  1. D&T Arms just got some SR40's in and they are well below the prices above.
  2. Well, they arrived. SR40 duo-tone in all it's glory! D&T Arms.
  3. Here are my latest completed .... well, mostly. Saiga converted AK. I'll probably end up with the Ace stock. Just wanted to try something different. I'm also waiting on TWS to release his scope mount rail to complete the rifle. It was also my first attempt at paracord wrap. Need some more practice on that. Here is the semi finished AR. The scope and mounts are make do's for the moment. Haven't decided what I want up there permanently yet. Spikes mid-length 1:7 upper, DS lower (may change), YHM Spectre Diamond HG, YHM lo-pro GB, YHM 5C2 FH, and Magpul for the rest.
  4. Don't know about that but D&T's got one coming either by Friday or early next week. The two-tone SR40. I really like the SR9 so I can't wait to see the 40 for comparison.
  5. Good deal. BTW D&T Arms in Goodletsville keeps thm in stock.
  6. D&T Arms 805 RIVERGATE PARKWAY GOODLETTSVILLE , TN 37072 Phone: (615) 448-6293 Fax: (615) 448-6982 E-Mail: david.rohman@dandtarms.net
  7. D&T is in fact a stocking dealer for Crossbreed. We have several available ATM. Although we ran through our first shipment pretty quick, David tripled the second order and they should be here next week. Glad you enjoy it Spoolie and glad you guys didn't have to fight over it!
  8. To use the internal block adapter from Ace you have to cut off the rear tang on the Saiga. It isn't too difficult, other than the fact the metal is very hard. Here is a picture to give you an idea. The rear tang I'm talking about is in the right side of the picture.
  9. While practically true you are supposed to pay tax on anything bought, even from an individual.

    Dangerous Dogs

Yes, some Pits are raised for fighting, more than most, but there is a reason for that. Pits may not bite more than other breeds but when they do there is usually massive damage or death. Add to that they do bite a lot and it is a recipe for disaster.
  11. I'll do my best to be there with my wife. I've got 3 guns I haven't got to shoot yet and I need to put them through their paces!

    Denied Purchase

I just recently had a lady denied when I ran the check and we faxed the appeal. A couple hours later the TICS screen suddenly had her approved and didn't show that a denial had been issued. Needless to say the boss called and they said it should have been delayed due to waiting on another agency. Weird. I also know another guy who got denied because of a traffic violation from 10 years prior where the paperwork where the court had dismissed it never got filed. It got cleared on appeal within the 15 day limit. With all the identity fraud going on these days I expect to see this more frequently. While not a firearm purchase, once my mom had to go down to the jail in Memphis for about 4 hours in cuffs, while they determined the many warrants in her name where not actually her. Turns out in Memphis there were a lot of Sharon Smith's with a lot of warrants. funny thing is my mom is about as straight laced, squeaky clean, preachers wife as they come. LOL
  13. I'll play. I'm Nathan and this is me and my family.
  14. I get to look at them everyday! They are built to shoot and are absolutely beautiful. I also know where a even nicer Chad Kandros Custom Commander resides ... right next to these two beauties! Chad does incredible work.

    Lay-a-way Plan

D&T Arms in Goodletsville does layaway and since someone asked about terms, it's 60 days with half-down. There are no fees or interest as long as it's completed within the 90 days. There is a 25% re-stocking fee for canceled layaways. It is actually a pretty popular plan for folks around here. A lot of folks have been reserving their Christmas presents this way.
  16. I agree with his philosophy but find it somewhat misplaced in regard to the Glock. If anything the Glock is the most Hollywood gun of them all!
  17. Like this? It's in German but you will get the picture. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyq90LEZe4k
  18. I absolutely love these. They have none of the drawbacks of muffs (hot, uncomfortable, big, heavy ect. ) and yet have a better protection rating (26-31 db) than most muffs (24-25 db) and still allow easy conversation without electronics that could fail or the annoying echo. I tried them thinking they were a gimmick, but they are anything but. ZEM Hearing Protection - SensGard or the Allen Sound Sensor Hearing Protection - Allen Sound Sensor Shooting Hearing Protection
  19. Folding stocks are a non-issue (on rifles). ATF measures with the stock extended, so as long as it is 26" with the stock extended you're fine.
  20. What's with the hijacker and his side ways mask? Is this the new pirate look?
  21. It's called CHMR now and here is the website CHMR It is indeed in buisness and worth the drive.
  22. To build you will need to be able to weld, heat treat, have a proper bending jig, some specialty tools, and a rivet tool. If you want to build one this guy has some tools to make it easier. Toth Tool & Engineering, LLC However, with all the money that setup tools cost you would have to build several rifles to make it worth the cost. The only underfolder available is the Yugo AK. They are great rifles and won't cost a fortune. If you want to do some fabrication and customization with out building from a parts kit, get a Saiga and convert it. That will take all the hard expensive stuff out and still let you customize it the way you want it and you can do it all with a Dremel and a drill. As for folding stock the Ace skeleton folder with the internal block can't be beat. Like this
  23. I know someone who has plans in the coming future (a few years) to have an awesome range complete with 100 yrd rifle all indoors here in Nashville!
