  1. On the buffer ... This is the sticky part of a dedicated 9mm AR. It's best to get the longer 9mm dedicated buffer. If not you need to add a few quarters or a spacer to the tube to prevent over travel. The over travel will cause the bolt to slam too hard and cause issues. This does a pretty good job coving it https://blowback9.wordpress.com/2021/08/09/what-9mm-buffer-do-i-need/
  2. I've run a Stern's 9mm Glock adapter in an Anderson lower for some time. I've had many dedicated lowers and have sold them and stuck with the Stern's. I much prefer the Stern mag release to dedicated lowers. LRBHO works well. I've also I used a Spikes adapter and Hahn adapters for Uzi and Colt mags. They work well but mags become an issue and they can be a pain to get right. Stay far away from the Promag and Sylvan adapters. They are cheap for a reason. The Endomags are a great alternative to an adapter block. If I didn't have so many Glock mags, I would have gone that route. https://getstern.com/products/magazine-adapters/ For the upper I've had a FM side charger and have loved it. https://fm-products.com/products/ Ballistically, at about 7.5-8" you've kinda maxed out the 9mm. Longer than that and you gain nothing.
  3. The Korean mags are KCI. I've run them in a variety of things, including Glock, and they run fine. ETS mags work well and you can sometimes find them cheap.
  4. Yes and ... no. Yes, in that the quality and resell are typically there. No, in the fact that most of the quality far exceeds the limits a normal recreational shooter will need or even approach using. It's kinda like saying is a Shelby Cobra Mustang worth it over a regular Mustang.
  5. Didn't get a PM, but I'll send you one and see if you can respond there.
  6. Got this last year and love it! Sadly, I have too many and other more pressing needs. Been to the range twice and runs fantastic. I have the factory RMR plate as well as the C&H Precision RMR plate. The C&H is a much better plate. It has a FO suppressor height front sight black rear. and It comes with a C&G holster and the a Garret Silent Thunder STX 2.0 holster (best holster ever), 5 Walther OEM 15 rnd mags, box, and all original accessories. Optic not included $Sold . Nashville area. Holosun 407-GR2 available for $200 extra. Only trade interest would be a Glock 19 Gen 4/5 with cash.
  7. Bump with a price drop. I just need this out of storage. Parts alone would exceed the price.
  8. Gas prices are speculative. Gas stations buy it from the distributor at the price at the time. The variance comes from when the gas station bought the reserves. Some stations buy up front when prices are low on contract and so pump prices stay lower longer. Some have to buy when they can and buy at the price of the moment. It's no different than any other commodity.
  9. Selling my sons 2003 Dodge Durango SLT. It's 4.7 V8 with 191K miles. Would be a great trailer/boat hauler.
  10. Gonna bump this. I have had interest, but would prefer to sell through TGO rather than Craigslist, FB, etc. BTW - you can get aftermarket Bosch battery packs for this is you like. There is a 400 series (OEM) and a 500 series. The 500 series is a larger battery. The OEM only has 184 miles on it.
  11. It's an odd balance that the more "safe" and better handling cars become, the more unsafe people tend to drive them. It's like my wife and the back up camera. Can't tell you how many things she's nearly hit because she will not turn her head and look with her own eyes. Helps are helps not a substitute for what good gave you.
  12. It's great riding weather! Enjoy the new ride!
  13. Might be a good fit for my family
  14. I have a degree in history and have taught history. Googling history may be part of the problem.
  15. Your contradicting you first post I replied to. If they want out, they are and have been let out from under the crown. Not sure why her death would be a celebratory occasion for any of those places.
  16. 7.62x39 is essentially a 30-30. Taken more game in north America than any other round. The .300 BO only advantage is subsonic. 5.56 is great on small deer and down, but looses on the bigger game. Open range caliber? Not the greatest. Anything under 200 yrds and any brush/cover? x39 As to the 7.62x39 accuracy, Handload a x39 the same as the .300 BO and the ballistics are clear. . The accuracy nonsense is comparing steel cased mil surplus out of an AK/SKS to handloaded match AR 300BO platforms. Also, shoot it out of a .310-.311 barrel instead of a .308. Better range, power, stability, consistency, and reliability. Much of it has to do with the neck of the x39 and the case to handle the appropriate charge that the 300BO /5.56 case can not handle. Pretty good overview https://thebiggamehuntingblog.com/300-blackout-vs-7-62x39/
  17. You mean like the most recent and largest ... India? or how about Hong Kong?
  18. Not many 21 yr olds dedicate their lives to something other than themselves. Much less fulfill that promise for the next 78 years of their life. If for nothing else, that is worth admiring. I think the apples off that tree ran way down the hill, into a river, and floated away.
  19. Just to clarify, this does not pedal for you. It's a pedal assist. Imagine going up a steep climb but you pedal like you going down a gentle decline. It's a cool sensation. You see the climb and you get ready to power up ... Nope you just relax and pedal up like a super blood doped Lance Armstrong. If you want a normal bike experience, turn it off with the handlebar control. Want to go farther, but you ran out of energy? Turn it on and keep going. Easy on the fly left thumb control switches through the assist control.
  20. Haibike (Germany) Xduro Fullseven RX (2015). This was bought for an older gentleman's wife and she rode it very little. Has 183 miles total on it. Comes with a Titan portable work stand Has a few handling marks but over all is in excellent condition.Retailed new for $5500 new. Looking for $1000 or OBO. Nashville. For full specs: https://electricbikereview.com/haibike/xduro-fullseven-rx/
  21. Glad you didn't. He loves it! I got to say it's a fun bike to ride. Compared to my 800 lb Strat, it's nimble on the switchbacks and keeps up just fine on the highway! Now, I gotta find my younger son a bike. They both took the MSF course this past weekend and he's getting his DL in a few weeks.
