  1. To sweet, hey that scope looks familiar!
  2. I would like to see if this is another stock option for me to shoot. Please let me know if you have one and if i can shoot it. I currently shoot with the Mcmillan A-5 on my 700 so I am familiar with a good stock.
  3. Ah, Nothing compared to that 1 day. My ballistics program said 1 mph wind but that could not be true. With the 44 grains I did not dial in any adjustment.
  4. This load was 44 grains of Varget shooting 168 SMK's out of LC Brass. The OAL is 2.80 " and the brass is 2.15" or less..LOL I am not loading to the point of being to anal. I just do not have the time. So some brass may weigh more that others or have a little less length then others. I imagine if I was doing everything identical it would be a little tighter. I'm pretty happy with the results at 200. When i can do this at 300 then 400 then 500, and so on and so forth i will be happy. Maybe a new barrel away and it will happen...LOL
  5. Well went out today to try a new load at 200. After i got it all zeroed I proceeded to shoot an 11 shot group of 1.80" (end to end). I was pretty happy with the group as i was able to maintain less than 1 moa. Not to bad for a stock barrel.
  6. I am like you... shot at 300 but want to go out to 600 really really bad... Or do i..LOL
  7. LOL... me too....
  8. Went today to shoot two hundred again. My best three shot group was .60" and my best 5 shot group was 1.25". I shot several rounds today... Like I said these were my best two groups.
  9. I was at ...ah forgot the name... but it is in Manchester.
  10. .308
  11. Here are some shots using me new Leupold MK4 @ 200 yards... You can see I had a few trigger issues and some minor breathing issues all I am continuing to work on. This was a around 25 shots and the target is an 8" circle.

    Almost Done.....

I have the sendora or 40x trigger on mine and would have to agree I like it better. The stock is a Mcmillan A-5 which is inlet for a BDL setup. You can have these stocks inletted for whatever you want. I like the verticle grip on this stock and the forearm is very nice too.

Thanks .. Went and shot it over the weekend at 200 I shot sub moa which I liked to see
  14. Yeah I hate the fact they usually have what I am looking for...!!! The owners know their guns and Daniel is good people. Always willing to help. I will just go in to look around at lunch sometimes.. I do admit some of the prices are higher then some of the other stores.

Oh it is a shooter... I have yet to shoot the new scope but last weekend with the 10x it shot a .81" three shot group in the 1" X at 300 yards... It will shoot 1 hole groups at 100 and does pretty good at 200 as well. I look forward to getting the new scope zero'd this weekend... thanks!
  16. Before: So far I have taken a bone stock Remington SPS Tactical 20" .308 and added the following: Mcmillan A-5 stock Badger Ordnance 20 MOA rail Badger Ordnance USMC 30mm rings Leupold MK4 6.5-20x scope Atlas Bipod (being built so not pictured above) Pre 1986 trigger set to 2.5lb( also not in the picture, in the mail) Tac ops stock pack. My wife really puts up with alot! Now:
  17. No problem at all Chris... I may go.... Never been out that far though.... email me more about it please.
  18. Took her out to 300 yards taday and shot some steel... lots of fun when you get to hear that delayed report. Once I got zeroed.. I was hitting 100%... Had to get the gun rezeroed to 100 yards as I just had the gun all apart.
  19. Yep, looks like it will be tuned to 2.5lbs for me... yehaw... no more unpredictable trigger pull... I am also going to get my old one tuned or just sell it , not sure yet. I flattened the trigger itself out. It feels like the old flat one without the groves.
  20. I was cut off but snuck in 1 more purchase....I just ordered a new " OLD " style trigger set to 3.0 LBS. I am asking that it be set to 2.5 LBS before he sends it to me... I will let you know what I think of it... here is the link.... www.accu-tig.com
  21. I did get to shoot. I was trying to just get her sighted in. The best 5 shot group was .31"... so far I was happy. I will be going to try some new loads on Friday am.
  22. A picture with the new rail and rings.. it is coming along!
  23. I may be in on this.
  24. Well just dumped some more cash... damn addictive hobbies!!!! Ordered some Badger Ordnance 30mm USMC rings (with the 1" inserts) and a 20 MOA rail. I did this in preperation for the scope purchase. I am officially cutoff for a while from buying " upgrades " Gotta Love the wife though cause she really puts up with alot. LOL ........
  25. Shot 200 yards yesterday, and the gun was a very solid shooter, no real fliers when I do my part..LOL My best group shot with 168 Sierra MK.. 42 g IMR 4064 and an OAL OF 2.806 measured 1.1" I am so looking forward to shooting further distances. All but the cold barrel shot, I blame the loads, were 1 moa or under shooting.
