I definitely wanted to press 1 to repeat. Not that I was questioning my purchase of my NFA lower, but I'm especially glad I bought it now. I can think of a few "customers" I'd love to say the same to

VIDEO: Weapons Manipulation with ONE ARM for Saiga-12
KKing replied to Fitty%'s topic in General Chat
Awesome man. Definitely jealous of the Saiga -
Mind shooting me a PM with what they charge for something like that? I've got a couple builds going right now and I can see color going on one. Oh and I feel your pain running the flaming pig and a Troy handguard over it. Pain in the tail to get on without scratching the pig all up

Welcome

Pretty dang cool, I'm jealous

I think I could get used to looking at that

Murfreesboro Police gun buyback this Saturday
KKing replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I haven't, but I have a couple hundred bucks burning a hole in my wallet -
Kel-tec SU-16 with folding stock. AR magazines, takes up a small amount of storage space. I have thought about switching to my 9mm Hipoint carbine though simply because it doesn't matter of it gets beat up

Hehe I know I know! Gotta get you down here so I...err..I mean YOU can shoot it some

Even after praying to The Lord, David picked up the sling and killed the giant Goliath. If the time comes that I have to choose between the life of myself or my family and a person wishing to do harm to us, I can promise you I know my decision. I'll have to see if I can find some scripture after church. ETA: Here's only one I could find while driving Ezekiel 33 "... 6 'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.' I believe murder is killing unjustly. We are to preserve life.

Glad you typed that last paragraph, because that is the biggest point of all. You have a designated purpose for your AK pistol, so you need that knock down at ever how many yards. I don't think anyone that builds a short barreled AR would say that. The point is each is good in it's own right. One could argue that the AR is better because of the ease to switch between calibers, but that's another conversation entirely. The only way to say one is "better" than the other is by individual want/need

Glad to see I'm not fighting alone

Because it has something to do with those evil black guns! Maybe for the shoulder things that go up? But really, that's insane

Adhesive bandage - specifically uncut rolls
KKing replied to morrisster's topic in Survival and Preparedness
Sounds like coban to me. This stuff is awesome to keep pressure on something. http://www.3m.com/product/information/Coban-self-adherent-wrap.html ETA: don't think that'll do exactly what you want. It only sticks to itself. I'll think on it but I don't believe I've seen anything like that as far as having the ability to adhere to skin ETA(again): Being in the medical field I thought this would be easy, boy was I wrong. Maybe check this out. http://www.medline.com/product/CURAD-Elastic-Adhesive-Bandage/Medical-Tapes/Z05-PF00293 -
I can agree with part of this, there is no way they're logging your deliveries...at least WHAT is being delivered. They do have to have the tracking system that shows they actually delivered a package. My UPS guy just happens to be a car/gun guy just like me, and he started looking at labels of where my packages come from since he saw me so often. I didn't mind, he's a cool guy and it was done in the interest of striking up conversation and as far as I'm concerned he's very good at his job. We talk cars/trucks/guns/weather/women when he comes by (at least once a week, usually 2-3 times). It'd be very easy for him to tell someone that put pressure on him that I order a lot of ammo, just from the ORM-D labels on the boxes he delivers. That being said, I highly doubt any agency would use this method of intelligence gathering, there are much easier ways for them as mentioned above
-
Trust me, I'm golden. I just figured if we were going to really help the guy out we might actually give him factual info, not second hand. I believe there's a lot of us that work around these things every day, either building at home or in a shop, so....;)

Not sensitive at all, just no need in speculating, and that's all you're doing. What "tuning" are you talking about?! The kind where you assemble the gun and shoot it? That's all I've ever done, so I don't understand what you're saying. If you're just quoting what I said above, I should have used the term "set up" your gas system, so I can see how that's confusing. Please, share. That's kinda like me saying Masseratis are silly because they require too much maintenance and are finicky.....I've never owned or driven one, but I've read it. You prefer the AK, that's great, I'd like to own one of those too. But I haven't, so I won't tell the OP anything I've read or heard about them just to be "that guy" that puts something down without knowledge on it
-
Who has reliability issues? Have you owned one? I own them, have built them, and as long as you have an inkling of how to tune your gas system vs. buffer, there's no problem. My latest build is a 7.5" barrel. Has no fireball because it has the Noveske KX3 on it. It is loud, but again with the KX3 all the noise is mainly down range. To the "can't do what it's supposed to do" people. What's yours "supposed" to do? We've shot mine at 100 yards and have no problem hitting a 12" steel plate. No, the ballistics won't be what a 16" barrel with a carbine gas system would be, that's common sense. But mine was built to have fun with, and it does exactly that. Would I take it to a battle? Well that's a silly question, that's not what it's for. Is it fun, reliable, and accurate at 100 yards and a little further? It sure has been. So, no...it may not punch through cinder blocks at 200 yards. If you want that, a pistol build isn't for you. But to make claims that they aren't reliable based on what you've heard or read on the interwebz isn't right. ETA:

This is where the Glock armorer I know was when they were supposedly testing the new rifle. Didn't get a look at it though, who knows
-
Where at? I've gotten some wolf brand from aimsurplus around that price but i just happened to be online when it went up. I'm not above sitting at the computer for a little while on a slow work night if it means I get to go shoot lol
-
I agree completely, doubt it'll ever be the same. But right now my "deal" price is around 50 cents per. It's out there, just few and far between
-
Still way too rich for my blood. I've found it at 50 and 55 cents per here in the last couple weeks, and it killed me to pay that. I can't wait for prices to get back down as close to normal as possible
-
I highly doubt that. The Glock armorer I talked to about the rifle they're working on said even it will be polymer.
-
Might be my time to invest in another Glock. No matter who ends up taking them over, there's usually an adjustment period in quality control. I don't know about them ever making a pistol caliber carbine, but I understand they're working on something chambered in 5.56, I'd guess AR platform
