  1. Went a couple years back, it was a good time for sure. I'd love to do it again, but I've got nothing to ride/drive that it'd be any fun in. I took my car last time. And yes, it had air ride, it wasn't static. Although it wasn't much higher than pictured when we were carving corners
  2. Lol I figure as high as 9mm prices still are, if reloaders are able to find components, they're saving a good bit. All of mine would be once fired. Fiocchi, Aguilla, Federal, Winchester, and S&B best I can remember. No brands that ought to be thrown out altogether?
  3. This isn't a for sale thread, I'm just looking for advice for possibly a future sale. I don't want anyone thinking I'm trying to skirt the policies here at all. For those of you that reload, when you buy 9mm brass, do you look for a specific brand? For that matter, does it matter to you if it's all one brand? One brand better than the other? See, between my 9mm carbine and my glock 19 I shoot a pile of the stuff pretty frequently (more so than I should), so I thought in the future I might sell some of my brass to help recoup some of my costs and possibly help out a fellow TNGO'er as well. I realize there's not a lot of money to be made by doing this, but anything I made is better than it going to waste. I know very little about reloading so I figured I'd ask some of my TN brethren. Be gentle
  4. You'll be back. I know that's twice you've said the same in this thread alone. Your "proof" gets disproven, then you either resort to name calling or asking if someone has been a LEO or EMT to make your "opinion" some how seem superior to theirs.
  5. Anyone said barrel nut yet? Do you have your tools already to put it together?
  6. While I don't shoot matches, I'd be happy to have a patch. I wear one of my hats with pvc dang near everywhere
  7. So, how bout them Braves?
  8. Have you ever worked in law enforcement? Dave What the heck difference does that make in any way? How many times do you need to quote me to compose a post Dave? That's a great little paragraph you wrote above, that had zero to do with what I actually posted, which was you basically calling us racists in case you need a reminder. But please, carry on explaining that you're a good guy and such (no one ever said you weren't that I recall seeing). I find it humorous you take offense to being called dude, yet you proceed to call us racist, bro, and home dawg. Dave, shame on you. What's good for the goose...
  9. Yes I do. I have always stood up for what I beleive in, do now and always will. Balls? You betcha buddy!!! Dave Funny that's the only point of the post you can address. Figures though
  10. Don't attack me bro...you won't like it..."Dudes" are Cowboys. I'm not a Cowboy, so I would appreciate you not calling me "Dude". If you want to call me anything besides my name...try "Sir". Dave S Attack you? I won't like it? Wait...are you calling Al Sharpton now to tell him I'm being racist against Trayvon by questioning your support of their crap? Oh no!!! How about take your own advice and don't call me "bro"? I damn sure am not You "sir" must have a real set of balls. You have the nerve to call us racist simply because we have our heads out of our asses and can actually see the circus that is this whole deal? I guess I'm not a real patriot because I can't stand our president? Or no, better yet...maybe I'm racist because of it. Logic much? This will blow your mind A person can disagree with what's going on and not be a racist, I'm sorry you can't separate the two
  11. It has nothing to do with race. Dave You should really try pulling your blinders off sometime dude
  12. I'm only in for the money...and personal reasons. Dave Kinda like "If you had a son he'd be Trayvon?" Seeing you were bold enough to share the fact that you donated to help fuel the race baiting circus, please...continue to share

Lol you really didn't read the thread, did you?

    Toy gun buy-back

I played many as well. I think the problem is when you mix in high power prescription drugs and compleatly isolating yourself for hours, even days at a time, reality becomes blurred. Some of these kids are not just playing a few hours a week, they literally almost never stop. As for the water guns that's just dumb! This plays to the point I'd make. While you may have played video games, I highly doubt it's how kids are today. Today, parenting is growing to be a thing of the past, now children are sat in front of the tv/video game system and being raised by it. You may have played video games, but I'd bet you also had someone who tried to tell you right from wrong, and I'd bet you didn't play them for hours and days on end. Then when the child grows older and is used to being isolated by their self, they don't know how to socially interact and thus increases the chance the parents think they need some sort of medication that is possibly mood altering. Just my thoughts. As for California, well if stupid thoughts were weight, they would have sank into the ocean long ago
  15. The point of the thread is simple... you got 45's, and you got girlie guns :) "Nine millimeter only kills your body. Forty five...it kills your soul." lol I personally love seeing a good caliber war thread on one of the forums I frequent. They almost always deliver the lulz
  16. Lol that's pretty awesome. I like this one as well. If I can get the video to work right http://youtu.be/po4nZTO3ES4
  17. I pretty much feel this way too, especially someone trained to read people. To your point about the test throwing doubt into the equation, I say based on the letter of the law, a doubt is all that should be needed to equal a not guilty
  18. Got ya. I don't doubt he's innocent of murder, but wether or not he'll get railroaded in court I don't know
  19. If there is already a thread like this then mods feel free to delete, but I searched and didn't see one. I guess I'll start this party but sharing a short conversation I had today with an elderly lady. I should preface this by saying I don't open carry, but I just got in a new OWB holster for the range and it's probably my favorite I've ever had. I was only going out to run a few errands so I just wore the new holster and G19. I'm not much of a story teller so bare with me. It went as follows... Elderly lady: "Are you a policeman?" This confused me at first, especially since I always carry concealed, then I realized she was looking at my hip. She was smiling that sweet little old lady smile as if she expected a yes, so I knew my answer might be disappointing to her. Me: "No ma'am, just an American citizen. A regular fella." Her face changed VERY quickly to almost one of confusion. Lady: "So why on earth are you carrying a gun!?" At this point I was contemplating replying with how I believe it's the best way to protect both my family and myself, but I could see her having some sort of argument in reply. I didn't feel like having that conversation in the middle of the store and I decided I didn't really owe her an explanation anyway. Me: "Because it is my right as an American citizen, and I'm permitted by the state of TN to do so" I was respectful of course the entire time, although you wouldn't know it by the way she acted. I don't think I've ever seen such a look on an elderly persons face like the one she gave me, the only term I can think of to describe it would be bewilderment. Like she couldn't imagine why any person other than a LEO would carry a gun. She huffed, sort of shrugged her shoulders and almost ran away from me. Bless her heart. Anyway, that's really the only confrontation I've ever had. Nothing crazy, but it got me thinking. I figure if we got a collection of our stories here it may help some people know how to reply if confronted, or even provide a little humor. What say you?
  20. Alright, someone refresh my memory about polygraphs, I knew one time but that was several years ago when I took criminology. Isn't it something like they're admissible in court, but they can't be used solely to convict or find not guilty?
  21. A Latte Sippin, Cruiser Bike Ridin, Organic Meat eatin, Record Store Shoppin gun owner. So in summary, Yuppy.
  22. 1,000 interweb points to you sir for using the word yuppy.
  23. He says plainly in the video that he shoots off hand with it all the time. While I'm not sure he could repeat it and be 2 for 2, I bet you money he could do it again. Luck would be you or I doing it. ENDO gun blog posted that on Facebook last night, made for a bright spot in my night at work
  24. Ok ok I decided my first post was way too vague and I need to actually name a song. I think number one on my list would be *Honky Tonk Badonkadonk by Trace Adkins*. It makes me want to drown puppies and I really, really like puppies
  25. Very well said. Just hearing that makes me want to wring some necks
