Only 2 things I take away from this: 1) Run. Run far, far away and never return. 2) Stop playing Internet video games

Fed Court Overturns "Docs vs. Glocks" Injunction
KKing replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Or am I missing something???
See... I see it from the healthcare side. Now on all physicals, especially Medicare physicals, healthcare providers are "supposed to" ask those questions. Now, I never have and never will simply because it's none of my business. But, I don't want to run the risk of someone's annual wellness physical not being accepted by their insurance provider because I skipped over that section as either, causing the patient trouble. So it's sort of a catch 22 to anyone in the medical field. That's why I've never liked it. I agree with you though about not caring if they ask me as a patient. I'll either tell them what they want to hear or simply tell them it's none of their business -
I posted this in Rugerla1's thread, but since I could not get the Radical polymer flip up sights zeroed I bought a set of Diamondhead flip up sights. Also, just threw a Vortex 3.5-10x50 scope on top and if the weather cooperates tommorrow am going to the range to see how this barrel will group. The RF front sight was too short, the post would not turn high enough. It had a lip on the bottom of the post that was acting like a hard stop. I emailed RF customer service but no reply, didn't want to waste time calling since this isn't very important. I pulled the sight apart and took a dremel to the post and it will now turn high enough but is too loose and will fall out with any amount of pressure. Before I tore the sight apart, I discovered I could zero the sights if I folded the rear about 1/3 of the way down.... I set these aside and may try to buy a front post and see if it will fit so they could be used on something else. Here are the new flip up sights from Diamondhead. They are not spring loaded but are easy to flip up and the lock is very solid. The diamond aperture is awesome BTW! And even better, they will zero - front post lines up with the red dot and with a laser bore sighter I grabbed.
I hate to hear that, I was really planning on these being a good budget option.

Edit: Spots posted about putting one together or helping put one together, might shoot him a PM.

My county is probably anti NFA now
KKing replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Didn't realize he was that bad. Isn't he require by law to address NFA paperwork within a fairly short time period?
This has always been my thinking. In the end he has no choice, right? -
Not hearing safe? Why the hell even bother?
I think you'd be surprised what is truly "hearing safe". Besides, that's not the intended purpose of a suppressor, it's a perk
-
Still not hearing safe. It is hard to get large calibers into the hearing safe realm.
Thing that kinda excites me is if it's successful at all it might push other manufacturers to get in on it and further the research and development

Anyone else seen this or am I behind? I would think this would sell like crazy to those that use them for home defense. Not much technical info, sadly http://monderno.com/news/silencerco-announces-first-commercial-shotgun-suppressor/
And that is why I don't like Kahr's at all. Thank you. MANY better options out there.
Out of curiosity I'd like to know what you consider better that are the same size/price range. I can't think of very many

Someone please explain what the hell this guy is doing.
Go through the pictures. In almost every one the "instructor" has his finger on the trigger.
Lol good catch. I like the one with the cigar in his mouth, way too badass for me. He appears more low speed, high drag to me. I think I'm going to open my own school -

Aside from my own personal opinion of the content of the video....I do believe that's the worst promotional video I've ever seen -
Well, I did it. I was coming home from Chattanooga yesterday and stopped at the Outpost Armory. They had one standard Gen 4 Glock 19 left, so it went home with me. Looking forward to putting some downrange with it. I may have to go back and get that Kahr CM9 I fondled before the end of the month.
Do it, just do it. The CM9 is the only gun I've sold that I wish I hadn't. I actually went back to the shop to buy it back from them and it was gone. The Kahr's have one of the smoothest triggers I've ever felt, but they're very long and it breaks pretty far back, so it takes a little practice not to pull off target
What really stinks is a rainy Saturday when you can eat breakfast, then drink chicken broth, clear jello and clear popcicles for the rest of the day, then all day sunday including drinking a gallon of cholyte later. Guess what test i'm having Monday? :yuck:
You win, no contest. Rain didn't mess up my Saturday too much. Today was our major moving day into our new home. We got lucky enough to have a enclosed trailer to haul everything with, and just when we'd get really hot from picking the heavy things up, it would come a light shower and cool us off. We're 100% out of our old house and 99% unpacked into this one. You won't hear me complain about the rain one bit. If it had been 90 degrees and humid, today I don't think me and my crew (family) would have been able to truck along all day like we did.

If you were into custom vehicles or hot rods, my vote would be use it as a custom shift lever
I'll give him a call when you are ready for serious dialog. I agree that there are greater sanctions that could be placed on Russia, and who is to know that there are not more coming. In the mean time, this is a start and I'm sorry if it hurts your feelings because you are a gun owner.
Oh I'll gladly dialogue. What I won't do is pretend that he's truly done anything aside from further his personal agenda. Don't worry about my "feelings", that's not how I handle my issues...unlike those that share the views of our all too incapable leader. You can be as willfully ignorant as you so choose, just don't expect anyone else to do the same. I guess you're one of those "Obama doesn't want your guns" guys, right?

Good deed for the week-- took a liberal yankee to the range!

Very well done man. We need more people like you and your fiancé -
I understand the views of gun owners, but I don't dislike Obama so much that I don't support him sanctioning a perceived enemy of this country.
Then why don't you give him a call and tell him to "sanction" something that might actually hurt their economy. Saying that stopping a small export like their guns will hurt their economy is laughable at best. Same bullshit, from same Obama
