  1. Yeah, after reading his website I feel bad for the guy. He obviously has something wrong upstairs. I will have to say at least he has the guts and courage to try to make his convictions mean something.
  2. Why in the world would they not have those in-hand? Kinda like McDonald's discontinuing hamburgers.
  3. Question about HCP suspension. If an employee is fired and their significant other makes verbal threats is that grounds for their HCP to be suspended? Situation is this: The place I work had an employee fired and the person fired made specific threats towards two current employees on behalf of their significant other. If a report is made would that trigger a HCP suspension or is that a different process? I personally would rather that be added leverage, since I would be the first to encounter the individual if he were to follow through. Just curious and while I am technically not armed at work, I always have the means to "protect" myself if need be.
  4. Thanks I was on my phone and couldn't remember it. I was also excited to see someone else mention Zulu! Awesome movie. As I read the list, I'm finding there aren't too many war movies I DON'T like!
  5. just about all the ones mentioned i would agree with. However, I would have to add "The Dirty Dozen" to the list. love those movies. Rambo series, Patton, Kelley's Heroes, Behind Enemy Lines, The Kingdom.
  6. From the video it looks like you'd never see it coming.
  7. In a long gun yes, but in a handgun not so much. Like Tim said, by the time you've hit the trigger stop the bullet is long gone. However, the more wiggle you have the longer it takes to require the target which does affect accuracy because you start rushing. From what I've read, that is where speed comes from. The time it takes to get back on target, not necessarily the speed of the trigger. Big reason why the reset trigger technique is so fast.
  8. I've not shot one, but of the many I've handled the quality was on the lower end. Similar to a Wasr (which in essence it is) with some really cheap furniture. Of course all that is cosmetic on an AK and doesn't affect any thing other than pride.
  9. I sure do like those. Lets us know how it is when you get it. I have the Recon 1 tanto and really like it.
  10. However, you could always "rent" one indefinitely. J/K
  11. Used to they would print most of their prices except for the FN prices. I was told it was because they are a FN distributor and didn't want to make the local stores mad. Didn't work i don't think.

  13. We agree, but for a more philosophical approach - Generally speaking (in the context of the OP) conservatism is governed by fairly rigid principles of right and wrong as laid out in the Constitution. So we do have a very clear moral compass. That's why it is so easy to spot when we are off or violate those principles and liberals LOVE to call us on it. Liberalism is rooted in current ideas and perception of emotions (hedonism) so how ever they feel at the moment guides their ideology. It's like nailing jello to the wall.
  14. wow! That's a whole lot of assuption and reading between the lines. I said government. I didn,t differentiate.
  15. When you have no moral compass you get to decide right and wrong to suit your desires. Welcome to a liberal government.
  16. Glad to see some real punishment handed out to these guys.
  17. Amazing. Unfortunately, her vote counts the same as mine. On a side note I like Savage for the most part but his voice and personality grate on me pretty quick.
  18. Wife's out of town with the kids so I had to head to our nearest Kroger (Madison) to pick up a few things for dinner. As I head to the checkout lanes I'm suddenly aware that there is some reason for concern. Clerks running around talking frantically to each other and abandoning lanes. I immediately start scoping for possible threats and escape routes still unsure of what could have the whole front of the store in such a bustle. The reason for the panic? Turns out the EBT system was down! Never mind cash, checks, debit, and credit cards still worked. The whole store had come to a near halt. The reality that that one system could cause such a panic with cashiers asking if the store was closing and wondering what to do next sadly reminded me of the state of our ever changing economy. Evidently without food stamp business there isn't much business. Stay vigilant and VOTE American!
  19. Only $2825 ATM. What a bargain!
  20. She's actually going to be at the restaurant, Southern Bred, located above Eastside. Although ES is sponsoring it.

    CZ Question

Fantastic guns. Heavy but it is all steel.
  22. Essentially that's what the founding fathers thought as well. I agree, however you would have to define tax. Property? Income, which is illegal to begin with, sales?
  23. Amazing this is even a topic in 2010. Have I been gone so long that I've forgotten Herenton was such a racist idiot?
  24. KT's are well known to need a 300-500 rnd break in. However, I've had 3 PF9's at various times and all of them worked from day one. That being said KT's CS is the industry standard. If you want to send it in they will make it work or in a lot of cases send a new one that works.
