I didn't see that anyone answered your question, but no that's not a real suppressor, just a "barrel shroud". As to wether it's a trunk gun or not...I've had mine with me several times, you could do worse. The only think I dislike about mine as far as a trunk gun goes is the 10 round capacity. He made quite sure he stayed in the media for a good while with no outside help. Sorry, but if that all happened to me I would do my absolute best to make sure I stayed out of headlines. Selling the pistol that killed a famous gangster, say Bonnie and Clyde, sure that's historic. Selling a pistol used in a self defense shooting is just bad taste to say the least.
