question of why to carry at church.
  24. Nah, you're right. He should have just left when they resisted and apologized on his way out. That would have definitely made the situation better. BTW next time I get a pulled over for speeding I'm just gonna run around the car till the LE gives up chasing and I'm gonna have a recording going so that if he lays hands on me I can sue for all the cities worth. After all it's only a speeding ticket.

Website says an 18" barrel would have an overall length of 26.5"! Very cool! Cost is $1275 but comes with bi-pod, VG, PG, and tools.
