At D&T we have one for $400. 1960 date. looks really good and clean. Everything matches except the mags. I'm not up on my p38 pricing and history, so are there any special markings or stamps that are more important than others?

Does it look like this? Might try here http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Products.aspx?catid=851

I've debated on every rifle using those VTac modular hand guards. I really like them! Nice rifle.

It's a re-run and we've discussed it before, but the gangs mentioned I am very familiar with. Most of those guys are wannabe's. Not to say they aren't a threat but it is in no way like Detroit, NY, or LA type gang stuff. Gangland gave them much more credit than they deserve.

OK you're now up to 5 Americans, although they aren't on American soil. However, I would still advise you that they fit the profile.
-
No, you are answering a test that has been proven false. There is no fool proof way to do this, but you can't throw a 95% effective method out the window to use a 100% ineffective, inefficient method that has no statistical evidence to back it up. What we know: profiling would have prevented every attack, even if no other security measures were taken. Profiling is also a much more fluid and cost effective method because it can change instantly to respond to current intel. Machines and search methods have to go through a very slow process to adapt to new intel. The current system has allowed several failed attempts to pass with chance being the only prevention.

Maybe Daniel's just smarter than me, but how exactly is citing the 4 individuals in US history that carried out terrorist attacks over vast periods of time a good statistically proof. This compared to the 226 attacks killing over 1028 people in 2010 alone by Muslims! Guess what? They were all carried out by Muslim terrorist, mainly men between the ages of 18-40. In all the world in 2010, ONE was carried out by some one other than a Muslim man that resulted in one death. Or how bout this, since 9/11 Muslims (mainly men between the ages of 18-40) have carried out more than 16406 terrorist attacks resulting in at least one death. Pattern anyone? EVERY recent attack on the US could have been stopped by properly using simple profiling of above. Why is that such a bad thing? Somebody is going to feel uncomfortable. Why is it that the people least likely to commit the crime are the ones put through the most inconvenience? How is that logical? Scorecard: 2010 - Muslim men between the ages of 18-40 - 16406 seperate deadly attacks 2010 White American men ages 18-60 - 0 All time in America - 3 (Rudolph, McVeigh, Kazinsky) Go ahead and stand by your figures Daniel.

I agree but from a different standpoint. If you think marriage or a contract make a marriage commitment valid then your idea of marriage is way off. Love is an emothion that can ebb and flow .... or dissapear. Commitment does not/should not change with the emotional context of marriage. Commitment is not validated or ensured with legalities, but rather it is the other way around. When I got married it was my word that bonded me to my wife. Not her actions or relationship to me. Not the paper we signed. I said better or worse and that I would never leave her, my word means something and more people should think about that when they say it. If you can't stay through the worse, you won't stay through the best either. Just facts of life. A cermony guarantees nothing, but should mean much more than it does and there was a time when it did. I would rather people stick to their word than have elborate ceromonies that mean little more than a overblown party.

Yeah it does. Just like citizenship means a lot more than being an alien or actually being enlisted in the military carries a lot more weight than just wearing camo and calling yourself SF .

D&T has the Crossbreed holster for the PK380 in stock. We sell a lot of them and everyone seems to really like them. It is an up-sized P22 and not a smaller P99. Two different animals, although the ergos are some of the best around.
-
Well, discussing marriage outside of religious context doesn't exsist. That's my point, outside of a religious context what's the diffference?
-
It is indeed when there is no siritual context. Marriage has always been viewed as a union between a man and a woman held together for and by a higher power. This is true no matter what religious context you view it from. Recent efforts to rewrite mankinds history so that abnormal conditions can be normalized is where much of this is coming from.

Do you decorate the exterior of your home for Christmas?

From the one we had in the store and the distributor stories the revolver version is due for a recall. I much prefer the LCP or P3AT with a Crimson Trace over the BG. I don't understand having to reach up to activate the BG laser when speed is greatly enhanced with the Crimson Trace. Add to it that the CT is removeable and replaceable where the BG is integral and I doubt there will be much after purchase support and the LCP/P3AT is a much better value. FYI the BG has a lifetime warranty but the laser is only one year.

Don't you just slide the springs over the rods?

You just renewed my desire for a PSL, TIGR, or Draganov!

There is also the errant assumption global warming would be negative thing. Longer growing seasons would benefit nearly every part of the world. Just sayin.

Come by D&T Arms(Goodlettsville) one evening and talk to Rightwinger. He fits your criteria and is a pretty good teacher. I enjoy hearing him share the finer points of hunting and guns. -

REALLY REALLY disappointed I didn't get to make this one either! Got called into work today at the last minute (2nd job). -
It was tongue in cheek, of course he wouldn't have endorsed Obama. This isn't much of a story or surprise as it is fairly common and expected for the sitting president to endorse the party's candidate. It's a big chess game for the parties and alo tof people get endorsed that they don't particularly like. This last election seems to be a breaking point for some of that. We saw that the Rep didn't back Miller, Angle, O'Donnell and the Colorado guy (among others) to put money towards California and some other lost casues. Maybe the worm is starting to turn.

FYI - Just remember the parking lots and roadways around Rivergate are patrolled by Goodlettsville PD.

Mike is right about SVD/Dragunov. They will cost you dearly and are very rare. The PSL is similar in appearance but significantly different than the SVD internally yet many people (including gun stores and online retailers:rolleyes:) call them Dragunovs. There is even a PSL version in 8mm and occasionally you will find one in .308. Very cool rifles.

FYI - D&T Arms in Goodlettsville keeps the SR9/SR9c Crossbreed (leather) in stock. For those who don't want to wait.

I've been using this holster and it has worked well. MASTER'S Leather BELT SCABBARD Holster - Open Top. Rides high and tight. If you are looking for an IWB, you can't beat a Crossbreed.
