  1. When you have no moral compass you get to decide right and wrong to suit your desires. Welcome to a liberal government.
  2. Glad to see some real punishment handed out to these guys.
  3. Amazing. Unfortunately, her vote counts the same as mine. On a side note I like Savage for the most part but his voice and personality grate on me pretty quick.
  4. Wife's out of town with the kids so I had to head to our nearest Kroger (Madison) to pick up a few things for dinner. As I head to the checkout lanes I'm suddenly aware that there is some reason for concern. Clerks running around talking frantically to each other and abandoning lanes. I immediately start scoping for possible threats and escape routes still unsure of what could have the whole front of the store in such a bustle. The reason for the panic? Turns out the EBT system was down! Never mind cash, checks, debit, and credit cards still worked. The whole store had come to a near halt. The reality that that one system could cause such a panic with cashiers asking if the store was closing and wondering what to do next sadly reminded me of the state of our ever changing economy. Evidently without food stamp business there isn't much business. Stay vigilant and VOTE American!
  5. Only $2825 ATM. What a bargain!
  6. She's actually going to be at the restaurant, Southern Bred, located above Eastside. Although ES is sponsoring it.

    CZ Question

Fantastic guns. Heavy but it is all steel.
  8. Essentially that's what the founding fathers thought as well. I agree, however you would have to define tax. Property? Income, which is illegal to begin with, sales?
  9. Amazing this is even a topic in 2010. Have I been gone so long that I've forgotten Herenton was such a racist idiot?
  10. KT's are well known to need a 300-500 rnd break in. However, I've had 3 PF9's at various times and all of them worked from day one. That being said KT's CS is the industry standard. If you want to send it in they will make it work or in a lot of cases send a new one that works.
  11. The scarring stuff is what really makes my skin crawl.

    IWI TAVOR

There is a huge thread in the bullpup subforum at arf.com about it. Started as CD talking about their plans and has since developed into rumor mill central.

    RFB

I've seen them, when available, for $1200-$1900 and a few idiots asking for more. That's the issue right now with the RFB. When one pops up it goes pretty fast.
  14. sounds like you're on the right track. I've had several XD9's and I really liked them. Carried them everyday when I had them. The bore axis just didn't work for me, but that is a personal preference issue. Other have no issue with it. good luck and look forward to hearing your comparison with the SR9c.
  15. I should add that pre-travel and creep affect accuracy in similar but different ways. The longer the pre-travel the more time you have to get off target. It also creates more movement while in the initial stages of firing the gun. Creep affects accuracy similarly but because you have to exert extra pressure it makes it more likely to move you off target. This is why people with DA triggers will "stage" their trigger when firing for accuracy. What that means is they pull the trigger and hold it until it is about to break, center their sights, and then finish the the pull with an immediate break.
  16. Pre-treavel/take-up is the amount of distance you have to pull the trigger before you feel resistance. Creep refers to the distance it takes for the trigger to break/fire after the pre-travel or resistance is felt. Ideally you want minimal pre-travel and no creep. Ideally when you pull the trigger it should "POP" immediately. Some describe it as a glass rod instantly snapping. Pressure, pop, reset.

    Whale Wars

Yeah you are and poking at 6.8 at the same time! Nice try though. Maybe you should have a go at politics! BTW - It's all in good fun.

    Whale Wars

I think you just made 6.8's point.

    Whale Wars

You do know that there are documented cases of people surviving inside large fish and whales for more than one day, right? Just saying.
  20. CLR eats blue. CLP is good to go.

    Whale Wars

Yep, they made a big deal about him wearing his bullet proof vest and never going outside because of how dangerous it was for him. I believe it was proven to be staged.
  22. Seriously guy. Prison is supposed to be a bad scary place you don't want to go. A lot of the things that are "allowed" to happen in prison are due to the fact that the country club mentality of the left have turned prisons into adult daycare's. You keep saying that prisons function is to separate convicts from society. That may be one aspect but not the only one and it is a bit naive description of prison. Jail is a much better suited to you definition. The other aspects are punishment, rehabilitation (obviously works ), and public safety. Personally rehabilitation, if any, should come after prison but that's another debate. Personally I find my kids respond better to correction when I'm not giving them candy and free TV when they're in timeout.
  23. Photoguy's wins it for me but, SHbicycle ..... what were you thinking?!!!!
  24. Funny how that happens with some issues.
  25. Straight out of the Justice Dept.
