1. I know this game isn't a very good measuring stick, but I'm very impressed with our young defense. Heck, Worley has pleasantly surprised me too, I've not been his biggest proponent in the past
  2. Have any of you actually used them? I have. Gonna need some more info. If they're Aguila SUPER Colibri that average ~500fps, for example...I've shot them out of my 20" barreled bolt action quite a bit. Good up to about 20 yards (at a target) and quieter than a pellet gun. If it's just the Aguila Colibri that average ~375, I wouldn't shoot them in anything but a pistol. As always, YMMV, but I've shot about 500 SUPER Colibri out of my bolt action
  3.
If only they televised college soccer. Then I would be interested. Other wise, dont care for college nor pro football. Please dont hate me :hiding:
You posted in this thread simply to say you don't like football, but you like soccer. You asked for it :imo:
  4. I'm pumped, win or lose this game I'm just excited it's football time again in Tennessee. I'd really enjoy it if we were a game over .500. We're still building but we have some big, promising players that will be fun to watch
  5. As bad as I hate to say it, it wouldn't surprise me
  6. I'm sure you've posted it before, but what's your location?
  7. Cannot see pictures on fb, anyone care to post them here?
  8. Absolutely worth it. Terrible picture, but yeah I have one. To me, the KAK buffer tube is a must though ETA: Yes, my OAL is 26.5" or greater, hopefully we don't have to go over this again.
  9.
Just don't leave it in a car in the sun. It will melt. :stir:
Lol and if this happens in Tennessee I'll eat my hat and buy your melted glock from you
  10.
Those that carry IWB, do you have any concerns with mechanical stress when you sit in your car seat? I am specifically wondering about Glocks but any feedback is helpful. Also please state how long you have been sitting with you gun holstered IWB.
No
  11.
All in all, excellent considering a broken face. Better than I would have done, and probably better than most cops too.
This. A thousand times this. If what I've heard is correct, he had a broken eye orbit. I've actually had an orbital fracture, and I can promise you that immediately after it happened I was in no shape to put rounds on target.

    Glock 19
There's some hate out there for the 19, particularly the gen 3 and maybe gen 4 because of brass to face. Not sure how much is real and how much is internet phenomenon. Some people say the cause is limp wristing, others say it is proof that Glocks officially suck. Mine's a gen 3 and never had any problems with it. Great gun.
I carry a 19 as well, IMO it's the perfect balance of size and capacity. As the the brass to face issue, I've been meaning to make a video for some time now documenting what I believe to be the problem. I can hold mine correctly and have the correct stance and never have a piece of brass come at me. If I intentionally limp wrist I'll get brass to the face and the top of the head. My 19 is a gen 3, btw
  13. This thing is still going? Not to get too personal...but is she gay by chance? I figure if we get some gayness in the thread it's good for another 5 pages or so
  14.
http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2014/08/15/exceptional-catch-the-jj-witness-video-eye-witness-audio-of-mike-brown-shooting-sharing-brown-doubled-back-toward-police/Just found this online...The audio in question is about 5mins or so into the video...you have to listen closely under the person actually recording the video, but it is clearly audible...
Seems as though he inadvertently just backed up the police statement
  15. I'd do the exact same thing I do every night at my home, prepare to defend my home against anyone or anything wishing to do me and mine harm. I live in the country, and my neighbors are of the same mindset.
  16.
I have straight talk and it's $45 month with unlimited talk and text but they have a soft cap of 2.5 gb of data which they say they throttle you way back to crawling on speed but it only crawls as it is. My average data speed is .12 mbs notice the decimal point! If you want to talk and text it's good, but their data eats recycled hay from the cow. You also have to buy your own phone which you may or may not care about.
Ah, thanks for the info. I couldn't handle that honestly. We share 10gigs now, just the word "unlimited" lured me in
  17. We're with AT&T. I love the speed, I like the coverage, I hate the price. I've been told by several that we can get into straight talk for $50/line and that's unlimited talk/text/data on AT&T towers. When I get back from vacation I'm going to investigate
  18.
...Remember, you are responsible for you... You can make irreversible choices... leroy
Quoted for truth.
  19.
I gave the cw380 to a family member and traded the cw45 for a loss. The cw45 had godawful recoil and the takedown pin would back out when shooting. Both were ammo finicky and had really rough edges. Maybe after a couple of years of carry those edges may rub smooth. Polymer Kahrs have plastic rails with short metal guides up front around the recoil spring. I hate the idea of that but apparently it has never been an issue for others.
Understood. I guess I was just lucky. I had a CM9 that never gave me trouble from the get go. All types of ammo, different magazines, it was very reliable. I'm hunting for one now, it's one of the only firearms I've ever sold and I regret it awfully

    Got Bored
If I ever get a "bro truck", I wanna hang a SOA reaper on the back window..................................like I'm ever getting a "Bro Truck".
Care to explain what that is? A "bro truck"?
  21. Good un, my wife was trying to fall asleep when I laughed and disturbed her. I told her to blame Obama
  22. For me, and just for me, I like some higher end things simply as preference, not necessity. They aren't any "better" (likely) than some of my other guns. I like billet receivers simply because of the cool designs that can be cut into them as opposed to forged receivers. I like BCM products because I know they just plain work. I like Noveske barrels just because I do. Your S&W AR will probably perform just as well as one I've built with all those components, at a fraction of the price. That being said, I've never bought an assembled AR rifle, so my opinion may not be the one you're looking for. But I've built about 10 or so now, so I know my way around them. Ninety nine percent of us don't "need" high end stuff.
  23. Glad to hear it, I've been wanting to go see both this and Ninja Turtles. Never even seen the Guardians comics, but the previews for the movie looked awesome
