  1. The two I really regret selling is my first MSAR and that Hi-Power. Redeeming one at a time ...
  2. Decide to trade the AR for an MSAR E4. Man, I love these things! SOOOOO much better than an AR.
  3. How's this? Love this gun!

    Kel Tec KSG

I'd say to expect realistically more than a year before you see one. Currently there are two in existence IIRC and they are both prototypes Kel-tec is great at good designs and HORRIBLE at getting stuff released.
  5. PK380's are a very popular choice for the ladies (men too ) as well as the Bersa Thunder 380. Both are smallish enough for carry, shoot a decent round, is NOT overpowering, and the slides (especially the PK380) are easy to work. Good choice.
  6. D&T has a 75 compact and a few others ATM.
  7. That and the ergos's of the CZ are much better and the trigger is much more workable. Meaning you can work over a CZ trigger a whole lot better than a SIG.
  8. D&T has some and can get them. I have and carry the 2075 Rami P. LOVE it! I had a P07 and really liked everything except at the time I couldn't find a holster for it.
  9. The DD are awesome. Really thin and lightweight and worth every penny. However, for the money and I really like Yankee Hill Machines dimonand series. A lot of rail for the money. Here's mine on a Spikes Tactical mid length.
  10. I sell guns. Seriously though, we get a lot of women and first time shooters through the store that are scared or have never handled a gun before. It is enjoyable to see them go from scared of an inanimate object to excited as they check out with their new gun. Then days later when they come back for more ammo and targets, to hear how they are having some much fun and are now looking for their next weapon. This is pretty much how it should work on the personal level. Get them started with something they are comfortable with, don't be a know it all, let them take their time, and they will tell more people than you can imagine and it will grow from there. Guys bring you wife and let her pick out her OWN gun. For some reason, my wife included, will listen to some random person before she will ever hear a word from me!
  11. Dave, I don't always agree with you but I'm 100% on this one with you.
  12. Here's mine ATM: Spike Tactical AR, DD LPK, YHM diamond spectre length HG, YHM low pro GB, CAA CBS stock, Nikon scope, MagPul grip and BUIS, GripPod LE and my favorite: Converted Saiga, TWS Gen2 rail, Vortex SPARC, ACE stock and reciever block, YHM 5c2 FH and here together.
  13. Just saying the issues they have had seem to be traced back to the new captive recoil spring. I'm sure it's not wide spreed, but those seem to be problematic when there is an issue. That definitely sounds like a Glock guy talking!
  14. This. The only thing the Gen 4 needs to do away with is that stupid captive recoil spring. For some reason Glock couldn't get that right. It's not like they had horrible recoil to begin with.
  15. I had a POF upper and that thing was awesome. All their hype is true IMO. They are over the top for what anyone really needs (feature wise and price wise), but if you get one there will be nothing left to upgrade. It has every bell and whistle known to man. Great guns. BTW - I had gotten the upper on trade and couldn't justify having so much money tied in one gun. I sold it and bought a whole new AR, handgun, and a bunch of accessories.
  16. That's because the 416, SCAR, and ACR are copies of the CZ. The Taurus appears to be a closer copy of the CZ and I bet it will be priced much more reasonably than the others boated prices.
  17. Live in Mississippi. Taxes will kill you in or near Memphis.
  18. Yup, next day air through UPS is around $45-$50 one way before insurance and packing. So yes, pretty darn close to $100 for both ways. I've shipped a lot of guns as a private individual and it is not cheap or convenient .... to do it legally.

    M&P 9 vs. H&K P30?

I've owned several M&P9's and loved them. I've handled the P30's and to me, even if the price were even, I'd go with the M&P. I've not been overwhelmed by H&K - any of them. IMO the M&P has better ergo's, lower bore axis, more holster sights and parts at decent prices, customer service, stainless slide, thinner, and price.
  20. Keep in mind the Glocks are RTF's. Glock can't give those away, thus the "good deal". Their LC9 is priced well but the others are pretty much normal prices.
  21. Well, my post seem to have disappeared. Flyanything, D&T does this service and you will save a minimum of $100 just in shipping, not to mention wait time, and shipping liability. We do cerakote or duracoat in the flavor of your choice including different camo patterns.
  22. Good shooting. I found the SR9's very easy to be accurate with. Nice choice!
  23. Refer to my above post and the link to the other thread.
  24. When I had 6.8's I read a lot of thread over on 6.8forum.com where guys were taking hogs with them. Just be sure to pick the right bullet.
  25. You have to remember that the whole question thing was a thinly veiled attempt by anti's to get rid of guns by making them a "health issue" and as such could be regulated through "health" mandates which have virtually no oversite. For the anti's this was a way around the 2nd amendment and would take congress and the courts out of 2a discussion. The noise from it has pretty much died out, but I can imagine the anti's trying it again. This was part of the issue that was raised (among others) with going to universal health care.
