I bought a H&R about 2 years ago from Buds when they were $92 shipped. I've beat on that thing and it's never let me down. We have several 870's (10 or so), and I prefer my H&R to them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First off, what gas length is your barrel? It's possible you're so over gassed that the bolt is being pushed away with so much force the extractor can't grab, no mater what spring is in there. I'd do the BCM upgrade regardless, just because to me it's cheap insurance. Otherwise, if you're over gassed you need an adjustable gas block. Don't even fiddle with heavier buffers, springs, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like that a lot! I hate having danglybobs on my key chains, but I would use that one for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you really just claim that society is unfairly "targeting" a group of people that are standing in the middle of the street impeding traffic, actively drawing attention to and making themselves targets for criticism and/or violence? Thanks, I needed a laugh.

I guess in my parts the only time I see any type of gear is in a SWAT situation. To your point, I suppose I would ask you if you believed these "encounters" on the street you speak of aren't the same because of a decay in morality and respect in our society, and therefore less respect for authority, or because of this "militarization"? I can't for a second believe that policing now is what it was 60 years ago.
-
Well stated. Just out of curiosity, can one of you share with me what your idea of "militarization" is? Are you referring to tactics used, gear worn, what exactly? I mean, I feel like I hear that term tossed around, but I don't think I've ever had someone define it. In their opinion, of course.

Edit: Nevermind. Even after the explanation, I doubt I would understand

I'm kinda surprised at some of the responses in this thread. These officers were targeted, simply because they were officers. Like Omega said above, are there bad cops? Certainly. Just like there's bad nurses, lawyers, soldiers, whatever. But for some of you to basically imply that this crap is justified because of some encounter you had with a policeman with little man syndrome, or because of the questionable actions of a few officers blasted all over the media is beyond absurd. Damn shame Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well I have to say, I'm very pleased with my decision to build an AR in this caliber. So far I only have a little over 250 rounds through the gun but it's been flawless, and surprisingly hasn't gotten near as dirty as I imagined it would. I'll put a scope on it around Christmas and shoot some groups, but for now I'm just pleased that it's stupid easy to hit a 8" steel plate consistently at around 125 yards with irons. This magazine has also been reliable, it's a newly released multi caliber magazine, and holds 25 rounds of 7.62x39. I've also been using the newest CPD 30 round magazines with great luck.

Thanks! It couldn't have been a direct hit because you can only smell it when she gets really close to you. Crazy animals Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If it's a barrel you will actually get hot, I'd use this stuff. I've used it with great results. Needs to be baked for best results Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As much as I hate panic buying, if one of your options is "wait" to buy anything AR related, go with the other option Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With the kit you linked all you need to do is add a lower. The lower receiver must go to a FFL, the kit you linked will ship to your doorstep. As you mentioned, from there you're just a couple hours away from a functioning AR. For what it's worth, you could do a lot worse than the kit you linked, buy with confidence Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Suggestions for iron sights on AR 15
KKing replied to idoxlr8's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Echo. Daniel defense make some awesome fixed irons. Magpul MBUS are much tougher than you'd think, even though they are polymer.
