  1. Keep in mind the Glocks are RTF's. Glock can't give those away, thus the "good deal". Their LC9 is priced well but the others are pretty much normal prices.
  2. Well, my post seem to have disappeared. Flyanything, D&T does this service and you will save a minimum of $100 just in shipping, not to mention wait time, and shipping liability. We do cerakote or duracoat in the flavor of your choice including different camo patterns.
  3. Good shooting. I found the SR9's very easy to be accurate with. Nice choice!
  4. Refer to my above post and the link to the other thread.
  5. When I had 6.8's I read a lot of thread over on 6.8forum.com where guys were taking hogs with them. Just be sure to pick the right bullet.
  6. You have to remember that the whole question thing was a thinly veiled attempt by anti's to get rid of guns by making them a "health issue" and as such could be regulated through "health" mandates which have virtually no oversite. For the anti's this was a way around the 2nd amendment and would take congress and the courts out of 2a discussion. The noise from it has pretty much died out, but I can imagine the anti's trying it again. This was part of the issue that was raised (among others) with going to universal health care.
  7. I liked the BMX/Bike scene a little more than skating, but I did both. RAD was THE movie back then and all I could think of was doing a backflip!
  8. Very cool. If it's good and can be what the ACR was supposed to be, I see a big win for Taurus.
  9. I like the form that someone posted in another thread on this topic asking the Doctors to sign off that they have had training, are qualified to dispense gun safety information, and accept liability for any such information.
  10. Here's a better one. Handgunlaw.us
  11. R1100R, you are correct in that the SR9C tends to have a better trigger. I don't know why since they are virtually identical internally. I've played with a bunch of them through the store and this seems to be consistent. The fullsize isn't bad, it's just the compact is better out of the box.
  12. This is good advice. I've had the SR9 and really liked it. It would be an excellent first gun.
  13. Mike those are sharp! Nice builds!
  14. Recent history, facts, and the news from the last four years.
  15. No he didn't. The one they posted on their website was a fake done by some commoner on his blog site. Then they did nothing until now ..... nearly 4 years later. BTW it was Hillary that pushed this ball. The Republicans didn't have the stomach for it and have publicly again and again said it was unnecessary.
  16. Technically speaking their are only four (sometimes 5) race classifications. Arabs and a lot of Africans actually fall into the Caucasian race, but this is not the point. The validity of Obama's nationality has nothing to do with race, except for the fact Obama and his supporters keep making that claim. Nationality IS a strictly defined qualification for the office of presidency as laid out by the letter of the law in the Constitution. That in my opinion should have been a small issue cleared up early on, yet it wasn't and should have lead to a Constitutional crisis, but alas the Constitution doesn't seem to hold weight anymore. I find it amusing those that claim to want to be strict Constitutionlist are some of the same ones who (at least on this forum) claim any question of Obama's nationality is race based, conspiricy theory, propaganda, from the uninformed.
  17. This is why you will always be a northerner. You seem to see the South through your own racist bigotry.
  18. I have a Wilderness tactical and it is indeed comfortable, but also looks like a "tactical" belt. The Black hawk dress belts I've been using are excellent, fairly priced, and look like a normal belt. I can wear them for any occasion without worrying about looking like I want to be wearing a photog vest as well.
  19. I had some on an XD before they had all the issues. They flat out work and work well. However, last I checked the company was dead in the water and a few other companies were waiting for the patents to expire so they could pick them up.

QC check. Each inspector has their own color.
  21. Hey Mike! You know D&T has it and we have more coming!

Here is the right side. No billboard! Here are some pics of the relieved beaver tail. Looks nice IMO.
  23. "The Art of War" by Tsun Tsu and "Shooting to Live" Sykes/Fairbairn are excellent. Everything else is based off these.

    New toy....SR1911

Very nice gun indeed. I'm getting more and more tempted to get a 1911.
  25. This was meant to be tongue in cheek, but some folks get all worked up. If it doesn't apply ..... don't get upset. If it does ..... you've already replied
