1.
And Cracker Barrel is out. http://www.tmz.com/2013/12/21/duck-dynasty-cracker-barrel-phil-robertson-boycott/ We called a bunch of Cracker Barrel stores, and the managers told us the products that were removed were the ones that had Phil's face plastered on the packaging. Almost to a person, the managers added, "We still offer a wide variety of Duck Commander products," and then we heard a click.
Saw this, and I won't be eating there. I was very proud to see Skyjacker's statement, who is also one of their sponsors. I don't have the link, but the gist of it was that they stood behind him completely. Also Under Armor said that while as a company they may not agree with Phil, they stood behind his right to say it. Good to see.
 2. So to the people saying that for Phil this is about money; you're kidding right? This is a man that lived in the woods half his life, still lives in what most would consider a shack, and walks around barefoot on a regular basis. I'm sorry, the man could care less. Just because he has money and lots of it, doesn't mean that money means anything to him, much less that he has a greed for more. It amazes me the absolute bullcrap people will say about someone they know little to nothing about. Did you know Michael Jordan hates parrots? He's a parrot hatin' SOB. Has to be, why else doesn't he have one as a pet? Yes, that's the same line of thinking you're using to say that this is all about money for Phil Robertson. I have a lot of bellybutton lint, hell I may have more than anyone in this thread. It damn sure doesn't mean I love it, or that everything I say is to gather more Come on guys
 3.
As a gay black atheist, I find you all offensive.
Best post in the thread, you win it
 4. As always, late to the party. Never had much interest at the prices they were going for, but for $79 I would have been all over one
 5.
So the family has no say over how their images are used? Seems like they would have some degree of influence over that.
No, actually they don't at the end of the day. Just watch some interviews with Phil and you'll learn that quickly. There's much more references to God, and preaching that never makes the air, because once again that's out of their control. Personally, I wish they'd just go back to making hunting shows and doing guided hunts. I like Duck Dynasty, but I liked their actual hunting stuff better
 6.
justify it anyway you want The dumb ass said what he thought and a bunch of people defend him. Play it anyway you want.
Lol now HE's a dumbass? Please tell me what about this statement is judgmental "We never, ever judge someone on who’s going to heaven, hell. That’s the Almighty’s job. We just love ’em, give ’em the good news about Jesus—whether they’re homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort ’em out later, you see what I’m saying?” -Phil Robertson You see man, it's ok. God, myself, and yes even Phil Robertson still love you
 7.
It's still there, I just re-read the entire piece... http://www.gq.com/entertainment/television/201401/duck-dynasty-phil-robertson?currentPage=3 Ah, my mistake. Must have been the ipad acting up. Kept giving me "page not available" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
8.
see my above post. he thought about it before he said anything. He can say he is not placing judgement, but then he places judgement. He can word it however he sees fit. Thanks for judging my witts.
You're a special kind of silly aren't you? Yes, that's judgement. Really more like an inference from your context, but I'll give you what you want
 9. I do find one thing strange. The third page of the GQ interview online , is now gone. If I'm not mistaken, that's the page where he states clearly that he loves everyone regardless, and that's there's only one that can judge. Strange indeed
 10.
I have thought long about this. Phil Robertson has no business placing judgement on anyone. In Christianity I believe only one being makes judgement calls. I am also sure that if you believe in God that you were created in his image, and that has a lot to do with why only God may pass judgement. Phil woke up one day on third base and thought he hit a triple. Just another person out of tune with reality.
If you're going to comment, at least have the witts to actually read what the man said. I know you haven't, because his words strictly contradict what you just wrote about "placing judgement". Instead of thinking, I believe you should have done some reading. No, I did not just judge you
 11. To get back on track (not really)
 12.
And like Chick-fil-A serves good food.
