Jesse Ventura is the right's equivalent of Code -Pink. He can be brilliant and completely ignorant in the same sentence. I will say, he at least believes what he says unlike the Fox guy who got caught in a moment of emotional responses. Jesse reminds me of an old guy I used to know. He knew nothing yet had an answer for everything and there was no reasoning with him once his mind was set.

It can be a good thing, but you have to stay on top of things and document everything. Make sure you keep enough cash on hand to repair anything necessary. Make regular visits (at least once a month) and keep a log. The law tends to hold landlords to the letter of the law and shows grace to tenants. The theory is the LL is able to financially able to repair but the tenants are put in a position of jeopardy since they can only rent to begin with and are assumed to be at a disadvantage from the start.

I should say that particular Judge was very liberal and it was very clear that any landlord was a slumlord in her mind. My dad figuered suing would just cost him more and he would never get anything out of her.

That would seem fair but I can tell you, just as with Strickj's experience, laws are HEAVILY favored to the renters and are anything but fair .... to landlords. And yes, landlords are often expected to carry 90% of the responsibility and liability for idiot renters lack of responsibility. My dad had a renter in Memphis (section 8) that he couldn't evict even though the renter was 5 months in the rear. Not to mention she had decided to open a salon in the house and had her boyfriend start ripping out walls and cobbling together plumbing and electrical for the "salon". Of course they didn't finish and then refused to pay rent because the plumbing and electrical were now not up to code. The judge wouldn't allow my father to speak at the eviction hearing and gave her another 6 months and required my dad to pay code violation fines (for her work). Needless to say that was the last of his renting property endeavors.

The 609 is the older Millennium double stack subcompact. It is considerably wider than the 709. The 709 is very slim, more along the lines of a Kel-Tec PF9 where the 609 is more along the lines of a Glock 26 or XDSC

Although not mentioned or usually thought of in this regard I'll throw out The Edge. His uniqueness and simplicity are timeless, different and not easily copied. He makes a guitar literally sing. I know he can play conventionally with just about anyone, but few can do what he does with a guitar.

I started with nsnate02, which goes back to the dial-up days when they automatically combined parts of your first name and numbers to generate your e-mail address. I used it for awhile but it became weird when I'd run into TGO'ers in reali life and introduce myself as nsnate02. Made me feel like some uber computer geek about to trade Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I changed it to "Smith" because that's my last name and it's about as simple and generic as they come.

I would want to keep two ...My CS Kukri and my CS Recon 1. If I had to have only one I and it was because of some disaster (man made or natural) I would probably stick with the Kukri.

haha, just being the odd ball. Never really cared for Zeppelin all that much. Of course it's subjective, but globally I would say U2 has had a much bigger influence on a much more diverse audience than Zepplin ever had. Either way something has to be said about the few artist than can stand the test of time and still keep going. Whether that be Zepplin, U2, the Stones, etc.

No, but I will! I had an FNP and loved it except for the DA/SA trigger. It was really good, but I much prefer the SA cocked and locked. I also like that they redesigned the safety lever. The FNP safety, while never failing, always felt below the quality of the FN pistol. While generally not a two-tone fan, the FNX is one two-tone pistol that is really nice looking IMO.
