While I realize your Glock comments were made in jest, I truly LOL when a 1911 fanboy (or any other company/model for that model) rambles on about how "I don't do Tupperware". Kills me that some folks can't appreciate both. The 1911 was the best gun at one point, just the same way as smoke signals were the best way of communication at one point. I kid I kid, congrats on the purchase

I'm not even going to comment on the direction this thread is headed, as it has risen my blood pressure already. What I will say is Troy has lost my business. Two of my AR's run their handguards. While I can't say I'm going to rip them off of those guns and start over, I will say I get a sick feeling when I pick them up now. It may just come to me replacing them with a company's that doesn't suck at the tit of government

I have dang near all their music. I'm not a metal fan per se, but there are some days where it just fits my mood. Good stuff

I know this isn't exactly what you're talking about, but here's something to consider if you have the money. If it can use 870 accessories, Mesa Tactical makes an adapter so that you can use a AR15 grip/buffer tube/stock. What I'm seeing people do is run a hydraulic buffer instead of the normal buffer tube (if I'm not mistaken it is actually the tube assembly acting as the buffer). I can't imagine recoil being an issue when hydraulics are involved. Here's a mossberg that they used the parts mentioned on, not mine

I'm running the Primary Arms red dot and mount on my pistol. It's not an Aimpoint, but it works well. Hope you enjoy your new toy man, I enjoy mine but I've been thinking about selling the upper and building a 14.5" upper with pinned brake for it.

I did not know this, wish I had though. Dirty bastards, indeed

Well their website doesn't show live inventory, so what said "in stock" when I ordered, really wasn't. No big deal, cancelled my order several days later after never receiving a tracking number or any notification that it wasn't actually in stock. So I figured I'd give them another shot. This time before I order I call to make sure what I'm about to buy is actually in stock, ready to ship. When I got a person on the phone they told me yes, that in fact the item was in stock. So I place my order. Yet again I never received a tracking number or anything, well over a week passed, I'd say closer to 10 days. So yet again I give them a call only to get someone on the phone that told me that the product hadn't been in stock even when I placed my order and they didn't know why the other person told me it was. Just seemed like an operation where the right hand had no idea what the left was doing. To some it wouldn't be a big deal at all, but I like to spend my money with businesses that have it together

I've had bad experiences with botach, I hope yours is better. That really is a great price on that mount

Question I need answered is why do I just keep buying more?!
-
I LOL'd

I'll echo what most have said. When on the boat it's in a dry box on board. I almost never...ever...go anywhere without one of my weapons in reach.

Glad to hear it man. Now if you get tired of her I'll take her off your hands! Lol

Same here, I was thinking parts kit or complete junk. Either way, I was in!

So let me give you a rundown of what just happened... I'm cruising tngo on my phone. I read the title and jump up off the couch like a bat out of hades for my wallet, while my fiancé is yelling "what's wrong!?". No time to answer, I'm on a mission here woman. I climb the stairs (3 at a time mind you), all while pressing the thread title on the phone so it will open and be ready when I get to my credit card. My mind is racing, "Are they junk and need refinishing, who so cheap?!" "Who cares, I love a project" I tell myself I finally reach the bedroom, snatch my debit card from my wallet and sit back, prepared to punch in my numbers and FFL info. To my dismay, no new gun for me. So now I'm lying in bed catching my breath, and typing this. Indeed, those were the days!

Ah you beat me to it, I actually read that right after I posted and tried to ninja edit it

Edit: nevermind

Someone (can't remember who, no telling where I heard it) made a version slowed down like the first video, I actually enjoy it more slowed down. Blasphemy, I know

Peer pressure is an ugly thing. Ordered!
-
It sure is. Sadly, I have to slow down on my building. Although...this may be a good place to start my "paint it camo and beat the crap out of it" build. Decisions decisions

Get this and put it to work on that herters or tulammo steel case! http://www.firearmsforsale.com/arsenal-slr106cr-556x45-blk-16ffs/ Man would I love to, arsenal makes an awesome AK. I've patiently been looking for someone that may be looking to trade AK for AR. I've got a AR pistol that I'd give up for a lower end AK

Unless I'm sorely mistaken, we had the number 1 recruiting class BEFORE the uniform change. Poor point man. I'm sorry, but all the schools you listed have changed uniforms at some point during the "tradition". I see what you were trying to do, it just doesn't play.

I've honestly been looking at AK's just because of x39 pricing lately. Seems there's still some surplus too. I've always wanted one, this just gives me an excuse. Shooting is one of my few hobbies/releases, and I don't intend to stop unless I have to. That being said, I refuse to pay crazy prices for ammo. I realize as with anything prices on ammunition will rise, we can't realistically expect it to stay the same. I've slowed down shooting considerably, but I still shoot at least 50 rounds every couple days, much more on weekends. Luckily, I had plenty of 223, 9mm, and 22lr to allow me to shoot even during the crazy times. Now that ammo is on the (slight) decline, I can pick up some here and there and not feel bad about it. Cabelas had Tula 223 for $4.99 a box the other day with no limit and I loaded up. It's far from good ammo, and not a great price but I'm trying not to stress over ammo, then I'll just shoot more. Vicious cycle, ya know Honestly as everyone else has said...until demand slows down or supply is at surplus level, I doubt we see much more decrease on price

Best owb holster I own came from these guys http://www.kt-mech.com/

I like them. At first I was concerned when I heard about them, but I think they look great. With the number 1 recruiting class, the future looks bright. ETA: I love this picture