You shut your filthy mouth! I loves me some of their chicken. But....I support your right to say that. See what I did there? Hehe
 13. Something I should have added to my post: I honestly don't care if they in fact do let Phil back on the show, just like I can promise you Phil does not care. A&E does have the right to deny Phil any more screen time as a business, I fully understand that. The reason I'm in this is because of all the "tolerance" being showed by those who preach we should be tolerant of their way of life
 14.
I disagree. I think that's Phil. What you see is who he is.
This. While some of you have not met him, I have. I promise you he is the same bible quoting, shotgun carrying, no desire for the Internet or even a cell phone person you see on the show. The shows, well they're skits the family has thought up, that's all. The "character" he plays, is just him, I honestly doubt he knows how to be anything else. I met him at an awards ceremony for the hunting show they had at the time. He was barefoot amongst a room of suits, ties, and camouflage. I'll stand beside Phil Robertson, as I wish I was nearly as close to The Lord as he is
 15. This would be a great piece of equipment for the 300BO upper I'm planning for early next year.... suppressed, of course. Unfortunately, I only run clamp on gas blocks due to past experience with set screw to the barrel types, which in my opinion is an inferior design engineering wise. If they make a clamp on, I'd more than likely be a customer
 16. We watch it. I love the fact he says a lot of things that I say in my own house
 17.
I wonder, is there enough copper in pennies to melt them down and cast them into bullets or is the alloy all wrong?
Hmm, bullets for pennies on the dollar you say? I'm interested
 18. I guess you'd say I have two. My Glock 19 in a bedside holster thingamajig (no opening drawers) with 15+1 of 9mm, then my wife's LCP in her top drawer in her nightstand. Other defensive weapons placed different places, should we not be in our bedroom
 19.
It took me all of 5 seconds to slice myself with the cryo when I got it.
Glad to know I'm not alone, laid my thumb open pretty good with the fixed blade I got as well lol
 20. I didn't know him, but I did run into him at the gym on occasion when I went regularly. Seemed like a nice guy, was definitely dedicated. Very sad thing. I don't know if there was alcohol involved or not, but I sure hope not.
 21. Yes, do the upper and rail
 22.
You my friend are a hard one to shop for. :D The Mora is becoming a tradition for me, if I don't know the perfect gift from now on I'll get one of those as everyone needs one, even if they already have one they need another. I was really sweating on the other part of the gift, then I saw a post you made about looking for 15-22 mags. Looked online and all the usual suspects were sold out, luckily I found some local. If you need more mags shoot me a PM and I'll let you know where I got that one, they had plenty.
Man I couldn't ask for any better. Sorry to be any trouble, but you sure did well. Very, very much appreciated. What an awesome way to kick off Christmas
 23.
Do you sell such pens? I could possibly be talked into one.
Not particularly, but we can work something out bud. Shoot me a PM
 24.
Received my Secret Santa package today. I grabbed it and opened it up while I was waiting to pick my daughter up from school since I was early in line. I was blown away, when I opened it up there was a pair of mossy oak merino socks that are the same ones I wear. There was also a set of Magpul FDE PTS MBUS in there but where it got really good was in reading the letter SS wrote. SS had also placed a bubble wrap envelope in the box and after reading the letter I opened it up. I'll be damn it was a handmade deer antler pen; it's probably the coolest damn gift I could get. Kudos on this one KKing, you're one awesome dude and that is some fabulous work. I carry a montblanc signature pen usually in my bag and it just got replaced. Can't say enough good stuff about it but I was so elated when I saw it I took a picture and shared it with my dad and wife, here it is. Merry Christmas everyone and thanks again KKing!
I hope ya enjoy it man. Machining is in my blood, even though I didn't choose it as a career path as my dad.
 25. Mine came today. All I have to say is somebody has definitely been reading my posts, and that somebody is also awesome. I got a new 15-22 magazine that I was in bad need of (it was in the package, but I tore it open just like a little kid on Christmas morning lol) and an awesome Morakniv fixed blade with sheath. I don't know who you are, but I sure am thankful.
