  1. You're fine. BTW if you will notice every entrance to the mall property has a posting at the stop signs banning firearms. Interesting attempt on their part to post but doesn't cut the mustard legally.
  2. Nice choice. I carry my SR9 everyday and love it. I would suggest removing the mag disconnect and your good trigger will be even better. Here is a useful link RugerForum.com :: View topic - SR9 How-To (Multiple Inside) Updated 4/5/09 W/ Videos!
  3. This is funny since it is exactly the opposite. 9mm is a far better penetrator than .40 or .45, especially on thick clothing or soft armor. The caveat to that is the 147g 9mm. It does tend to travel at a velocity that is too slow to penetrate thick clothing (ala Miami shooting). Most new studies show 124g +p is the ideal round for 9mm as it carriers the right balance of velocity and speed for the bullet to work properly. It has the weight and velocity to penetrate barriers (clothing, glass, ect) in a manner similar to .357 SIG without the over penetration.

    SR9 Range Report!

Maybe, but Ii leaave the safety off when I'm carrying. No different than a Glock/XD etc. It is nice to be able to use it at home when the kids are around.
  5. They were only East Coast till they forced open the frontier so they could move.
  6. Now that's some really constructive discourse there. So, if he agrees there is no discourse. If he disagrees he is self righteous and irrationally angry. Interesting. I can't wait till I get as enlightened as the liberals to know that no one can know except the liberals who know that no one else knows what they know and when they do they will then be the blessed intelligentsia. (read thick sarcasm.)
  7. Yeah it's doable. Our gunsmith at D&T can do it anyway you want it. You might also want to check with CZ Custom Shop. Angus Hobdell is the CZ man!
  8. Really wasn't meant directly at you Mike. I just think Stewart is starting to take himself way too serious, much in the same way Beck has (and Beck is heads and shoulders above Stewart). Not that they don't make some good points, but Stewart is far from deep or profound. He's kinda like a political Jerry Seinfeld.
  9. Stewart is the next generation of a frat boy who had to grow up and get a job and got lucky. Sanity and Stewart are we serious? Yeah there are some issues out there you have to weed through, but dismissing them all because you're too lazy to think it through isn't sanity. That's not directly meant towards you Mike. I enjoy Stewart for what he is, but people are delusional if they really thinks he's leading serious thought or debate.
  10. Most Nazi's didn't hate Jews, yet the Nazi's killed around 6 million of them. Point is, you are defined by the company you keep. The Tea Party accusations keep changing because they aren't earned or true. Liberals, Socialist, Muslims, terrorist, and politicians have worked hard to earn their identities. The fact Stewart can't tell the difference between liberals and the Tea party movement shows his lack of serious intellect. Add to it the fact he his attacking the machine that makes him anything other than a late night comic is humorous to me.
  11. Dave, you really have to work on your sense of humor.
  12. Trouble maker! Why you have to go there? Am I going to have to break out all my charts and studies again!
  13. Haha! You're actually a nice guy in person ... even if you are going to hell! Nah, ended up having to work tonight and then early tomorrow and couldn't get the kids baby sited either. I was really looking forward to it. Some of you who go, come by the shop and let me know what I missed. That way I can live the excitement through you!

    My new EDC

If I had been there he would have left with the Kandros AND Armscor!
  16. Well ..... i won't be able to make it after all.
  17. Cool. Yeah, I meant FBI.
  18. Just out of curiosity, where's the store going to be? I'm told the TBI isn't granting licensees to anyone without a storefront anymore. $20-25 +10 TICS is the reasonable limit. Guys who charge more don't want to do them.
  19. Golden Sabre is generally what Metro Nashville and Memphis PD carry (albeit in .40). Decent stuff.
  20. That was pretty funny ... and creepy with the laugh at the end!
  21. No the castle nut holds the buffer tube on.
  22. Anyone have an extra AR castle nut laying around? Let me know what you have.

  24. That is indeed a sweet M17s! Nice.
