I put mine in a empty soda or water bottle with hot water and dish soap, then shake the piss out of it. You'd be surprised how black the water is after

I for one never said FSU sucks, they're undefeated, but the facts are the facts. Both Alabama and Auburn are stronger than them. I'll stick by my statement as well that I'd bet Mizzou could beat them.
Hate to be the first one to tell you but- the SEC ain't gonna be there this year.......
May be true, but like I said..the BCS system has failed. Who really wants to watch two mediocre teams play for a championship knowing full well they aren't even close to the two best teams? I, for one, do not
-
All I can say is congrats to Auburn, they earned it. If there isn't a team from the SEC in the championship the whole BCS system has failed football fans all across America. Ohio State is a nobody that I'd say half the SEC could beat, and FSU doesn't want any of Bama OR Auburn. Hell I doubt they could beat Mizzou

You've obviously never owned a carbine
And ball ammo will pass through the average person. I was shot by a 45 ACP loaded with ball ammo. Had it been modern ammunition I probably would have a lot more problems. When I got shot I had no clue I had been hit for 2-3 minutes until my leg started going numb. It went straight through and felt like a muscle cramp for a few weeks. I will NEVER carry any FMJ in any pistol.
There you have it, straight from the horses mouth (no offense Dolo) As good a logic as any, well said. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes, or point fingers here. To me, with carrying a firearm comes great responsibility. Ignoring the fact that there is an increased risk of over penetration with a FMJ round is careless. The one shot, one kill mentality of some that carry the .45 ACP is almost laughable. In a self defense situation, with adrenaline surging at high levels, it's very unlikely you're only going to fire one round, which brings you to the point that Razz posted above and yet again increased odds of hitting an unintended target. While on paper I agree that FMJ should do the job just fine, in real life, with lives at stake, far greater factors come into play. Just my opinion, and it's worth what you paid for it

Does the thought of that round passing through your intended target and going who knows where not bother you? I understand that's a risk with any round, but you're greatly increasing your chances by using ball ammo

All I can say is if in fact it is a single stack 9mm, you can put my name on the list. Heck I might even consider the .380. I'm not getting my hopes up at all, but I do have a birthday coming up in February

I kinda want to get it as a gag gift for my Dad. But it's a little pricey for a laugh ETA: I love that it's a badge for the OUTSIDE that advertises the concealed weapon on the INSIDE. Anyone else see the irony? Also ETA: If you're going to wear an idiot badge, why not have it represent the actual permit? We don't have "concealed weapon permits" we have "handgun carry permits"....absolutely no mention of concealed

The only thing holding me back would be the fact that you live in the city limits, depending on your closest neighbor and such. I'm a fan of the 2 strike rule in this case. 1) Talk to the owner 2) Use judicious marksmanship. Where I was raised deep in the country, you put a collar on your dogs just for the purpose of the first strike, so that whomever has a problem can talk to you about it first. Dogs without collars, well those guys only got one strike.

I sure do. I've handled the longest one on a friends gun(can't remember if their numbers go up or down on which "mod" it is) and although I liked it, I kinda felt like it stuck way out. I don't run many carbine courses or anything, but I could see that being a problem for someone that does as far as snagging on clothes and such. Just personal preference I guess.
-
I know I ruined myself early. Built my first AR with one and now I hate handling a standard charging handle. Some would say that's petty , but it's the truth.
-
Absolutely worth it. If you have more than 1 AR, don't ever bother just ordering only 1 BCM charging handle

That's them. They mark them "for training only" because they're blems

3 targets, 18 rounds, 2 mag changes in 4.79 seconds.

Meh, if he were using a glock he'd only had to reload once... I kid, I kid. That was awesome -
I too was excited at first about this when I saw it at the first of the year. But I have a Hipoint carbine in 9mm, and if I wanted to spend that kind of money on one I'd get into a Just Right Carbine and use Glock mags and a familiar AR platform.

I must have misunderstood. PM inbound

I don't really know what to say. If the barrel and bcg are any good this is the best deal I've seen in a long long time http://www.slickguns.com/product/ptac-16-19-m4-556-nato-blackhawk-rifle-kit-22lr-conversion-kit-499

Hmm, did not know that, but I've never had any interest in any of the Slidefire stocks or anything of the nature. Good info nonetheless

Welcome aboard man, and thank you for your service

Interesting, for sure. It certainly did look like it made a difference on the .308. The 223 didn't impress me as much, I guess because I never run a bipod or foregrip other than an AFG

Man, good deals there . If I hadn't just gotten a 15-22 this week I'd be picking up one of those SR22's

I like the selector lever

I've got a couple. Johnny would've wanted people to use the piss out of them I believe. I'm using one regularly and keeping one back. Doubt it'll ever be truly worth anything, but it's really cool to me
